The conditions and staff conduct I experienced were unacceptable and fell significantly below Radisson's published hospitality, sanitation, and service standards. Upon arrival, the front desk environment was visibly disorganized, with multiple upset guests present. The front desk representative, Kristen, appeared overwhelmed and frustrated. After being assigned my room, I discovered it was in a filthy condition and clearly had not been cleaned or properly prepared for occupancy. I made several attempts to contact the front desk and was repeatedly placed on hold without explanation. When I eventually reached Desire at the front desk, her demeanor was rude and condescending. She stated she had spoken with the General Manager, Chase, who directed her to contact a manager named Victoria. Desire advised that Victoria stated housekeeping was no longer available--despite it being only 5:00 p.m.--and that I would need to wait until the following morning for any corrective action. I was further advised that I could "go to another hotel." This response was unreasonable and dismissive. I am disabled, and due to the MLB Cactus League Spring Training, all surrounding hotels were fully booked. No alternative accommodations were available. The hotel therefore knowingly left me with no option but to remain in an unsanitary room. I was informed the room will not be clean. I requested clean sheets and basic cleaning supplies in an effort to address the situation myself. I was not requesting routine housekeeping services; I was requesting that my assigned room be properly cleaned before sleeping in it. I did not request a different room--only that my existing room be brought to an acceptable standard of cleanliness. For a Radisson property to place a guest in an unsanitary room and then refuse to correct the condition is unacceptable. Guests should never be placed in the position of requesting supplies to clean their own room or bedding. I had to change and clean myself. This incident reflects a serious breakdown in operational standards, guest service protocols, and management oversight. It represents a failure to meet Radisson brand standards for cleanliness, guest care, and accessibility, and constitutes a breach of the hotel's duty of care to provide safe and sanitary accommodations. read more

I stayed here for 2 nights recently and was really happy! My room was super comfortable and clean. The room was cleaned during my stay, which was nice. The fitness center offered exactly what I needed for a workout while away. They have a great restaurant and a breakfast buffet. My only reason for giving 4 stars is because others I was traveling with were staying in the same hotel and booked the same type reservation, however they were given breakfast coupons and I was not. Upon asking the front desk, they said the others shouldn't have gotten them initially. The staff ended up giving me a free voucher, which was nice. The front desk staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful, kind. Housekeeping did a wonderful job, both cleaning our room and respecting our privacy. The shuttle to and from the airport was top-notch. The pool area left A LOT to be desired. There were never towels for the pool area until the afternoon. If you took a morning swim or soak, bring your own. We were there from Wednesday through Sunday and although there was someone Thursday and Friday doing maintenance at the hot tub and pool area, the place was disgusting. Overflowing garbage. Clothing left from the night before. Crushed food on chairs. Spilled beverages on tables. Due to this, one morning there was a thick line of ants collecting crumbs to take back to their colony going right past the hot tub. Nobody was out cleaning up the area, despite an employee walking through the pool area. Saturday morning the area was trashed. Sunday morning there was a young woman openly smoking marijuana poolside and in the hot tub. I would love to give this hotel five stars but until they get the pool area situated, I can't. read more

Located near the Airport, the Radisson Hotel was a nice place to stay. The location is convenient, and the room and hotel were clean. Parking was good. The staff was nice. For the price, it was good. The bathroom was clean and in okay condition. The toilet flushes very slowly - not sure if it would work, but it did. The wallpaper in the room was peeling. Otherwise the room was comfortable, and everything else functioned well. Definitely would stay here again when in the area. The staff was nice at the front desk at check in. In the morning there wasn't staff at the desk, but a sign indicated where to drop your room keys. The pool area was nice. The drinks in the vending machines were priced reasonably. Horrific - The seats and pool flooring are rough and made with pebbles. Jacuzzi looks big but has only 4 jets that are weak. The room's air conditioning/heating unit needed repair -Never happened after 2 calls every day for 4 days. The toilet handle was broken. Staff -Lazy, Abusive and more concerned about applying lip gloss than their guests. Breakfast buffet NO COFFEE. The hallways for the rooms stank. They have some fragrance on an automatic sprayer that smells like cheap men's aftershave. You can taste it. No Maid service in 4 days of stay. They double charged me for the room and extra charges after we checked out, even though we cleaned our room, made the beds, cleaned the bathroom and dumped the trash every day. Such a waste of money. Deposits always come back as a credit on bank accounts, my bank had also confirmed deposits were never released nor allocated to me. $36 in duplicate charges for snacks - do not purchase while you're there! Overcharged for my stay, as they tell you it's a certain rate and then charge extra taxes without making you aware of said charges. Fraud & theft! Choice hotels, their guest relations, will not assist and only state there's noting they can do supposedly because they just integrated their payment systems & don't have access to charges. Management, assistant manager and manager, refused to assist - only stating to seek legal and they're not going to do anything. My family and I had a terrible flight experience but American gave us a voucher for a hotel. We got here with a horrible taxi driver so I assumed something else to go bad. The main desk guy was so helpful and nice and even jokes around with us. He got us in and out fast which is what we wanted after a long day. The hotel itself was so clean and quiet. Although they had a full house every guest we encountered going to our room was so nice and said hi. The room was clean and up to date on technology. I loved it here. If we ever come back to phoenix which I hope not because I can't stand this weather we will definitely be staying here. I regret having to write this review, as I have witnessed the decline in service at this hotel over the past year. I typically stay for three days every four months while traveling for work. Unfortunately, my recent stay in June will be my last reservation. During this stay, the bathroom sink (Room 201) would not drain. I called the front desk immediately after checking in, and the response I received was laughable: "Sir, wait a few minutes, and the sink will drain." I initially thought it was a joke, but it was not. Furthermore, despite my repeated requests, my room was not made up once during my three-day stay. Given the abundance of hotel options in the area, I advise against staying at the Radisson Phoenix Airport. Regrettably, based on the reviews, it appears they have lost another customer. P.S. Called an hour before we booked, asked if the wifi was working, front desk man says yes. By the time we arrive, somehow the Cox service went out just in this hotel...my wife required it to finish working. Had to use my phone as a hot spot so she could work...ridiculous. Bed was lumpy and old. Walls had water damage and the wallpaper was falling off. Bar/Cafe closed at 8 pm and the front doors locked at 10 pm just like the dorms as a kid, wth. Staff was nice other then the wifi issue. Walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbors TV and conversation. The streets around here are filled with drugged out zombies, be careful at the store. read more

Very average hotel. From the breakfast to the rooms, this is a hotel that just gets the job done. Nothing amazing but can't complain. Close to the airport which is convenient. Staff is nice but English was not a common language spoken at this hotel. Hardwood floors in rooms were nice. The shower was very odd because it made me feel like Elf when he has to crouch to get under the shower head. Pillows were miniature size but they got the job done. Had a nice stay at this Radisson over a month ago. This location is very convenient to flyers, around 10 minutes or less from the airport. The shuttle goes by the airport every 15 minutes or so and is available as early as 4 AM. Majority of the amenities were closed during my visit due to Covid. The pool was open, but I didn't get a chance to take a look. Social distancing was enforced with floor markers, the staff wore masks, and sanitizer was available. I booked a king bed for one night. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Decor was modern and minimalistic throughout. It had a flat screen TV, hardwood floors, and standard amenities. I slept like a baby! The staff was very nice and helpful. Check in and check out went smoothly. Would stay again if in the area. read more

The Radisson Phoenix airport is a disappointing property on many levels. Check in, although efficient, was lacking any kind of personal charm or welcome. This was disappointing considering Radisson usually has a rather warm and inviting staff. That can be overlooked if the hotel is spot on for the rest of the stay. Unfortunately that was not the case. Getting up to our room we noticed there were no washcloths in the bathroom. when calling the front desk nobody answers. We tried the front desk the housekeeping and the operator. We never could get washcloths. As a Hotels.com Silver Member Radisson has negotiated to provide a free hot breakfast buffet in the morning. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were told that we would need to get vouchers from the front desk. No big deal, we dec seed the front desk where we are informed that although they advertise that they are not providing meals anymore. That we could purchase a Breakfast for $16 in person plus tax. The clerk states that there is a sign right there and he is correct is stated the price at the restaurant entrance, but no information that they were not honoring the free breakfast as advertised. We showed the desk like a reservation where it mentions the free breakfast and says that we will receive it, however he refused. Other issues with the room included mold and mildew in the shower, walls and doors with peeling wood and paint and a sink that would not drain. All in all a very very disappointing stay out what must be one of the worst Radisson hotels anywhere. I highly recommend you do not stay at this joint. read more

However, I have been trying to get a copy of my hotel receipt, as it wasn't emailed to me upon checkout despite my request. Where should I start? Booked my room through a third party, and when I arrived, I provided the desk clerk my print out confirmation showing I had booked 2 rooms. He clearly stated it's showing one room on his end and he recommended me calling the travel agency I booked under. He was helpful, however, after I called and I noticed on my paperwork had my two room confirmation- one room in my name and the other in my son's. I was already on the phone for 30 minutes, I walked back down to the desk clerk and informed him of the findings. I asked if he could please check the second room under my son's name and sure enough hallelujah! After me asking repeatedly requesting joint connecting rooms and then the desk clerk stating they have plenty of rooms but yet unable to honor that. It was just very misleading and felt that I was being rushed and not being heard. I proceeded to request a shuttle service for 3 AM and when I went to the front desk to ask for my shuttle, they could not locate my name. I happen to glance at some paperwork on the counter and found my name and the desk clerk with attitude, said they wrote it on the wrong sheet. I will tell you this, the older gentleman driving the shuttle provided patience and carried a great conversation. Shuttle service from airport to hotel vise versa phenomenal. What lacks is patience and the sense of urgency when a customer is concerned. The rooms were nice however my tv remote didn't work. I didn't want to bother asking the desk clerk. You know when you feel you're inconveniencing someone. You literally walk up to the counter and lacked that welcoming feeling. The distance to the airport less than five minutes. Beware of the circle k that's right down the street (zombie apocalypse), there's homeless hanging around there. I had to be cautious getting gas. I'm currently in this Radisson Hotel. My first thought when we entered the room was that it is a nice room with no carpets. After spending an evening with a little time to absorb the room I noticed that was not the only thing the room was lacking. Only one chair, no desk (a table with no drawers but nothing to put in a drawer). No note pad, no pen or pencils, no place in the bathroom to put toiletries, the closet is a "box" on the wall. There is a (one) bathtowel and no washcloths in the bathroom. On the plus side, we're on the 4th floor with a parking lot view. I would describe the room as an upgraded Motel 6. The $15 pp breakfast is about the same as what is provided as complimentary in other hotel/motels. We opted to go to First Watch for a fresh cooked breakfast for $21 for both of us. One final comment: This hotel provides extended parking with one nights stay and an additional parking fee of $7/night We have paid the nightly charge of $209 + tax and other miscellaneous fees one of which is,$100 just in case we do damage to the hotel. read more

November 2023 I have stayed at this property several times as it is close to the airport and fairly clean. My latest trip was booked through Hotels.com and paid for with points. Nevertheless, I was charged the full price of the room by the hotel. I reached out to the General Manager, who attempted to credit the payment to my card. Instead, I was charged again for the same full amount. After nearly two weeks of phone calls to him, I have not yet been called back or reimbursed for the second charge. WARNING: WEAR A BATHING SUIT YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT!!!!! My trip started off badly and ended badly but the in-between was not that bad. I fell in the tub so badly my teenager wanted to call 911 and they got me a shower mat the very next morning. The damage was done on top of an already damaged back but I didn't have to worry about a second time. The GM took a report and was incredibly apologetic and kept asking me if I needed to go to a doctor. The front desk staff Ophelia and Desiree are really nice and friendly. They gave us ideas to kill time and what to see. Ophelia was able to get me a better rate than what I originally paid. The security was friendly and offered places to eat. I'm not entirely sure what his position was but he was really nice but I can't remember his name. The food is terrible and certainly not worth $15. I didn't get anything from the bar other than a Shirley temple but she was nice enough. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping doesn't come every day so if you fill your trash can, leave it outside to be emptied. The hot tub destroyed a brand new bathing suit I bought my daughter. She went in with a bright white and blue butterfly bathing suit but came out with a yellowed and the butterflies mostly faded out. I don't know what chemicals are used but the effects are permanent and I don't think they will reimburse me either. For $16 I expected more. 8:30am on a Friday. The eggs are soaking wet. Bacon and sausage were oily and needed to be refilled. Pastries were stale and dry. Fruit needed to be refilled and cottage cheese was empty. Hostess was pleasant but most tables were dirty. At 9:55am they turned off the restaurant lights and we finished our coffee in the dark. TERRIBLE experience. Hotel is nice, modern, and clean with large rooms, but I have never had such a bad experiences with front desk staff. After taking my ID & credit card, Juan at the front desk proceeded to work at his computer for 10+ minutes completely ignoring me. No eye contact, "sorry for the hold up", or any information. Just standing there not looking at me, then calling over a manager who *also* completely ignored me. When I asked them "Hey guys, it's been over ten minutes - what's going on?", the manager responded very curtly telling me to be patient and saying that a credit card used to reserve my room was showing up as declined. A few minutes later, he finally handed me key cards with no mention of my room number. I had to ASK him which room I was in, to which he responded "It's written inside the envelope". As I walked away, he sarcastically said to my back, "Have a great day". I'm Asian American - I don't want to make this a "race thing", but reading other reviews below, it seems like other guests of color have encountered similar poor customer service experiences that they also wonder may be racially motivated. My wife and I flew in for a concert to Phoenix for one delightful night stay at this hotel. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel vibe was extremely cozy, our room was spotless and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The complimentary shuttle pick up, our smooth hotel check in / hotel check out and our complimentary shuttle back to the airport was all handled with grace and professionalism by a gentleman named Johnathan. They are by far the best "by the airport" hotel we've stayed at in all of our travel's of all the cities we've stayed in. The rooms weren't the cleanest, the bathroom shower was clogged as well as mold/ rust on the ceiling from water leaking through from a room above us. Also, when they told me it's a $100 hold on my card they charged me the full $280 as a "hold" when I paid online in advance. I contacted the manager and she basically said there was nothing they could do and it was a mistake since the guy at the front desk was new. Now I have to wait up to 10 business days for the money to get back into my account. The staff is polite, but that doesn't make up for the dirtiness of the room and the mistakes. For the price you don't even get complimentary breakfast BOOOO! The only good thing I have to say is about the pool which was spacious and nice to dip in after a long day of traveling. Other than that, I wouldn't stay here again or recommend to anyone. UPDATE: I contacted my bank because $180 was processed and posted from the $280 "hold". I am highly upset right now and I would steer clear from this hotel unless you want to get scammed! They are no help what so ever and now I have to go through a whole dispute process with my bank when I shouldn't have to because the hotel messed up! This was a perfectly located hotel for our late night flight into Phoenix. The check in was fine and the room was very clean and spacious. We had a king sized bed which was comfortable. The best thing about this hotel were the floors. No carpet! One of the other nice things were all the plugs for electronics. One weird thing is the bathroom light comes on automatically. Stayed here with my 16 year old daughter for 2 nights for the Boy Pablo concert at The Van Buren. The hotel was in great proximity to every place we set out to see. The staff was welcoming and the room was nice and clean but the toilet just would not flush properly. It was the most annoying experience ever. I could've asked for assistance but decided to tough it out for 2 nights. We didn't try the restaurant on site but we did find the hotel to be comfortable and peaceful. Didnt hear conversation through the walls or walking above us. If you want a nice view of the city, do NOT stay in room 230. We only had a view of the rooftop of what may have been the banquet hall. It wasn't pretty but we didn't come for the view so it didn't bother us too much. read more
