The hotel wasn't worth the $200+ per night price tag. The common areas seemed neglected. The walls are paper thin and unfortunately the guests next to us were very loud at times. Scuffed and stained elevators, peeling paint, and rusty bathtub drained. For the price point, I expected at least better cleanliness. I'm glad I only stayed one night. I wouldn't be writing a two-star review if this was like $75 per night, because you know, you get what you pay for. Hotel room seemed clean but definitely a bit run down. There is a pool, hot tub and sauna. Plus close walking distance to everything. The room its self was nice but the bathroom toilet seat was peeling, hallways tore up and was not sure if the elevator was going to make it each time up and down. I wouldn't mind an older room but the price which did include dog cost and tax was over $400 for one night. I would stay here if in a pinch but definitely not if there are any other options available. read more

This place is so gross. It's not very clean, very expensive and smells VERY strongly of cigarettes. The rooms are hot and the bathrooms haven't gotten a deep clean since this place opened. All the hotel parking lots were full so we were told to park in a specific lot, but that lot had a "no hotel parking" sign... There are some walkable things near the hotel that make the location worth it, but outside of that I wouldn't recommend. read more

Hello, we just checked out after a 2 day stay. We arrived and were able to check in early, this was appreciated. When we got in room 1105, we were met with disappointment that led to a closer look at room . Included are the pictures I took. This is not my first stay with the hotel . We made reservations through Expedia for a two night stay at the Radisson Hotel Duluth-Harborview on November 1, 2025. We were told before we booked that because they were advertised as a pet friendly hotel cats were ok to bring. We were told 3 times that this was the case. We booked the hotel which cost us $420.62. We arrived at the hotel about 4:00 pm on November 28 . When we said we had our cat with us the general manager, Jordan Dols, said they only allow dogs not cats. He was very adamant that we could not stay and would have to leave. We had just driven 2 hours from St. Cloud, it was 25 degrees and a wind chill, and it was dark outside. We are in our mid 70's and he was throwing us out with no place to go. I had even offered to pay a $500.00 deposit knowing we would get it back since our cat is 11 years old and wouldn't make a mess. Talk about a modern day Scrooge! He said, "If I make an exception for you and people find out I will have to do it for everyone." We spent almost 2 hours in his lobby trying to get hold of a rep. from Expedia with no avail. He said we would have to go through Expedia to get our money back. He was not going to do it. If he didn't like Expedia why is he continuing to get reservations through them? We had to book another reservation at Hotel 6 in Duluth. The hotel staff there was excellent and very accommodating. Our credit card company got our money back for us. Jordan Dols, was in my opinion, a very arrogant, unprofessional, want-a-be manager who doesn't have any customer service credentials. He left a bad impression on the hotel. What was suppose to be a wonderful holiday experience turned out to be a disaster. We ended coming home the next day. read more

An impromptu trip brought us here. I remember seeing it from the road another time. They have a cool lobby with art deco type furniture. Parking was good except the evening of a wedding. We stopped by to check in and there were no carts. We checked in and came back later to load up the room. The room was a little odd, that the bathroom is sideways. You open the door and lined up is the toilet, sink, shower. Although tight it worked and was very practical for a small bathroom. It's directly next to the closet. I liked the products. I was disappointed that Apostle Supper Club is no longer the revolving restaurant so we didn't go to what they had. In the morning the lobby has coffee, a big thing of water with a spout, but the water was room temp. A lot of folks staying for some sports event. Don't recall the bed or other things cause we were so busy. I look forward to another visit. read more

I stayed at this hotel on Sunday May 12th. There is a sign in the parking ramp stating you park at your own risk. I parked in the ramp, my doors were locked, someone still got into my car and went through it. I went to the front desk and explained what happened. The person at the front desk informed me there are no cameras there. What if someone got mugged or worse. Safety should be the main concern. This is a Radisson and was disappointed. read more

Dry air, hard bed, thin walls, and an unapologetic manager who made no concessions. $247 for a very sleepless night, a quick Google search reveals that this is the lowest rated hotel in Duluth. Talk about service!! There is not a single unfriendly employee at this hotel, they do everything they can to go past above and beyond service. The Legends Suite had a phenomenal view of Bentleyville and Canal Park. The restaurant had terrific food and the revolving floor added a cool ambiance. Our waitress, Candace, made a dinner experience that was like no other. This is my absolute favorite place to staycation. Would undoubtedly recommend to anyone looking for a first-class, five star experience for less. read more

We stayed here for a weekend due to a military ball event that was taking place at the hotel. The hotel is quite outdated, carpet is grungy and stained. The elevators take forever and sound very rickety... it was a rainy weekend so when we spent time in our room, we turned on the TV. It's just basic cable & there is no guide. I even called the front desk for a paper guide option and she had no clue what I was talking about. The only outlet in the bathroom is so old and outdated that nothing stays plugged in. It just falls right out. Plus the hair dryer (they supplied in the room), kept tripping the breaker so it was unusable in the bathroom. Had to go plug it in by the bed with a power strip thats glued to the side table. The restaurant at the top floor (harbor 360) is absolute garbage. Please walk somewhere else to go get your food. You can look for my review separately for the restaurant. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. Especially not for your event. Do not let the restaurant cater either. One positive is that it is close to canal Park & parking itself is easy to access. read more

Found this hotel on hotels.com as I had a $100 credit for staying 10 nights. We were in town for a concert at DECC. The room was already paid in advance but we had to do a $100 credit card deposit for incidentals. This hotel is dated as its from the 1970's. The hotel is also round. Attached are 2 photos. Unsure if the toilet so close to the door is up to code. Literally 1" door to stool. The microwave placement was really low to the floor too. The doors were really heavy and made a slamming sound when you closed them. The room was clean, had a comfortable bed, quiet. Nice view of Lake Superior in the distance. We took the skyway to DECC. Some lady took a chance at availability and paid $250 a night. The cool thing of this hotel is Minnesota's only revolving dining room with views of Lake Superior. Parking was free. Front desk staff was nice. Room includes a fridge, microwave and Keurig. read more

My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. Unfortunately this is what we could afford and we wanted to make the best of it! Keep in mind, we've stayed at 6 other hotels in Duluth. The issues you'll read about, we have never experienced elsewhere. Let's go to day one of our trip, our arrival! We had a wonderful drive up, excited to spend our first wedding anniversary together in our favorite city! We got to the hotel early, we were informed through Expedia that we could check in early (this was the only successful part of our check in). My husband went inside the hotel to check in while I started to unpack our car and he called me saying that they were requiring we pay completely upfront for our stay. At every hotel we have stayed at in Duluth, other than here, that was never required. Expedia informed us that that would not be happening as well! So come to find out we're needing to pay completely up front on top of a $100 deposit (also something no hotel we've stayed at ever asked us for). I suffer with anxiety so this was not a great start to our trip as it caused multiple unnecessary panic attacks. We end up needing to put the payments on two different cards, however they didn't tell us the grand total of what we were paying for that day nor did they offer us a receipt of what we were being charged for the day of arrival. We get our keys, waited 15 minutes at the elevator just to go up to our room, and once we got to our room, we were not thrilled. The bathroom was dusty and the toilet seat was literally peeling off and yellowed. I don't even want to think about how many people have used it but if it were clean and didn't look disgusting, it wouldn't have been an issue. The shower had mold growing in the grout between the tiles. Our show curtain was yellowed and pink and the bathroom floor just Also!!! There was no fan in the bathroom. (Side note: when we reviewed our stay on the email they sent us, we made note of the fan in the bathroom not being operational just for the manager to tell us that every room has an operational fan. Thank you for calling us liars and refusing to check on the room that you put us in). Our bed was fine, very old and uncomfortable but what can you expect from a hotel whose manager does not care about the quality of a stay there. We decided to drive over to canal park to relax and stick our feet in the lake. Since it was our first night we decided to go enjoy ourselves at the rooftop bar upstairs in the hotel. We go up, nobody was there to serve us. I'll post a review over on the restaurants page for the terrible service we received there. Overall we waited a half an hour from receiving our check just for our waitress to talk and hang out with her coworkers RIGHT IN FRONT OF EVERYONE DINING IN! After that 30 minutes she came over grabbed our card and charged us. Never ever going back there again. We went back to our room and could hear everything happening in the rooms around us. Not one for negative reviews normally, I'm very much not impressed with this Radisson. The room was not clean upon arrival. We didn't arrive early; we got in at around 7:00pm. There was long hair in the tub, shower walls, and bathroom floor. There were crumbs on the floor. There was even a pair of dirty socks left from a previous guest we have a bellhop take away. It was dark when I got into bed as I'm traveling with a little one and he was already in bed, but when I awoke the next morning, I found my bed had someone's long hair all through it. (Wasn't mine as I have a pixie cut.) Also, the pillows were all extremely used and flat. The mattresses were also very concave and worn out. I went to the pool to find the pool lining bubbling up which made it look neglected. After swimming I took a shower in my room and found the temperature would switch back and forth from hot to cold. I ended up just taking a cold shower so as not to burn myself. In addition to that, the shower nozzle was old and very hard to move and would get stuck in position. I had to have my husband adjust it. The sink had mold around the drain. One swipe with a tissue removed it easily. (See photo) The toilet lid hinges are filthy with urine and dust. (See photo) The shower curtain is moldy and pink. (See 2 photos) There's no excuse for that kind of neglect. The walls are very thin. It's not that I could just hear the water in the pipes for the shower next door, it's that I could hear that guest splashing water against the wall. (And whoever you are next door: your 3 minute shower was pretty impressive!) A suggestion would be to have more than one tiny rusted trash can per room. I realize that this is due to the cylindrical architecture of the building, but the bathrooms are extremely tiny. The door barely clears the toilet by about a half inch making it impossible to open or close the door while the toilet is in use. (See photo) That's more of a problem when traveling with young kids. Side note concerning the bathrooms: though the room is, they aren't updated. The kind of neglect we found here is both unhealthy and unacceptable. I didn't bother to look up reviews before purchasing a room here because Radisson has a great reputation; however that reputation does not extend to this facility. Beware of room 538 It rained our first night and our ceiling started leaking right onto the bed. There was a dog barking next door most of the night and the smell of marijuana in the hall way. We were moved to the 7th floor for our next night. Got to the room and it had never been cleaned. We were then moved to the 11th floor. The rooms had stains and peeling paint. We were told we could have breakfast at the revolving restaurant upstairs. It was Saturday morning and we were told we had to big of a party (5 adults and 2 kids) but they were able to accommodate the 2 groups of 4 that were seated after us. We went to a movie due to the bad weather and when we got back from the movie there was no parking available. We were told we had to park across the street in a completely unsecured lot. After everything we were refunded $50. I would give this hotel a ZERO if I could. read more

This pet friendly hotel is located in the heart of downtown Duluth! A very walkable location for seeing canal park and the lake walk! Our puppy being a puppy of course was getting into things he shouldn't and within 5 minutes of being in our room found three trash items not picked up by the cleaning crew. We are so used to getting things out of his mouth, it was fine -- thank god it wasn't something toxic for him though in a pet friendly hotel.. The room was fine, we were told it was a more spacious area of the hotel which seemed odd because it felt anything but. This wasn't a big deal to us because we were just there to sleep and didn't need some over the top suite. We were in the square part of the hotel - no view of the lake - and would take our puppy out to relieve himself at the upper part of the parking ramp. There were cigarette buts everywhere and even chicken wings the second night, which of course my dog wanted to eat and that was frustrating to walk by. I'm not sure I would stay there again but it wouldn't warm anyone else to stay away because it wasn't a terrible experience. We just have friends in the area with an extra room for next time. We slept fine, the staff when we did interact with them were friendly and if was a conveniently located room at a reasonable price. If you're going to Duluth with your pet, it's an okay place to stay! read more

Bed bugs!!! Both my wife and I were bit in our sleep staying in room 1504 on May 6-7, 2022. The morning of the 7th, we both woke up with itchy raised red bumps showing up in clusters on the lower half of our bodies. We documented all of this with with our phone cameras. We searched the room for signs of bed bugs around the bed, but the headboard was attached to the wall and difficult to see behind. We didn't find anything, but we were also focused on getting out of the room as quickly as possible. Regardless, we both woke up with numerous bites after sleeping in this room. Based on this we strongly suspect bed bugs. Fleas are another possibility. We told the staff immediately. They were kind and quickly transferred us to room 611 (I'm mentioning the room #'s in case somebody really has to stay here for some reason - although likely best to avoid those floors altogether.) We asked for a refund, but the young lady at the desk said that we would have to contact the hotel manager about it and gave us his card. We canceled the plans we made for the last day of our trip so that we could have extra time at home to decontaminate our belongings. Everything we brought was either tossed, frozen, or washed/dried on high heat. We tried to be extra cautious given how difficult bed bugs are to eradicate once they get established. The process was not fun. We are still worried that we might have inadvertently brought whatever this was home with us. So far (after two days) we haven't seen any signs of these critters or any new bites. We assumed it would be a pretty simple thing getting a refund for what was a horrible experience, but it turned out not to be the case. I emailed the hotel manager, Jordan Dols, that day when we got back home. I described to him what we experienced and asked for a refund. His initial response was to tell us that his "Pest control vendor" found nothing and that he couldn't issue us a refund unless they actually found bugs in the room. He then proceeded to gaslight us by saying, "With it being spring in Duluth, it is possible that you picked up bites in any number of places." Unbelievable. We woke up with bites in YOUR hotel room!!! They weren't there the night before (I won't explain how I know this, but you all can use your imagination.) Anyways, after several back and forth emails with Jordan, I gave up. I also contacted the @rhacareteam account on Twitter, but they basically said there was nothing they could do and they had to go with Jordan's decision. Jordan did reply a day after his initial reply showing me the invoice he received from Guardian Pest Solutions. The invoice basically stated that they looked around the bed and in some dark places, but did not conduct a thorough K9 search of the room or the floor. A K9 inspection is really the only near-certain way to detect these bugs since they can live inside of ceiling and wall cavities. Bed bugs have a range of up to 20' from their nests, so the infestation could really be anywhere on the 15th floor, or possibly in the rooms or spaces above or below the 1504 room. Jordan has so far shown no interest in searching the floor for the infestation. Again, I'll repeat - Something bit us up while we stayed in room 1504. This we know for certain. Whether it was bed bugs, fleas, spiders, or some other parasite, we still experienced discomfort and a massive inconvenience because we stayed here. There were other issues with the hotel, most have been mentioned in other reviews so I won't repeat them. Some reviews mentioned finding other insect infestations. Edit: My wife and I were looking through more reviews and discovered that some people mentioned finding blood on the sheets and beds upon arrival. This could also be a sign of bed bugs feasting on a prior host. I'll never visit this hotel again. I'll never stay with Radisson again either. I'd rather camp outside on a 20 degree day than sleep in their infested hotels. read more

This place is sad. I regret staying and eating here. You can easily see where it was once a grand hotel, which makes the owner and managerial neglect of the place all the more poignant. The location and architecture are awesome. It has a revolving restaurant and innovative overall design. But it's been extremely neglected. You can see decade upon decade of quick inexpensive and short sighted fixes that in have resulted in a mix up of styles. Warping wall paper, foot-worn carpet, and painted plywood over holes in ceilings. It's dirty to the point of layer upon layer of grime. Our room had unidentified blobs on the windows, which clearly haven't been washed inside or out for years. Same for the restaurant. A beautiful view that is marred by dirty windows, grimy windowsills (painted black so months of dust and table crumbs stand out even more), and tacky blue gloss paint on the walls. The acoustics in the restaurant were horrible due to all the hard surfaces and cheap industrial worn carpet. There were numerous printer paper signs posted, like you'd find in a back woods truck stop. For example, the women's rest-room had one telling you how to run the (long) broken towel dispenser. Decor looked like it was a mash up accumulation across decades of staff donations. The menu was dated, unhealthy, and food tasted bland. For $350 a night I couldn't believe the situation. Add to this I'd never go out past dark there based on the view of the street life from our room. Not safe. read more

Great hotel! I'm honestly confused by the other negative reviews? I couldn't find anything wrong if I tried to be honest. But the hotel recently did a renovations so I dunno? It looks amazing! Rooms are very clean and updated. Beautiful! Toiletries are nice and not cheap. My son was excited to get a loofah lol. We had no issue with elevators or the wait time. Pool was big and warm. Plenty of towels available. Restaurant is really fun and yummy. A must see. Parking was easy too. I won a free night stay off fb for a valentines contest so even tho this is as a free night we were highly impressed. We already talked about staying here when we come for Bentlyville! We had the most amazing room view as well. I was so nervous since I did win this night we'd have the worst room in the building. It's safe to say we more likely got one of the best! Checking in and out was quick, easy, and courteous. I didn't interact with the staff much, but they were friendly. My room on the 9th floor didn't have a stellar view, but it was nice. Very clean room. Decor felt up to date (a lot more updated than other reviewers commented). The downside is the noise. You can't review a hotel based on the guests also staying there, but these people were LOUD. You can hear hallway noise, the elevator, doors slamming, people running water, toilets flushing, not actual words but you can here tones of a conversation. I did not sleep well. The parking lot is a little janky. Dim lighting. the second level gives coverage for smokers so there are cigarette butts everywhere. Probably wouldn't stay again especially considering this was barely cheaper than other hotels read more

Oh no, don't do it if you can help it. We stayed here for two nights with our dog for a family wedding. This place was packed with families. We never bothered trying the pool because it was full to the brim at all times. Drunk people loitering in the lobby loudly at night and because the building is shaped like a beer can, every floor is loud and you can hear everything. The elevator wait was literal hell. They knew we had a dog long before we arrived and we were on one of the upper levels, getting her in and out to potty felt like it took hours. I tried using a hidden employee elevator that wasn't marked but it was full and they wouldn't let me in, they directed me to the guest one as if I didn't know where it was or they didn't know how busy it was... Anyway, the room was decent. The bathroom could have been more clean. I am happy they allow dogs but they could be way more accommodating. Cost is too high for what you get read more

The worst. Period. We stayed here because it was a room block for a wedding we attended and then upon entering the room I immediately saw brown (poop) stains on the hand towels. Sorry let me start over.. when we first arrive the key card system was down so we couldn't even check in. Anyway, we go to the rooftop bar area and order just to find out it's cash only. Sweet. Just ordered $100 of drinks and food and don't have cash. My husband had to walk a mile down the road to get cash cause guess what.. the ATM was empty. Stains all over the ceiling, greasy fingerprints all over the windows, spiderwebs in all corners of the room, a filthy bathroom and a leather couch with lipstick/blush and a "sticky substance" which I can only imagine the source. When bringing the photos to the front, we were at first told that there were no rooms that we could be moved to - and that they could give us some cleaning supplies to clean the room ourselves. My wife and I stayed at the Radisson Hotel for 2 nights and we had a great experience! It's a strange time of year to visit Duluth. (It was -16 degrees the night we checked in!) But we were excited to try out a vintage mid-century modern hotel and the tallest cylindrical hotel in Minnesota! We lucked out and got an inexpensive room on Priceline. And even better, our room ended up being on the 7th floor with a great view of the lake! DESIGN: According to what I read, the hotel was designed by William Tabler Architects (they designed over 400 hotels). Construction was completed in 1969 and it officially opened in 1970. In addition to being a big cylinder, it features a revolving restaurant on the top 16th floor! (It really makes me miss the revolving "Le Carousel" restaurant in St. Paul, which closed in 2006.) REVIEWS: I don't agree with most of the negative reviews. It seems like 80 percent of them are cry baby whiners. And the remaining 20 percent were complaining about legitimate maintenance problems and logistical mistakes. Staying at a vintage hotel, my wife and I definitely don't expect everything to be perfect. The place is 48 years old. But everything needs to work. And everything was fantastic for us. PARKING: I saw a few people complain about parking. We had NO problems parking whatsoever. We came and went many times at various times of the day. There's a 2 level parking ramp built into the hill. If that fills up, there's more parking close by. They also have a shuttle that goes back-n-forth from Canal Street and the Duluth Airport. ROOMS: The elevators traveling in the center of the building are interesting. It's a big cylinder, right? The rooms are on the perimeter, like spokes on a wheel. We thought our room was very nice. It had a sleek, gray & white, angular, modern, clean looking design - very nice! Everything worked well. Everything in the bathroom was good. The water was hot and the pressure was good. There are a bunch of cable channels available on the TV. The king size Sleep Number bed was interesting. The main thing it did was convince me that that i would NEVER in a million years drop 5 grand on a Sleep Number bed! AMENITIES: There's an awesome revolving restaurant, bar, & lounge (JJ Astors) on the top floor - of course! There's a blue collar type bar (Bowery) with pool tables in the basement. They have a large pool, a huge hot tub, and a sauna in the adjacent annex. There's a fitness center on the 2nd floor that's way better than normal. It actually has a nice set of weights that goes up to 50 pounds. Wi-Fi is good but there's also a "business center" computer & printer in the lobby lounge area. Vending & ice is normal. No guest laundry in the hotel...but they'll send out your dry cleaning if you need it. STAFF: The staff were all very nice!!! They're friendly in a casual, blue collar type manner that I'm very familiar with having grown up in Minnesota. No pretentious stuff here - just friendly folks. We wouldn't hesitate to come back! I hope a lot of people choose to stay at the Radisson Hotel. But I hope they come with a patient attitude and realize this is a vintage hotel. I also hope that Radisson management works out their problems and figures out how to eliminate the logistical mistakes that seem to be pretty common and have plagued other guests. I'm tempted never to lodge at a Radisson, any Radisson, ever again. I certainly shall never stay at the Duluth Radission. A couple of weeks ago, I rented two rooms at the Harborview, one for myself and one for a friend who'd once worked there, met his first wife, Duluth, where there first child was conceived. I was happy to have escaped Governor Walz's stetewide corona virus house arrest for a couple of days. Our stay was filled with memories, emotions and redemption as our negative memories floated away and we redeemed special memories. The Radisson, once a place to be in Duluth is stuck in a 70s funk, in desperate need of a facelift. What was once really cool about the hotel is now just old, dated, tired and shabby. Still, I'm a seasoned traveler and can appreciate second and third rate hotels and motels if the the staff is dedicated to providing a guest with a great experience. The plexiglass shield on the check in desk may be a necessary evil, but it was cheap and badly installed communication the Radisson's first message, 'During the Coronavirus 19 virus scare, we just don't give a damn. My advice to the Radisson is that you've forgotten that your guests are the reason you have a viable business, lock your doors and never open again. I have a message for your desk staff, 'I'm sorry I was such a pain in your ass. I'm sorry I presented myself, Typhoid Mary, a clear and present danger to your business.' Not so long ago, I'd a Holiday Inn had offered to comp my room for a night because their staff hadn't made up my room. I didn't accept their generous offer, because my message had been received and I was sure they'd work harder to serve their guests. When I checked out and expressed my disappointment that my room hadn't been made up, the response was 'oh, we're not making up rooms during the pandemic.' My reaction was, 'this is total bullshit.' The desk clerk, rather than offering me an apology, a coupon, or maybe a comped night, responded, 'At least we kept you safe,' which is complete bullshit. If the Radisson's service is no more and certainly less than Motel Six, where there's a relationship between spartan service and inexpensive prices, be honest, that you're not providing ANY service of a first rate hotel and I'll check into the Motel Six. I know little about the motel/hotel business, but quickly thought of ways to improve service. First, offer to delivery alcohol to guest rooms. One of the reasons I stay at better hotels is to have a drink at the bar rather than lugging a six-pack into a Motel Six. Use you liquor license to advantage. We were offered a stripped down Denny's like menu. Are you kidding? I stay at a first class hotel to eat first class food. Why not bring in your best chef and make available great food? Make up the rooms!!! Give me the choice as to whether staff can enter my room. Staff can wear masks and gloves. Don't give me the bullshit that you're protecting my health. You've cut staff to save money which benefits your bottom line and screws me. If you're telling the truth, and you're not, at least try serving guest rooms. Create a checklist of what's needed; toilettries, coffee, bed linen, etc. and have staff drop the items outside of my guest room. Don't make me chase down to the front desk and dance a fandango rounding up the minimums of a first class stay. A business that gives up on its guest during crisis is not worthy of my business when life returns to a sunny normal. read more

Horrible Customer Service! Elevators and Entire Hotel and Room are So Out Dated!!! We have stayed here many times over the last 33 years. It's been about 4 years since we've stayed. We Will Never Go Back. Beware when you book!!! read more

Don't Stay in the hotel! Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary and we had a terrible night, we asked for extra pillows because there was only to tiny ones on the bed and they were uncomfortable but the front desk said they didn't have any. The next morning we woke up with neck and shoulder pain we went straight home when we were planning on spending the day at the lake. We live in St. Paul. The restaurant was great but the hotel service is terrible and the elevators take forever. Then they tell us they DID have extra pillows when we're checking out so they just didn't want to bring them up. read more

Between staying here and a tent... choose the tent. $137 for a Tuesday night in room 315. Desk guy kept me waiting for 10 minutes answering phones when we first arrived. Got into our room and noticed the bedskirts on both beds were eye-poppingly uneven. How could the housekeeper not notice? She knew and didn't care. There was also a used water bottle from a previous client in the nightstand. Made me wonder about things we couldn't see... Aside from cleanliness and customer service which, let's face it, can vary day to day and room to room, there were other issues. The beds are sleep number. Never slept in one and was curious to try. Pushed the two buttons on the remote and nothing happened. I tried it a couple different times over the night just to make sure it wasn't user error and two different numbers came up. Unfortunately I wasn't able to change them by pressing the up or down arrow buttons. What is the point? On top of that, it felt like sleeping on a balloon. When one person on the bed moved the other was moved the same amount. See Saw! The last issue is with the heat, or should I say excess heat. I turned the thermostat down to 60 at night and the air coming out of the vent was not cool. We cooked!!! Not a comfortable stay. Wouldn't go back no matter the deal. And we did not get one. read more

So I'll start with the good- the staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds seem comfortable and clean. Also our a/c is working which we are thankful for since most hotel guests are complaining about their a/c not working. Now the bad- bedroom wall has food stains, bathroom light is busted, the bathtubs drains are rusted out, the vanities are chipped and broken in bathrooms, toilet is having issues but does work. We are paying $128 a night per room. Booked 2 rooms. Both in poor condition. Both rooms have views of parking lot. The website pictures are deceitful because most rooms are not updated/new or clean. read more

Floor was dirty and obviously not vacuumed. The hot & cold symbols on the shower were reversed. Bed was nice and I had a good sleep. There was also a dirt stain on my sheets which I didn't mind but could've went without it... read more

Pet friendly, but the $50 fee is more than some hotels. Staff very pleasant. Shuttle bus available to river walk restaurants. I suspect people with pets are allowed to less desirable rooms. Appears some updating to the property has been done; hallways dark and gloomy. Mildew/mold on bathroom ceiling (previously observed and reported on by another guest, have not been addressed been though manager said there would be follow up). Bottom of bathroom door split and appeared chewed up. Hair in bathtub. Heating/cooling system needs improvement. Vending machines did not work properly - didn't accept bills. read more

Let me first say staff is amazing, friendly, informative, and willing to help. Now the bad parts. The hotel is outdated but to the point where it's run down. I've always stayed at the downtowner because it's affordable and clean even though it is outdated as well. Radisson is overpriced and dirty. A clean room trumps everything for me. Some info of the room it has a fridge and microwave and Keurig but unsure if that's free too scared to try. read more
