They did such great work and were so reasonably priced that I knew I was not going to have an easy time replacing them. So I researched through Yelp. (As a Yelper, it only made sense!) I decided on Stitch Wiz in the Berkshire Plaza at Broadway and Camino Seco. Finding the shop was a bit difficult, but part of that was operator error (mine). The shop's name was over a side area and I walked the whole length of it, not finding the shop. So I called and the owner came out to find me. How embarrassing - the store was right in front of my parking space! I brought in a dress that I loved the top half of. It has pleats and fancy stitching and I loved the cinched waist. What I wanted was to have the skirt (which was losing its hem anyway), to be cut off and hemmed a few inches below the waist. I picked it up today and it was perfect. I now have a gorgeous top with a peplum bottom. The price was fair and I am happy to have found my new alterations shop.

She does a lot of wedding dress work, proms and formals. She takes pride in her work and she charges fairly. She has shortened shirt sleeves (less than 20 dollars) and worked on some basic custom things for me...She delivers when she says she will and the quality is there. I highly recommend this establishment.
