I had reservations about any serious cutting affecting it esthetically. Between the skepticism and dread of dealing with neighbors, it got put off. Eighteen months later, a large branch fell and it was beyond obvious that the weight of all of the branches was just too much. We got back in touch with Marcos and he graciously came back out to reevaluate. I explained why we had postponed the inevitable and he went into detail on the how/when/why.
