When you walk in the store you are greeted by one of the personal consultants who will help you find what you are looking for, get you a dressing room and sometimes challenge you to try something you may never have considered. I love the entire experience! And the clothes, although you pay a bit more, are high quality, trusted brands that make you feel great, and last for seasons. They have off season pieces at discounts and hold sales throughout the year, and I enjoy picking up sale pieces as well as adding new key pieces to my wardrobe when I visit. If you read up on the website or ask in store you will find there is a story behind the founders and the building of the Evereve name. There is a blog by the founders with great tips, insight, thoughts, and so much more! And a theme the team carries through "find fashion, experience joy" in every store along with promoting their "with heart" campaign. A portion of sales goes to charity and you can contact them to hold events in store supporting and promoting meaningful causes. They offer online sales, and a trendsend program (you create a profile and your personal consultant creates and sends you boxes with coordinating pieces you can try and choose from as often as you would like, all delivered to your door!) I love the trendsend idea but personally enjoy the in store experience so haven't signed on for a trendsend... yet. (I could hear they were talking about their weekend plans) No one greeted me or offered to help me with anything. I walked around the entire store and found some jeans I was going to try on but no one approached me at all to help. I decided to skip trying on anything there and exited as soon as I could. I was frustrated that no one said anything to me as they greeted some others as they walked in. I was dressed appropriately and normally I end up buying something when I go in Evereve. My home store is either Sioux Falls, SD or Naples, FL. Both of them are super, the people that work there greet everyone when they walk in and are extremely helpful picking out items that I wouldn't even think to try on. I generally end up buying what they pick out. This is the second time this has happened to me at the Jordan Creek Mall store. Not too excited to go back to that store.

My spouse and I were preparing to attend a wedding, and I needed a new white dress shirt. I originally ordered a full-cut shirt online, but when it arrived, it was far too large. When I brought it into the store, Nadia immediately greeted me and asked if I had been measured by staff. After learning I had purchased it online, she explained that Dillard's team members always measure customers to ensure the right fit. Rob then measured me and located a shirt that fit perfectly. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received. Thank you to Nadia and Rob for their excellent customer service.

The store also seemed to be one busy place. The 1st thing to remember is that everyone is struggling with staff and to be kind to the staff who are there in trying to help people. I found that staff were more than willing to help me and most of the time would actually walk me to an area that I had questions about rather then just give me a general directions and send me on my way. The store was clean and well organized. I needed wide shoes and the staff was willing to admit that they really didn't know but they also were willing to find me someone who did and that was a gentleman by the name of Monty. He gave me several choices looked at my fit on my feet and was honest with me about something that was marked wide but he felt that it wasn't the best fit. I had the gift receipts for both, but couldn't remember which receipt, went for which sweater. So my wife took both sweaters (and gift receipts) back in to the store I purchased them from, with the intent to either replace the non-fitting sweater or receive the amount I paid for it. She was met with extremely poor customer service by a "mature employee" (probably close to my age) and was given a hard time and down right rude attitude to her, about returning the sweater. I shopped at Talbots, because at one time they were a very reputable store, apparently this is no longer true. My wife was so upset, that when she came home, she said she would no longer shop there again; and asked that I do the same. In this day and age of struggling economy, you would think a store of items priced as they are, would put forward a better customer service attitude to retain clients. Unfortunately, not only did they loose my wife's future purchases, but mine also, going forward.
