Forget Las Andelitas, but sorry, Cantina is MUCH better Mexican food. They label it as a "Tex-Mex" since the influx of Mexicans in Texas is popular and they've fused their own cuisine. Whatever all of that means, this was still the best Mexican food that I've had in Prague, and almost anywhere for that matter. I had a huge burrito with shrimp, rice, beans, etc. I must say that one thing about Prague is I never thought that the guacamole anywhere was as good as the states. However, here is where they had legit guac. The drinks were really good too, I had a strawberry margarita. It's located in Prague 5, on the other side of the river, close to Cafe Savoy (another gem in the city). It's a bit pricey...maybe 180kc for my burrito, so you'll come out spending 200+, but hey it's great food. Go here with a group of good friends and just have a good time!

Delicious Mexican food in a great location. Outdoor dining is a bonus too. Nachos were massive and tasty.

Mexican food in Prague sounds weird and out of place but this spot is a must try if you're in the city. My friend was craving mexican food and this place was the closest to us. The Nacho's cheese was gooey and had a nice hint of jalapeño in it. Also the cheese topping was generous and the chips were thin and crispy. It's definitely worth the money. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and the tortilla had a light crisp to it with a soft while the inside was tender. The cheese was generous in this as well and also had a hint of jalapeño. I didn't taste the chicken much because of the cheese but it was still delicious. This place was a pleasant surprise and better than most Mexican food I've had in America.

The Cantina was very close to our hotel (Aria), which is an area that seemed to be a melting pot for restaurants. On the day we left to go back to NY, we decided to have one last bite. Cantina is a solid spot for traditional Mexican food, a rarity in Prague. I ordered the enchiladas which were delicious. My boyfriend had the chicken quesadilla which he gave the stamp of approval also. If you're sick of traditional Czeck food or just don't like it (like me), check out Cantina and the neighboring restaurants.

Happen upon this restaurant! Mexican in Prague? Yes!! I looked over the menu and it got me at Bean soup!!! It was amazing, favors some of the best I have ever had. Think American chili without meat it is served with mount of shredded cheese and tortilla chip strips. Also had chips and homemade salsa. They could bottle that salsa and be millionaires . Services was Ok! The girl seemed stressed and the guys were calmer. Prices were cheap I paid 186k for both. Worth the visit!!!!

My friend brought me here on a recommendation from her family and I must say off the bat the food was almost on level with Las Adilitas for some excellent mexican food. However, the reason it got 3 stars was because the service was so rude and the kitchen messed our order not once but twice. It made me sad because after I tried to order a chicken quesadilla and the guy told me no he couldn't , then tried to upsell me one with lots of crap I didn't want in it for a lot more crowns. I simply was asking to add chicken to the existing cheese quesadilla as well as pay a bit more but only for chicken. To him this was "ridiculous" and he couldn't just add chicken to a cheese quesadilla. I was only allowed to order the chicken one with tons of things on it as well that I didn't want. Now to me this was bs customer service and clearly they target people that don't speak fluent czech. I also asked for tap water and of course he brings me botted...so this was all before our order was even put in. We also ordered nachos plain with salsa to start. We then get cheese nachos with no salsa. I order a plain cheese quesadilla and get salad and tomatoes and all this other stuff I asked to not have on my plate which I ended up throwing away. He eventually realized he messed everything I ordered and comes to our table telling us he is going to give us free salsa as long as we don;t complain (because he sucks at his job) so at this point I had already given up on this place. Too bad the nachos and REAL mexican cheese were close to heavenly otherwise I would have written this place off for good.

Menu says corn tortillas but we got served a mix of corn and flour tortillas. Nobody was allergic to gluten so this wasn't a problem, but combined with the bad service and mediocre tasting food, 2 star is the best I can offer.

Cantina is located a slight walk from the centre of town and is nearest to Legion Bridge. We ended up walking back into the town centre after the meal and it was quite a manageable stroll for us. When we arrived however the restaurant was packed and we ended up facing a very long wait for a tale or to take a seat at the bar. As I was famished we ended up choosing to sit at the bar and while it was a little cosy you ended up with a great view up and down the restaurant to see the décor and food coming out of the kitchen. I went for the slow-roasted beef taco in a blue corn soft taco shell. I have to say that words can barely describe how delicious this meal was but that it truly deserved the title of "the best Mexican you may ever have". To go with my taco I also ordered a tequila sunrise. The cocktail was nothing special but still well made. The services was friendly but quick as when I was at Cantina the restaurant was packed. I would happily return however for another meal and either book a table or go when I have the time to wait for a table as it would be nice to have a little longer to enjoy the meal without having to sit up at the bar.

Pretty nice place. Food is great service is great. Get the nachos sabrosos. Covered in cheese and chicken with a tasty salsa for a little bit of heat.

YES PLEASE!!!!!!!! Oh food gods of Mexican cuisine, you have blessed me finally with your presence here in Prague. I while I like Las Adalitas. I love Catina. The enchiladas where amazing, the quesidilla, heavenly, the margarita, shear perfection. It was all so good I didn't even mind having to sit at the bar to eat. Every thing was amazingly balanced between spicy and creamy. I am already jonesing for it again.

It smelled amazing and my heart was set on Mexican food from that point so we looked and found Alebrijes. It was right around the corner from the first place we tried so we decided to stop in and see if there was availability. First impression had me worried since there wasn't anyone sitting inside with the exception of a couple tables. It also didn't smell incredible at first like the previous restaurant we had walked into. When we walked in they mentioned they were also booked up but if we wanted to sit at the bar we could. When we took our seats, the staff told us they could sit us at a table if we wouldn't be longer than 2 hours since it was reserved for that time. It was perfect. We ordered some cocktails and an appetizer. That set us up for one of the best dinners we've had in Europe so far. We ordered a margarita and a Tajin cocktail. Both were amazing. The appetizer was quasadillas and taquitos with the most amazing tomatillo salsa I've ever had. It was so good. Dinner was pollo tostadas and poblano enchiladas. Both were incredible but the enchiladas were like nothing I've ever had. The flavor was so unique and different. I'll be dreaming about them for a while. The only downside to the whole meal were the churros for dessert. They were called churros but they weren't made with traditional choux pastry. They were tortillas filled with dulce de leche then rolled and fried. Good but not a typical churro. Overall, this was such an amazing meal. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We left feeling very satisfied and pleased with our restaurant choice.

I learned later that there are a few Burrito Loco locations but this one is in the middle of a good bar district, which means late-night eats are a must. The shop itself is very tiny... only maybe half a dozen people can stand there comfortably. So the line often goes out the door. It's not fancy or complicated. There are a handful of pretty basic options to choose from and a couple of drink options. They get bonus points for serving bottled Jaritos. Service was patient while we ordered and food was delivered pretty quickly. My husband got a burrito, which he did not finish (never a good sign). I got a bacon quesadilla, which seemed like a fairly safe option. It was OK. The bacon was really fatty. But it was hot, filled with cheese and made me not starving. So check. I DO think that if I had been out partying at a bar and needed something to scarf down at like 2 in the morning, Burrito Loco would be PERFECT. And I do think that is probably their busiest time of the day. So in that respect, this pace was totally perfect, don't change a thing. If you want an actually good burrito, though, maybe not...
