Radost means happiness!!! And it is not coincidence! I am happy every single time, when we go to this restaurant :) They have really good lunch menus! I have found this restaurant thanks to my colleague from new job :) And.. it is addictive! They have many vegetarian food - little bit with mexico inspiration, great salads, amazing soups... And their apple pie... so - deserts also! They provide WIFI for free, have really posh furniture and nice stuff. I can warmly recommend this place! And I never forgot my first visit and long looks of interest later... ;) read more

A very cool place...wish we'd gone earlier to go into the cool shop across the hall!!! Staff was awesome and lots of options...the 5 of us all ordered different things and all were great. Love this restaurant! The atmosphere is very cosy and relaxed yet at the same time classy. Even though they only serve vegetarian meals, the menu is very varied and even meat lovers can usually find adequate tasty substitutes. The drinks menu is also interesting and as such Radost is a great place for lunches, afternoon coffee with friends, dinners or chilled time when you just feel like reading a book or newspapers. The service is very good and friendly. You just feel like being home among old friends even if you come here for the first time. I can highly recommend this restaurant. read more

My favorite restaurant in Prague. I used to come here for dinner every day when I lived nearby. Everything on the menu is vegetarian. They have a wide selection of foods from around the world. I love their nachos (don't get more than 1/2 order no matter what!), artichoke dip, hot wet burrito, Richard's risotto, and something Asian vegetables with sesame seeds. And the waitresses are all so damn cute ;) My only issue is that they don't accept credit cards. Really annoying (and expensive for foreigners)! Please fix that Radost! read more

I am not a vegetarian but I decided to be nice to my vegetarian friend and visit this place for dinner. Please note that I am a hardcore meat eater. She orders the quesadillas while I get the green curry. The quesadilla was done pretty nice but it's pretty hard to mess those up. The green curry was phenomenal. It had so much flavor that I forgot there was no meat in the dish. I highly recommend it for anyone even though they're not vegetarian. read more

I visited Radost FX when I first arrived in Prague and made a point of visiting a second time before I left town. The ambiance is trendy without being cold and the bar is quiet enough to maintain a conversation at normal voice levels. The selection for vegetarian food is plentiful and the same goes for the drink list. The waitress/waiter was quick with my drink, and if you are in the mood, pleasant conversation. In fact I have found the entire staff to be professional, courteous and endearing. We discovered Radost FX half way though our trip to Prague, and we didn't eat anywhere else from then on. I honestly wish we had found it on the first day. As a vegetarian it was fantastic to find an extensive but not expensive menu, that was filled with things that I could eat, rather than being limited to the one or two vegetarian choices of other restaurants. The menu contains several dishes from each area of the world, for example 3 or 4 Italian dishes, 3 or 4 Mexican dishes, some Czech dishes and many many others. We had different things each night and each meal was better than the one before it. I could happily eat there every night for a month and probably choose something different each time. There were also several Vegan options. And I'm sure meat eaters would be able to find something they might like as the selection is so good. The staff were very helpful, the menu was in English and the food was well priced. There is also a bar at the back and a club downstairs if you want to make an evening of it I find myself regularly wishing there was a Radost FX in Chester where I now live as it would make choosing somewhere to eat very simple! read more

It was a little tough to find at first, but well worth the wait. The interior is super funky and I believe there is dancing downstairs later at night. My fiance and I went for dinner and had a great time. The food was a bit heavy (and oil-y) but the place is great for vegetarians/vegans. In the end, I think the atmosphere is what makes this place worth the visit. The food is forgettable when compared to Maitrea and Lehká hlava from a vegetarian perspective. read more

Food was fine--I had meatballs with mashed potatoes. Drinks were cheap. Service was poor. The first time I went they told us they had no seats so we left. Then we made a reservation online. When we go there they told us they had no more spots so they put us in the smoking area. I left with a headache from secondhand smoke. Would not return. read more

OK first things first. This is a vegetarian restaurant that actually does a mean omelette. The serving is huge and will keep you sated for at least 8 hours, depending on your metabolism. However, every time I've been there I'm seated in the back room, which is overwhelmingly smoky and even more overwhelmingly kitsch in its decor. It's like a seedy nightclub that shouldn't be seen by daylight. Perhaps for some people this might be appealing, but not for me. Although, Rihanna did shoot her music film clip here. I used to meet with my friend for dinner in this cafe. Amazing restaurant with vegetarian food and unusual non-alcoholic (as well as alcoholic) drinks. The waiting process for dishes does not take more than 20 minuets that is why I'm always comfortable with computing the time for making an order. Came here for brunch one day and was not disappointed yet it wasn't the best brunch spot in Prague. The eggs are good and coffee is good and you get a great value. Discovered Radost FX via Qype and would recommend it to others, too. I had a vegetarian Burger, my Girlfriend rice with refried beans. Both were delicious, so was the Tiramisu for dessert. Found this place on our last night in Prague and absolutely loved it. With my boyfriend being a vegetarian and myself a meat lover we clashed on several evenings over where we should eat. We both loved it and stayed the whole night, going on to the club downstairs, which was also a winner. So affordable and the staff are excellent. Great for veggies and meat eaters alike!! read more
