One of the staff members took panoramic X-rays and photos. I was really surprised when the Dr said that my bite was very good and that I didn't need treatment. The assistant said "we would never treat you unless you truly needed it" I am very impressed with the honesty and I will refer this office to others.

That's not easy to come by these days. I was thinking back of when I first came to this office and how Dr Nguyen pointed out how much my front teeth protruded. I've always known of course but never heard it said out loud by someone else. It was one of those things that I was self conscience about growing up. My teeth. My insecure smile. And not too long ago, he showed me some photos that were taken before he started my treatment and I must say... I definitely have more confidence when I smile and he gave that to me. Dr Nguyen, you are in a profession that changes lives. You're here and you make a difference in the world. I appreciate you, so much. Thank you and your team. You guys are really something special.

MY MESSAGE TO THEM: I am writing to share some urgent concerns regarding my retainers. While I understand there is an adjustment period, the discomfort has reached a point where I am taking pain medication several times a week. I am concerned about the long-term effects of frequent medication use, such as stomach ulcers, and I do not want to continue this routine just to manage the pain from the retainers. More importantly, I am very concerned that my teeth are shifting despite wearing the retainers. I have noticed overlapping occurring, which is not what I expected after having braces for two years. My goal was to maintain straight teeth, and unfortunately, I am not seeing that result. Additionally, I noticed that one of my bottom teeth has chipped since I started using these retainers. I would appreciate your advice on this matter and information regarding the next steps we should take to address these issues. AFTER NO RESPONSE FOR 2 WEEKS: Could you please send me copies of my X-rays from both before and after my braces treatment? THEIR RESPONSE: Thank you for your patience. Regarding your request, please note that we can only send X-rays directly to another practice upon a doctor's request. Could you please clarify if you need this information for a specific purpose? MY RESPONSE: Following up on my request for my dental records. I have specific legal rights under both O.C.G.A. § 31-33-2 and federal HIPAA regulations. MY RESPONSE AFTER RECEIVING X-RAYS: Thank you for providing the requested records. I also want to express my sincere appreciation for the kindness and courtesy shown by your staff; everyone has been wonderful to work with. This makes it difficult for me to share that I am quite unhappy with the outcome of my treatment. Since having my braces removed, I have been in significant pain and discomfort. My teeth feel as though they are shifting, I find myself grinding my teeth, and I am experiencing an open bite that prevents me from biting into certain foods. Overall, my teeth are not as straight as I expected, and the overbite remains. I expressed these concerns to Dr. DJ before the braces were removed, as I did not feel the treatment was complete, but I was assured they were ready to come off. I have invested a lot of time and money into this process and was looking forward to a confident smile, but I am currently miserable with the results. I have already visited the office twice to address these concerns. On the first occasion, I waited for nearly two hours and was never seen. During the second visit, I felt my concerns were "brushed off" rather than addressed. I am looking forward to an appointment to have a clear conversation about the next steps. After investing significantly in this treatment, I want to ensure we are on track to achieve my expected results. I'm simply not happy with my current results. AT MY VISIT: My concerns were brushed off yet again and the conversation was diverted to personal matters. No compromise. No alternative options. Just the usual "your teeth are looking great" nonsense.
