The crew did a great job. Fast but careful. They removed a 65 foot crowded Curly Willow without disturbing its surroundings. Excellent work. read more

I called Rafael's Tree Service this morning for a quote to remove one tree and trim two others. Rafael showed up in less than an hour to give us a quote -- his price was very fair, and he's fully licensed and insured. Within just a few hours of my first call, he and his crew came out and took care of everything! They worked efficiently, cleaned up afterward, and were super professional the entire time. This is the second time we've used Rafael's company, and both experiences have been excellent. He's personable, reliable, and clearly takes pride in his work. Rafael even gave our neighbor a quote, and they ended up hiring him too! If you need any kind of tree work done, I can't recommend him enough. read more

I want to compliment Rafael and his team for excellent workmanship. It was impressive to watch as they cut one tree down from our property and then proceeded to grind our stump. They also cut back a second tree, which had grown over our property line and our roof. They left our yard clean, were extraordinarily efficient and very reasonably priced. Definitely a five star company! read more

Rafael and his crew are absolutely amazing! I have hired them for years to prune and thin the trees in my front and back yards. Raphael meets with you, walks your yard, asks questions to guide his work and gives excellent advice and recommendations. His crew members are true professionals who are able to circumvent all of my garden decorations, potted plants and outdoor ornaments. He works to give excellent value for the cost. I highly recommend Raphael's Tree Service. read more

Rafael and his crew were exceptionally efficient and professional. I needed a 35 foot cypress and two smaller ones removed and was apprehensive about the potential cost. But after consulting with Rafael, I was pleasantly surprised by how fair his quote was. Rafael and his men arrived that same day, with all the correct equipment and, in no time, cut down the trees and cleaned up any debris afterwards. Gotta write another review, I'd give more than 5 stars if possible. Last month I had Rafael's remove two very large fan palm trees from a small area behind my pool that needed extra precautions. I was so impressed I had them come back out to trim and clean up 23 queen palm trees which had grown taller than I can handle. Once again they arrived on time, were organized and fast. There were 7 or 8 guys and Rafael was there keeping an eye on the job. It was like an assembly line, everyone had a job and no one sat around. They finished 23 palm trees in less than three hours, shredded all the branches and large pods that were getting ready to open up and cleaned up after themselves leaving no sign they were even here. Rafael's Tree Service is professional, reliable, reasonable and takes pride in their work. I'll always be a repeat customer for all my tree needs. read more

They did such a great job cutting my out of control trees and they cleaned up all the mess. They were quick to respond and affordable. I definitely recommend this company. read more

Rafael and his team were here quickly and gave us a fair price for our 50 foot pecan tree. He had a team of six including himself on site today they were done in a few hours. They know what they're doing and they're very careful not to damage our powerlines or any of our landscaping. I definitely and highly recommend them. It is really important that you hire a tree service company that has a contractor's license for tree service not a landscape contractor's license which Rafael's Tree Service possesses. You can also should check their California contractor's license online quick and easy. Next tip...get multiple quotes. We got 4 of them and they were all over the board price wise for the same exact work. Final tip...make sure when you get an estimate that the provide it in writing. We had one quote and when they said they could not provide it in writing, I did not feel comfortable even despite that they had 5 Yelp stars. read more

Rafael's crew just finished another job for me and as usual they were quick and extremely neat in their work. Removed an old tree and trimmed 2 others. And prices are very reasonable. read more

I had 3 large palm trees on the side of my pool deck that got to a point where they were constantly shedding debris into my pool and caused unrepairable damage to the pool deck as the trees grew larger. Palms are NOT pool friendly as some would tell you. Rafael's experienced crew systematically removed all 3 palms, ground the stumps out and totally cleaned up the mess caused by the removals. I couldn't be happier!! read more

Very courteous, quick and efficient. We would definitely use them again and would recommend Rafael.

I was very impressed with Rafael's Tree Service. He said they'd be there at 7:30 and at exactly 7:30 they were pulling up in front of my home. I had several issues to be taken care of: Cut several trees away from the roof of my home, remove one dead redwood tree, remove and stump grind one dying Tulip tree, thin out and remove dead branches from 200+ year old oak tree, cut back PodoCarpus tree, and thin out three camphor trees. Not a small order! He even offered to clean up the years of leaves that had accumulated in the back yard. They did all of this in about one half day. Overall my yard was left cleaner than I have seen it in many years. Rafael was very professional and his price was reasonable. I highly recommend him and his team if you are looking for a tree service. read more

Prompt, and professional! Their crew finished trimming my 14 palm trees, and removed a tree in less than 2 hours. A pleasure doing business with them! read more

Rafael & his crew have worked on trees on 2 of our properties. They are more like tree artists than tree trimmers. I can't say enough good things about this company. They arrived on schedule, did a great job on our trees & did a thorough cleanup when they were done. Based on their work on our trees, other neighbors on my street have used them too & been very happy. I've seen many trees in my neighborhood hacked on by other tree services & they look absolutely horrible. Rafael's work ensures that my trees will continue to thrive. I highly recommend this crew! read more

I honestly had the best experience with this company. They are the hardest working crew I've seen and they do a spectacular job. Rafael is a great person who's honest and very hardworking. I will never use another tree service other than them. You will definitely get the best when using this company. I would recommend them to everyone. read more

We hired Rafael of Rafael's Tree Service to trim our palm trees and cut old branches from our Black Walnut Tree. We couldn't be more pleased!!! His crew of 4 men arrived on time and worked together like a well oiled machine! They cleaned up the driveway, yard, the roof and even blew off the decks when they were done. Even picked up a couple of piles of other limbs we had around and chipped it all up nice and neat! I would totally recommend Rafael's Tree Service and will have them back on a yearly basis. read more
