Which I loved because I've been to other salons before and felt like I was just being passed around in an assembly line - no connection with the stylist at all. But at Haides, I felt totally comfortable from the moment I went in. Downstairs is the barbershop and you kind of have to go out and around to the salon. I wasn't sure so I walked into the barbershop first and someone escorted me up to the salon. The whole environment they create is very welcoming and chill. I can't express that enough. There's been so many times I've walked into a different salon and felt like either nobody is paying attention or you're "just another number." At Haides they really make you just feel so comfortable. Also love that they're right in Surrey. It'll be so nice to have somewhere to get my hair done that's so much closer as opposed to going all the way out to Vancouver somewhere. Location might be a bit tough to get to if you don't pay attention like me. But there's ample amount of parking. They don't take walk ins. Which I don't really know a place that does for color anyways. Especially for high quality work. So plan to book ahead! Prices are very fair. Angelica was very knowledgeable about the products she was using and she told me all about which products to use to take care of my hair. She was very sweet and nice, she would always tell me what she was doing to my hair during the process which I loved because sometimes stylists don't do that. Angelica was also a fun person to talk to, which was a plus for me because she did my hair for 8 hours long and I totally love her vibe! Overall, I highly recommend to get your hair done my Angelica she's literally an artist and I am very happy with how my hair turned out. She knew exactly what she was doing, and the results she gave me was immaculate! Angelica really met my expectations and provided me a fantastic service; she is highly skilled and very professional.
