I had reservations about any serious cutting affecting it esthetically. Between the skepticism and dread of dealing with neighbors, it got put off. Eighteen months later, a large branch fell and it was beyond obvious that the weight of all of the branches was just too much. We got back in touch with Marcos and he graciously came back out to reevaluate. I explained why we had postponed the inevitable and he went into detail on the how/when/why. They were so careful to clean up any mess they made and were mindful of other surrounds plants and drip lines. They also blew off as much debris as they could from our pool cover. I wish I remembered the gentleman's name who was the GC of the job...he kept us updated about what was happening and was just so kind. All-star company. Couldn't ask for a better experience. They removed our grass and leveled the area which was very uneven due to our septic settling. They replaced all the sprinklers added drip. They added decomposed granite to an area and built a flagstone and DG walkway. We have acreage and they laid over 3,000 square feet of grass! They also laid gopher wire under the sod.
