I waited a year to make this review. I had a claim with them that took over a year and in a year I had to constantly called them to get an update. I also had to assist them in doing their job by collecting paperwork and medical releases on their behalf because they couldn't do it I had to stay in contact and constantly hit them up and reach out to them for updates on. Would go months without hearing from them And to top it off when it came down to it for a 40,000 settlement, they took more than half. I am not satisfied with the service I got from them for my settlement. I highly do not recommend this attorney for your accidents. It is likely that you will interact with 10 different attorneys and five different paralegals before they transfer your file to another law firm due to their inability to manage the case. I was rear ended and my case was simple. I should have fired the Rafi Law Group when my lawyer changed twice. They called me but were looking at someone else's case and took three days to get back to me. Very disorganized. Upon settlement, they sent my check to the wrong address. It took three weeks for the USPS to return the check to Rafi Law Group who then insisted that I come to their office in Phoenix to pick it up. There was zero parking available and at least three vehicles double parked in their small lot. I had to park in a neighboring business and risk getting towed. The paralegal was 30 minutes late to my appointment. Once she finally showed up, it took 30 seconds to sign the form and hand the check over. read more

If you had asked me five years ago how I felt about Rafi Law, I would've said that Rafi and his team were kind, compassionate, and truly cared about their clients. Unfortunately, the quality of this law firm has significantly declined. It now feels as though clients are seen more as numbers than individuals--with the focus seemingly more on funding citywide advertising than on providing personal, attentive service. From the start of my treatment, I clearly requested that my personal health insurance be used instead of a lien through the at-fault party's auto insurance. Despite this, the firm continued to use the lien without my consent to cover chiropractic care, even though I had valid health coverage. As a result, when it came time to settle and reimburse providers, those costs came directly out of my pocket--something that could have been avoided had my request been respected. On top of that, the 35% contingency fee they charge is steep, especially given the lack of responsiveness. It's incredibly difficult to reach your attorney. While the staff is polite, communication is painfully slow. When my settlement check was finally ready, I had to personally follow up multiple times with their accountant, Alejandra, just to get a response. When I asked why no one called to inform me my check was ready, all I received was an apology--one of many I've heard throughout this process. If you're considering Rafi Law, I strongly urge you to explore other options. A smaller firm with better communication and more client-focused service would have made a world of difference. I rarely write reviews, but the complete lack of communication and professionalism from Rafi Law Group has left me no choice. My case was settled over 2 months ago, and I have now followed up three times requesting copies of my claim documentation--still nothing. Every time I call, I get the same runaround: my attorney Mr. Sickle is "unavailable" and the accountant Rosa is "busy." That's it. No updates. No follow-through. Just empty promises and deflection. To make matters worse, I finally received a settlement breakdown and was shocked to see that their attorney fee jumped from the originally agreed-upon 33% to 35% without any explanation. Even more concerning, there's a mysterious "advance" listed for $532--money I never received or was even told about. And let's not forget: I'm still waiting on my final check, which they claim is being held up due to "health insurance liens." No clear answers. No communication. No accountability. The entire experience has been beyond frustrating. For a firm that has no problem collecting their inflated fee, they sure seem to have a problem responding to clients or providing basic transparency. Do yourself a favor and go with a firm that actually values communication, integrity, and client service--because this was nothing but a disappointment. Negligent, Unresponsive, and Emotionally Damaging This has been one of the most frustrating and emotionally draining experiences I've ever had with a professional service. I haven't heard from this law firm in months, despite multiple messages. I only found out my original paralegal left in November through an auto-reply--yet strangely, she still texted me about my case in January, adding confusion to an already chaotic situation. I was eventually assigned a new paralegal who refused to send me my own medical records, which I need for reasonable accommodations at work. After I pressed the issue, he finally agreed--but I still haven't received anything. Meanwhile, I am still in pain, and no one has followed up about further treatment. They refuse to refer me elsewhere because BackFit claimed I've reached "maximum medical improvement"--a conclusion I strongly disagree with. Throughout this entire process, I have never once spoken to an actual lawyer. The negligence, poor communication, and complete lack of accountability have only added to my stress, anxiety, and physical suffering. My first statement would be if I coukd give no stars I would. Almost two years ago my daughter and I were rear ended while at a complete stop by a high school student whom parents let them drive a car with no insurance. Well I thought I was still protected as I had uninsured and under insured insurance. This however was not the case. I have had nothing but problems from the moment I signed with them. They have tried guilt tripping me by saying things like maybe the other party involved couldnt afford insurance so I should cut my losses. Um, I beg your pardon? Why are they letting their teenage driver drive then? After that comment was made supposedly every time I called my lawyer was suppose to be the only person I was going to talk to. I believed they were handling the case as they knew I wanted to pursue civil as well since that would not be covered by my insurance. I was advised by my lawyer not to start a civil suit until this lawsuit was finished. Well let me tell you that you only have two years after an incident to file a civil suit. They have single handedly managed to draw this out for damn near that long. Here is the ironic part of it, even though I had called every month for an update for the past year to never being able to get ahold of my attorney and that includes multiple emails sent, voicemails left, and leaving voicemails on their escalation line where they state you will receive a call back within one hour I never received a response. I finally became so upset I went in person in which I asked when is the last time my lawyer has done anything for my case? I was told the last notes from him were on October of 2024; my visit to their office was in October of 2025. That in itself should tell you something, however, my experience gets even better. I requested at this time to change lawyers as after a year of no contact I also find out that my case is stagnant because their is no insurance adjuster on it. This once again is part of their job duties considering the amount of money they are profiting from my loss. Well, I did get a new attorney in which I received my first offer and my final offer from the insurance. Let me amuse you by telling you how big of a joke that was. My first offer was 41000 and my second offer was 44000. My lawyer told me this would give 15000 in pocket after all the expenses were paid. I couldnt help but laugh at this as I had 4 herniated discs in my neck that were pressing against my spinal cord in which I had excruciating pain and was unable to use my left arm for approximately 2 months, and I had 3 to 5 doctor visits a week and the only other vehicle I had was my large pickup trucking only getting like 10 miles to the gallon and my doctor was 2 cities away from my house. So I told my lawyer that probably barely covers my gas and no offer. Then my lawyer without consulting me decided to tell the insurance I would settle for 75000. This to me is completely unethical and I do not understand at all why he thought he could make those types of decisions for me. Well he came back with the final offer of 44000. I asked him why they thought this is a fair amount considering my medical alone is that much? Do I not get pain and suffering, loss wages, etc? So I did my own research in which I found out typical pain and suffering calculations are 3 to 5 times the amount of medical so based off that math I think 100000 is a reasonable amount. His response is I dont get that because I am suing my own insurance company and because the person that hit me does not have assets to cover that the insurance is only going to pay me out an amount to where they are able to break even. Once again I beg your pardon? They are an insurance company I paid my premium for years that is the price of doing business. So I guess because they would be at a loss I cant receive compensation for my losses. This is a fucking joke. Do not hire this law firm I can personally attest that I have given and done more research then my attorneys on this case, in which it is still not settled. And after every problem I have had from the get go I really cant help but think they must have some secret contract or agreement with progressive in which they screw their clients over to receive some type of compensation. I say this because they have never had my best interest in mind and continually give excuses trying to guilt trip me into taking less then what is fairly owed to me. And now im being told because I wont settle it will be another 2 years before I would even be able to go to trial on this even though we are already almost at the first 2 year mark already in which now I am unable to file a civil suit. I got into a car accident in July 2022 & I will not be going back to RAFI for any accident (God forbid) moving forward. I do not recommend you go to them either. Don't let the billboard fool you into thinking you will get a pleasant experience. The staff I worked with were mostly females. They switched my attorneys, but did not switch my unhelpful case manager Virginia after I expressed my concerns about her. My accountant, Vanessa, was impatient when I asked follow up questions and a breakdown of what exactly RAFI was charging me for when I am legally entitled to knowing what exactly is going on with my case. RAFI stated I would be getting additional funds from my insurance for medical coverage & that I would receive the rest of the money that they "Held in Trust" (if there was any) over the phone, but yet when I asked for these statements in writing, Vanessa seemed to be annoyed like it was an inconvenience I asked for evidence of them stating this claim. Don't be surprised when they give you a hard time when you ask for their verbal statements in writing. Virginia would give me deadlines she would not fulfill when it came to gathering my file. I called in December weeks before Christmas & she said she would get it done in December. Called again in January, she said it wasn't done due to the holidays even though I called well before Christmas. Then she proceeded to say she would complete it by the end of January. Guess what? Called again in February. She single-handedly prolonged my case a couple months just to put documents together. Not to mention, I obtained copies of 3 of my documents RAFI needed before they obtained copies for themselves and deducted the "administrative" fees from my settlement. The police report only cost $5 on the public website so why did they charge an extra $20-30 just to OPEN my file to add that document in? My hospital bill & primary care documents were either free to obtain or less than $25 to obtain yet they are charging me an extra $50 for each file just for OPENING my file. Don't even get me started on the shady doctor they had me going to. It seems as though the staff and the doctors that work with RAFI are highly impatient and unprofessional when it comes to explaining things. My attorney was good, she was patient with me, but other than that, dealing with all RAFI staff was a 10/10 headache. Please seek accident attorney help elsewhere. read more

I was in a hit and run accident nearly 2 years ago and no improvement since. I have had more than 3 attorneys from Rafi law group resign from my case. Each time an attorney casually resigned from my case, they would not update me, I even gave a former attorney very sensitive information not knowing they resigned from my case months ago, and they have also lost alot of my case's information from the files, such as my injury reports from the doctor, my emails with my professors, pay stubs I sent them and more. One of the worst parts is Rafi Law group assigned themselves towards my property damage which they are only an accident law firm and ignored all the calls received from the other insurances adjuster, so as of right now, my car has been totaled and I have not been compensated, note that the man that caused the hit an run was found guilty and I suffered multiple injuries and they make it seem like my case has no grounds of compensation it's actually insane. There has been so many problems, I have been advise to file against them for malpractice. Kent Law has since taken over my case and have been helping my case improve and I'm thankful for them. As for Rafi Las group, I hope you take all of your clients cases serious because you guys have costed me so much of a burden I receive gray hairs just thinking about it.
