This was recommended to us by the wine bar in Crosby Minnesota. We literally cross the street and walked in and the place is so cool with brick walls, old wood floors and a beautifully clean restaurant. The bar has lots of choices for beer and wines. We opted for the sausage, pepperoni and mozzarella pizza and a mini anchovy for me. My husband also got a small salad which was not small at all with amazing blue cheese dressing. He also got a Guinness and I got a Mick ultra and we were happy campers. read more

Don't get me wrong - the pizza is second to none. Some of my favorites, and I'm a weird out-of-stater that has been dreaming about Rafferty's since I was here last. But tonight when we visited, it seemed tensions were high. No small talk at the register, just complaints about a credit card surcharge, and how they'll charge more soon (!). Ask about beers, get a short answer and they walk away. No visit to the table, just overly loud complaints that they're understaffed. And it's not like the manager/owner didn't have time to talk, she had plenty of time to visit and meet with others. I'd rather eat elsewhere. read more

The pizza was excellent! We loved it so much. I loved the sauce and my mom loved that they actually had anchovies - she can never find them at pizza places. The service was attentive and very friendly! We noticed how great the service was several times. The restaurant was really nice and we loved all the creative bike decor! It was very clean and nice. I am obsessed with this location! Rafferty's has always been my go to pizza place anytime I am up north but the Brainerd location gets super busy, service isn't always friendly which is totally opposite of the Crosby location! First off parking is super easy in the alley. When you walk inside it's so cute with the bicycles hanging up (true to Crosby style) and a large bar with some high tops and my favorite are the larger booths. The service is so friendly and there are some arcades games in the back to keep the kids entertained. My favorite is the jalapeño pizza with extra jalapeños. I can't speak to a lot of the other menu items as I always order the same thing as it's that good. The only negative is the bathroom is out in the buildings hallway that only fits one person but everything else exceeds my expectations! read more

The wood fire basil pesto was scrumptious. I asked for the shiitake and portobello mushrooms and not sure if it originally comes with button mushrooms. They have gluten-free crust and gluten-free cauliflower crust but neither can be made in wood fire and only small and medium available. The place was clean, the staff was professional, friendly, and fast. Grace was the server and she was pleasant and was able to help and answer all my questions and provided great customer service. Excellent pizza! We tried a pep & sausage which was exactly the way we liked it- crust had a nice chew, sauce was plentiful, zesty and flavorful (not sweet!) sausage had good seasoning, was properly sized and cooked. Pepperoni was just right, not smokey like so many can be. Taco pizza i would qualify as good. Lettuce should be cut much smaller (not 8" long romain strips.). Came with sour cream and salsa. Salsa was pretty much tomatoes. Would like a taco sauce option to put on please. Otherwise the flavors were good and toppings enough to supply all pieces well. Also had the Cuban which was generally very good. Unfortunately there was a TON of mustard on it which kinda overpowered the finer points of the pork and rest of ingredients so hard to dissect the parts. Disclaimer: we ate here Fourth of July week, and it was crazy busy. So that could have/probably did impact our experience. Two adults, two kids. Ordered three pizzas: pepperoni and black olive (good), buffalo (bad), and margarita (okay). Video games in the back all had one malfunction or another, except they took money just fine. Service was sloooooow. Our table was surrounded by people so we were watched as we ate, which is uncomfortable. We will give this place another try another time. read more

On our way to go back to the cities, we called ahead and were able to get a delicious wood fired pizza ready to carry out within 5 minutes, which was exactly how much time we wanted to spend as we were already leaving town late. We ordered the 3 mushroom pizza and it was delicious, we had them hold the truffle oil, which usually comes on it, and added broccoli. It was very good, but we thought it was very expensive at almost $18 for a 12" pizza. But it was quick and filling and the service very friendly. If we have this pizza again, we would add red sauce as it really needs some acid to counter all the cheese. But it's a good option in a town with several good options. read more

Best woodfire pizza in Minnesota! Recommend red sauce and adding on some fresh mozz to their regular cheese blend and have them top oil. Any of the toppings you cannot go wrong. They are all the real deal. The sausage is so good and their mushroom blend is like nowhere I have ever seen. You will not be disappointed with the woodfire pizzas. They also have a fun rooftop patio you can eat and drink at and see a glimpse of the lake. So If up north, worth the drive!!! Also, Crosby is a great little town to do some shopping in. TO NOTE: the Crosby location is the only Rafferty's that has the amazing food fire pizzas, the other locations as of now do not do the woodfire pizzas. read more

Sorry, awful pizza, awful experience!! Ridiculous that each time you want something you have to make a trip up to the register, stand in line order, go back to your seat and wait. And you pay as much or more then a full service restaurant. Then, if that isn't bad enough, everyone's meal comes at different times. I had finished eating before others even received their meal. Pizza (Big Cuyuna) was good in concept, not great in in execution., Significantly undercooked.... Safe, I'm sure, but not great.

I tried the taco pizza and the Jamaican jerk pizza--both were great! The Jamaican was unique and flavorful. When I called to order, the person who answered was friendly and everything was good. I definitely recommend this! One of my favorite places in Crosby! read more

We have tried all the Raffertys in the area but this is our new favorite place. It's located on a corner and two walls are windows which brings in beautiful light. Place was clean and service was prompt. Had a wood fired pizza which was really good. I love their original pizza but wanted to try the wood fired as this is the only Raffertys you can get that. Will definitely come again. Didn't sit on the roof as it was raining but hoping the weather cooperates next time. read more

Great! My kids grew up on Rafferty's pizza so when they came home for the 4th of July we all went to try the new restaurant. Glad we did. Pizza was phenomenal, staff was super friendly, place was spotless, and the decor extremely vintage Crosby. We'll be back many times again. This company must have very good management. read more
