The best Pediatric Dentist in Nashville…read more My daughter, who is 8, recently had to have braces put on her top teeth to help them be properly positioned. First, there was no pressure to have them installed Dr. McNutt gave us the pros and cons and was very gracious in his approach to working with us in this process. Our biggest fear was how much this was going to cost - she has to have 10 teeth moved - we feared that it was going to be $100 or more per tooth and take years to have accomplished. Dr. McNutt put those fears to rest with a fee that was well below $100 per tooth and quoted us a time frame of only 8-10 months! We were surprised and our daughter is on her way to having her teeth moved into their proper positions! Thank you Dr. McNutt for your prompt attention and kind approach to working with us!

This is a brand new practice in a refurbished house, so the space is very fresh, clean, and vibrant looking. Everyone there was beyond nice - just incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My daughter, 5, was a bit nervous, but was charmed by the kid-friendly touches. The hygienist was so gentle and warm; my daughter relaxed and felt comfortable cooperating with all of the procedures. Dr. Mirna is delightful! She is so sweet and engaging. I felt like she did a very thorough exam, NOT like one of those dentists who rushes in at the end of the appointment and looks at your teeth for 20 seconds. After we left, my daughter kept saying how fun it was to visit the dentist, and that is exactly the kind of attitude I want to foster in her.

I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office…read more I was clearly told that the exam for my son would cost $93, and no one informed me that an X-ray would be taken or that there would be any additional charge. After the appointment, they suddenly charged me $250 -- and I had no idea that any extra service had been done or that it would cost more. I had no information about the X-ray at any point. No one explained that it would be performed or that it had a separate fee. This lack of communication is completely unacceptable. When I went back to speak with the manager, she was rude, dismissive, and not helpful at all. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, she blamed me and said, "Did you ask?" This is extremely unprofessional -- it is the clinic's responsibility to inform patients before doing any additional procedure or charging extra fees. I left feeling disrespected and financially taken advantage of. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who expects honesty, transparency, and proper communication.

Not the fault of the dentist at all, it was just a natural reaction, so we looked for a pediatric dentist & so happy to find Dr. Bryan. This place is welcoming and the Dr really tries to get to know your family and talks to your child before even going to the dental chair. Does a great job of trying to build rapport with a child. Also provides great info to support your child's dental health. Then it was time for the cleaning. Needless to say ours cried and dad had to hold him, but Dr. Bryan was swift and it was done efficiently and quickly. He cleaned our child's teeth (despite the yelling and tears) and took care of any teeth issues! Our little one (once it the car) said Dr. Bryan was nice and it didn't hurt. Dr. Bryan and his staff really knows how to support and work in these challenging situations. The office is clean and welcoming as well for families.

I decided to try a pediatric dentist and found Dr. Wah online. Before every visit, he sits and talks to the children, asks about life, engages them in a fun conversation to ease their minds. He treats and does everything necessary, nothing more and explains and informs you throughout the process. Talking with him, you will know he is a wealth of knowledge. And you know that when you leave, you have a dentist you can trust and one who sincerely cares about their oral health. Now if I could find an adult dentist as good. :)

The lady in the office called my insurance and confirmed that it is covered only to blame the insurance for not covering a specific type of filling.
