I have been hearing about this place for several years from many different people in my city…read more Never a bad thing to be heard, always great looking heads of hair are what I see. This is why I have heard so much, because I ask people where they got such a great hair cut and shave. They tell me " I go to Raf's in Langley on the one way, you can't miss it." So this time I finally went in and was amazed. I was told to go in early as there is most likely a wait the later you go. So I went in around noon and waited for two fellows to get done before I was in there. About twenty minutes later I was released from his clutches and was looking and feeling like a million dollars. I have never been groomed in such a manner. Very, very laid back fun environment, fun chatter to listen to, or get involved with, what ever have you. Knows the art of hairstyle very well. Definitely underrated!!

This place is the real deal! Did a balayage done by Rachel and it's perfect. She's the sweetest!…read moreShe really takes the time make sure she knows what you want and does her best to get you there. And the quality of her work is amazing! She also takes the time to explain what's going on in the process and kept me updated on what she was doing. Which I loved because I've been to other salons before and felt like I was just being passed around in an assembly line - no connection with the stylist at all. But at Haides, I felt totally comfortable from the moment I went in. Downstairs is the barbershop and you kind of have to go out and around to the salon. I wasn't sure so I walked into the barbershop first and someone escorted me up to the salon. The whole environment they create is very welcoming and chill. I can't express that enough. There's been so many times I've walked into a different salon and felt like either nobody is paying attention or you're "just another number." At Haides they really make you just feel so comfortable. Also love that they're right in Surrey. It'll be so nice to have somewhere to get my hair done that's so much closer as opposed to going all the way out to Vancouver somewhere. Location might be a bit tough to get to if you don't pay attention like me. But there's ample amount of parking. They don't take walk ins. Which I don't really know a place that does for color anyways. Especially for high quality work. So plan to book ahead! Prices are very fair. Honestly for the quality of work you're definitely getting more! Will definitely be back and literally have been telling everyone I know about this place. Thanks Haides and special thanks to Rachel! You're amazing !!!

Angelica was also a fun person to talk to, which was a plus for me because she did my hair for 8 hours long and I totally love her vibe! Overall, I highly recommend to get your hair done my Angelica she's literally an artist and I am very happy with how my hair turned out.
