We were staying with family near the Ulandstrasse…read morestore, Wilmersdorf and because our family had done business at Bike Market in the past, we went there to buy a bike. We bought the bike and returned the next day because the seat was broken. Rather than accommodating us, the staff actually challenged our claim. The staff's rudeness was unparalleled to anything I've ever encountered and I've traveled extensively. They were likely anti- american and likely held other biases I wouldn't care to mention. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. There are many wonderful bike stores in Berlin and this one does not deserve your business. Please check out any Little John. FAR SUPERIOR in every way!!! This barely deserves one star.

Postponed deliveries not communicated by a call but just on place when expecting to actually pick one's bike up. Much hyped about but totally underperforming its otherwise good shop interior design, location and top of the cream assortment. VERY BAD. You might consider to actually buy your bike here but NEVER consider having it serviced. They seem not to have a proper workplace. My poor bike was kept in a storage room behind the card box of a TV that seems not even used on site (?). Having a more than 2.000 euros bike returned with scratches for no reason is UNACCEPTABLE.

Longer version (for the brave) - my friend has gave me his bicycle- the seat was too high and the lights were broken, as I'm completely clueless about these things I was sure wherever I'll go to someone will try to rip me off. A quick search has ended in this shop which is down the street, the seat was too high and my lights were really messed up, they re-wired the whole thing for a fair price. And lowered the seat a couple of times until I was pleased. Don't let the looks of the shop fool you - despite its "simpleness" the people who work here are nice and helpful, and they will answer your questions with patience and listen to your problems. Came back the day after as I thought it's not working, and I was a bit angry, but then realized the problem was me - as the Dynamo was just not touching the wheel because I didn't push it, silly me :) Anyway, got a quick explanation and even help with other bike- related issues I've had. They are the nicest team around, and if you have any problems, they are definitely the people to ask. Thanks for being awesome, thanks for all the help- keep up the good work!

On my first visit, I bought a bag and some easy wheels and talked at length with the store mechanic, who speaks German and English, and maybe even more languages. The second and third time I went I dropped off my bike for a tune up and a phone bracket, and I spoke at length with the owner about new ebike kits and the urban challenge. He's very helpful and well-informed in current brompton everything. Some people scoff at the thought of paying as much as a brompton costs. But if you truly invest yourself in a bike, it really does change the way you view biking and riding. Good design becomes more important. I'm the third owner of my bike, and after I got it back today from the tune up, it coasted longer than I was used to, and it didn't squeak the way I had become so used to hearing.
