The little girls were mystified and enameled with the various glitters she had in her case. She was patient and gentle with them as they squirmed around in their seats. She made quick work of their henna so they could return to the party but never once at the consequence of the art or design. My aunts and I had so much fun singing and gossiping as she did our henna. We were so excited for the wedding but her professionalism, detail to art and ability to join in on the fun made the experience an even better time. The henna itself dried within an hour to two and I washed it off in the morning. The color was glorious and darkened over the next two to three days so if you're looking for a darker color, schedule two to three days in advance. She was able to perfectly replicate any design we showed her and also freehand whenever requested. It's been almost a week and my henna is now starting to fade but mostly since I'm back at work and constantly washing my hands - the color remains dark still. I was really impressed by the photos other users uploaded. She told me I should get the henna done the day before my birthday so it can look its best on my special day and quoted me a VERY reasonable price. Fatema is amazing! She's super fast, informative and sweet. She did my design in less than 10 minutes and explained to me how henna works. Apparently your body temperature has a lot to do with the final result. She made me put on my coat and (tons) of layers before she started. And when she was done, she put lemon juice all over it so it can come out bright orange. Fatema even let me sit in her home for nearly 20 minutes to let the paste dry -- and offered me grapes! Definitely going back to her again and I've already recommended her to a friend of mine who's marrying a Guyanese man in the near future.

We did as she instructed and then got a reply back from her saying she's been booked for that time already. When my fiancé reminded her that she had agreed to that date and time she claimed she only takes bookings for bridal appointments. Obviously common sense isn't a strong suit for Riddhi as my fiancé had made it clear this is for her WEDDING! We shared screenshots to make sure she was aware of what she agreed to and her inability to meet her obligations. The fact that she cancelled last minute on a bridal appointment is bad, but a small business owner can't simply flake on her customer at the 11th hour and expect to continue business as usual. Absolutely horrendous behavior but my a business owner without owner and a pathetic excuse of a human being. Own up to your mistake and try to be an honorable person.
