The hotel itself is fine, the rooms are good size and it is clean, they also have a restaurant onsite. Because it is in an urban setting, the parking situation stinks, you have to drive around to the parking structure, hopefully find a spot near the walk way that connects to the hotel, walk through the walkway, take the elevator to the hotel lobby, and then take a different elevator to whatever floor your room is on. The biggest issue I have is the service and how snotty the staff is. One of the reasons I booked this hotel because it is dog friendly, when I booked the reservation, I called the hotel and requested a ground floor room near an exit and was assured it would not be a problem and they would be happy to accommodate my request. Upon check in, I found I was on the 3rd floor. I told the lady I had requested and been confirmed that I would have a ground floor room near an exit, she told me the 2nd and 3rd floor are the pet friendly rooms and she could move me to a 2nd floor room if that was better. I said, I would like them to honor my request, I was then told they couldn't do that and if I had a request like that I should have called the actual property and not Marriot. I did call the property and offered to show her the number in my phone. I was then told, whoever I talked to gave me incorrect information and shouldn't have said I would be able to have that room. At this point the other desk person stopped helping her customer and decided to stick her nose in and said "be sure to have her sign the pet waiver and additional cleaning fee agreement", what? First, if you know anything about service recovery Orr customer service you know that one person talks and helps the customer, her butting in was not helpful. Second, you guaranteed me something you didn't have and then acted like it's my fault but be sure and try to get me to sign a waiver and charge me extra for cleaning the room. Nope. This was a horrible experience with snarky people, I don't recommend and never stay there again. read more

Another review gives a very funny and accurate description of the parking. First, park in front of the hotel and let your passengers and luggage out. They will need the license plate number of your car. Then drive to 1st Street and enter the ramp. You will need to park on level 2 (slightly confusing) and then use the skyway to begin the trek to the hotel. Then take an elevator down a level and a few more turns through the maze and you see the front desk. Ask for water and a snack. :) The person who checked me in was rambling and confused. The Elite desk had a line so I ended up with him. He was the one who tried to explain the parking ramp. You will then use another set of elevators to reach your room. We were upgraded to a king suite due to status and the room was great. The temp was set to 65 so it was cold but after we figured out there were 2 separate thermostats, it warmed up. Very clean. We checked out the Club Level and there were very minimal snacks and beverages. Not worth upgrading to a Club Level room just for access. Nice location downtown. read more

The view from the hotel room was nice. The pool and hot tub were pretty good and the workout room was about average. I was not expecting incredibly loud police and fire engine noise both nights of my stay coming from the street below. I was not expecting kids of all ages to be running the hallways and screaming from 11:00 p.m. till 4:00 a.m.. I was not expecting to get locked out of my room an hour before I was trying to check out and then having the staff spend an hour trying to get me back into my room so I could check out. I was not expecting a bunch of broken HVAC equipment in the hallway by the elevator. I was not expecting a dirty diaper in the hallway next to my room. The staff was very nice and did a good job at welcoming me and helping with parts of my visit however they obviously didn't have the resources to keep the hotel quietly under control especially in the evenings. This would be a hotel to avoid in the future if you're going to Duluth. read more

I feel that this is the nicest hotel in Duluth. It's a full service Marriott property with a bar and restaurant onsite. Many of the rooms have been updated and it's a great touch, especially the bathrooms. They have a club level lounge and although it still isn't functioning at full capacity, they do their best to stock it with drink and snacks. They also have a pretty nifty espresso machine up there too. They also have a very good workout room (for a hotel) and pool. Great location on E. Superior Street with plenty of restaurant and bar options within walking distance. The construction is finally done so navigation is much easier. Heck, you're a stones throw from Fond-Du-Luth Casino. Who doesn't like taking a stroll through that rathole! Only downside is the parking. No fault of the hotel, but you park in the garage take a stroll through a couple of hallways, and take the slowest elevator in the world before making it to the lobby. Traveling from Southern California, and the Sheraton in Duluth exceeded well beyond expectations. Everyone from the front desk staff to the house keeping staff was so generous and thoughtful. We also had our service dog with us, and they provided such a wonderful experience for all of us. So grateful to have found the Sheraton online. No directions on where and how to park - I had to out my flashers on and run inside the hotel to ask - front desk clerk informs me it's in a public garage around the block - just park on the second level Yeah it's not that easy but I figured it out - once you park your car in the parking garage you have to walk down a hall- yes you need a key card so thankfully I checked in prior and had it with me even though I wasn't told I needed it - you walk across the sky walk - down an elevator- lets you into the hotel where you walk around back into the lobby - past that to another set of elevators to go up into your room The room itself was very well decorated and had nice toiletries and a huge soaking tub Downside is the room was pretty small - I felt like I was In a closet - also the bed doesn't have side rails for the mattress and slides on the wooden surface so have fun getting up in the middle of the night and returning to your bed with the mattress sliding I checked out after one night / the hotel staff allowed me to and they were gracious about it Downtown Duluth seems to be dying a bit and nothing really going on - I would not recommend if you don't know the area and you're tired and have to park a car I am just shocked they call this site parking and they don't feel like they need to explain anything on their app read more

Spent two nights here, while in town for a wedding and general sight-seeing. Was pleasantly surprised to find out that they'd upgraded us to a lakeside room, though discovered when we got to the room that it was a 2 queen bed room, when we reserved a king. The view was worth the downsize in beds, so we stayed in it. The view did not disappoint. The room was well appointed, well designed, and comfortable. The staff was great, and we appreciated the connected parking and the skyway access. The only complaint was housekeeping. Our second stay in Duluth, and the second time the room was supposed to be refreshed and wasn't. But this hotel, unlike the other one, sent someone up to take care of the room. The attached bigger bottle of conditioner in the bath was empty on checking in, we called and asked for it to be refilled when we asked for housekeeping, and it wasn't done the second time, either. Terrible! First, I want to say the guy at the front desk when we checked in was AMAZING. However, when I called to extend the reservation, I was told multiple times (I even clarified 3 times) that we could stay in the same room the entire time. When we arrived, they told us we couldn't stay in the upgraded room and would have to switch rooms after the first day. Annoying, but fine.The next day, they completely changed the plan, and we ended up with keys that didn't work and no idea when we could get into the other room. I paid $520 per night for this stay, and at that price point, I would expect better service and communication. The staff member at check-in told us we could switch rooms by 10 a.m. but that did not happen. When I went back for updates, they didn't even give us new keys a member of the cleaning staff had to let us into the room. I've worked in customer service for years, and I have never witnessed a train wreck like this. To make matters worse, this stay is during my wedding weekend.... read more

Checked in and was immediately greeted with a smile. Upgraded to a beautiful view of Lake Superior. Bed was super comfy and comforter was perfect since we were there during the polar vortex. Unfortunately the heater in my room didn't heat the room so the comforter kept me warm and toasty. Rooms are older but clean. Wished the room had a refrigerator. Stayed for two nights and my room was not cleaned the first night. One of the two elevators was broken during my stay and with one the wait was longer than normal. Food in the Concierge lounge was very limited, didn't even serve eggs during the three days of my stay. As for the restaurant, food was terrible. Salad was overdressed, had brown wilted lettuce. Pasta was frozen and sauce was soupy. The plus side server was attentive and friendly. Parking garage is a nice walk from the lobby. They have a shuttle that will drive you around town close to the airport although I didn't use it. read more

The "restaurant" is awful. Under-served, mediocre food, grim bus-station-like decor/ formica tables. Rooms ok. They did NOT change duvets between guests. On my second night the cover sheets slipped away from the duvet and I was horrified to see the duvet was filthy. Actively grossly dirty. I now don't even trust that any of the bedding was fresh. THey clearly didn't change it between the last occupant and my arrival, and the state of the duvet was so bad that they probably haven't changed it for several guests. I DON'T blame the housekeeping staff. THey're overworked and no doubt underpaid. But clearly there's no quality control system. And too much burden put on the housekeepers. I will NEVER stay in a Sheraton again. read more

We have always brought our dog with us as this hotel boasts to be pet-friendly. They are NOT. They will charge you a fee but you are not allowed to leave the pet in the room for any reason. There are so many awesome places to stay in Duluth. Don't stay here. So many cons: *No mini fridge or micro. Booooo! *Old tiny TV's with no HDMI port and basic cable with no guide telling what shows are on. Awww maaaan! *Long walk from parking ramp shared with clinic. (A skyway and an elevator, then another elevator to get to your room in the hotel.) Parking was free, but every time you wanted to leave you had to stop at the front desk to get another ticket to insert into the machine at the exit. Pain! *No free breakfast. Hisssssss! *Double doors on the bathroom that don't meet in the middle. Peekaboo! *Too hot at night. It was set at 70. I turned it down to 65, but it never moved. No air movement. I'll start by saying most everyone at the hotel was very friendly. I'll also add that there is nothing more important the health and safety of the hospital staff as well as myself. With that being said, I'll dive in. This hotel isn't all that old but has recently gone through a renovation and certainly dresses it up. However, there are areas that are showing it's age and doesn't quite match up with the renovations and updates. The biggest area was the bathroom. The grout, ties and tub looked very dingy. I thought there was mold in the shower but my wife said it was the grout and it would be difficult to clean It still looked like mold. The shower curtain to the tub shower was very discusting and didn't notice it until the last day we were there. Frankly, i'm glad I didn't see it until then but was mortified at how dirty and disgusting it was. There is lots of construction on Superior St. right now which the hotel obviously has no control over. It does make it very difficult to haul luggage and bags since the main parking is in a ramp behind the building and you have to meander between the skyway, through locked doors, down an elevator and through the hallways. There's not of options around the front. It would be nice if guests were told ahead of time the best place to go and navigate to make the first impression much better. Once we finally found the front desk, we checked in and were immediately given a sheet of paper about the changed due to COVID. Room service was unavailable but take our orders are. There would be no in room housekeeping once you check in and could only be arranged if you were there more than 5 nights. This COVID based procedure allowed for dirty linens, towels and garbage to be left in the hallways as that's were we were told to leave it. It didn't seem to be picked up very quickly either. We also stayed on the Club Lounge floor and assumed what we paid for included that as well. We were also told that, because of COVID, the Club Lounge was closed. At some point, service providers are going to address that they will not be able to use the COVID explanation while still charging a premium for their services but not deliver. The pool and gym are completely open, no room service but the restaurant is open and the lounge is closed to COVID yet very few staff were wearing masks. I'd like to think it's more of a staffing issue than COVID issue but seeing multiple people stand around the front desk talking tells me otherwise. What I would have expected for a premium room at a category 5 hotel would have been an explanation as to why the lounge is closed and since we weren't able to take advantage of it, the ability for free breakfast in the restaurant, a bottle of wine or heck, even a free drink at the bar. This likely isn't the process of the hotel, but would say there appears to be a great opportunity to provide some additional value. We couldn't get into our normal resort for the days we wanted to stay so being a Bonvoy member I target Marriott prosperities first. I normally stay at another one but had an opportunity to have a 1 bedroom suite with a separate living room and bedroom. My wife and I were there to both work and visit family so thought the additional room and separation would be nice. I also assume people who get the suite also want the space and flexibility to both relax but also work if needed. Nearly every hotel I've ever stayed in has some sort of desk and chair you can use to work at. The pictures even show the room with a desk by the window overlooking Lake Superior. Our room, however, had no desk. It has a massive hallway with tow sets of double doors into the bathroom and a gigantic closest that i'm guessing is rarely use; but no desk and chair. When I asked the person at the front desk about not having a desk I was told that after the renovation, some of the suites didn't get them. I guess we were one of those suites. I will say, the bed was very comfortable and if we didn't have a lake view, there would be nearly no value to the stay at this hotel because of the inconveniences. This hotel seems to be animal friendly and found that out when we heard barking dogs multiple times throughout our stay which is very annoying. It's hard to go between Marriott properties that have one policy while others have very different ones. I would expect consistency from Marriott and why I believe they may be having a more of a staffing issue that lead to the lack of value for the price. read more

A relatively new ( maybe 10 years) hotel located in downtown Duluth on Superior St about a mile from canal street and the big lake. We were here for only one night this time but found our room on the fifth (out of six) floor roomy, reasonably up to date, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed and the a/c quiet and efficient. Check in was quick and friendly. The only tricky thing was finding the parking which is in a city-owned ramp up and behind the hotel. On my second trip around the block I noticed a smallish Sheraton sign over part of the garage entrance. A sign by the front of the hotel could have helped too had there been one. I learned later that parking is free for guests-you just need to pick up a validation at the front desk (nice). The garage is connected to the hotel via a long skyway on floor two of the garage. I always ask for a quiet room as one of the challenges in larger hotels is noisy neighbors and slamming doors and while there weren't too many people on our floor the loud heavy doors were bothersome. Overall this place offers all the features I look for in a hotel. Front desk hospitality is first rate and was a decent spot to stay. Note: our bed (rm 503) was extra extra firm - I thought it was fine but my wife hated it and didn't sleep too well. We also had a room on the 6th floor club level so wee able to take advantage of the club room for a light breakfast featuring breakfast sandwiches, cereal, fruit, bagels and toast which was a nice little extra. read more

Ok, let's start with check in, the mobile check-in to get a mobile key doesn't work which forces you to go to the front desk. The early evening (4pm) desk front desk staff was rude and took forever to buzz us in from the parking garage. After that we headed to our room where the floor length mirror has what appear to be popped pimple splatter, gross!! The room itself was nice, kinda small for a deluxe king, but it had a desk, nice looking bathroom, mini fridge, and enough lights/plug-ins. Overall the room wasn't perfectly clean but it was nice! The gym equipment was subpar if you like to do a programmed workout on bikes/treadmill and such because the screen wouldn't respond after you started one and it would shut down ultimately. The snacks in the lobby were overpriced- but the later evening front desk associate was very friendly and polite! The pros are that parking is discounted, they do have a gym and pool, and the location is good for walking to get breakfast. The cons are it's not super clean, you put for parking, and the staff aren't always the nicest. I would stay here again, but only after I sought other options. read more

We were so happy to pull in and unload after driving through white out snow squalls in the upper peninsula. The staff was accommodating and quick to help us settle in our room. After a very nail biting trip l was looking forward to a nice glass of chilled wine. Imagine my surprise to find the fridge so tiny my bottle did not fit in....and wait a minute...no microwave? For the price of the room l expected a bit better than cooling my wine in an ice container. Bed was very comfy and bathroom a nice size with big fluffy towels. I did have to ask the cleaning staff on the 2nd day to replace and pick up my towels, coffee pods and accessories. I also put my garbage in the hall as the bin was full to overflowing. I had actually reserved 2 rooms. The second roo. The bed was changed daily, mine was changed once. Their complimentary water bottle even when they did not use one was replaced daily, mine was done one time. When l asked if my room had been done, the housekeeper told me yes. I went in to the same condition it was when I left.....overflowing garbage, bed made by me but not refreshed and towels on the floor. They were however quick to clean it, but it was interesting to see how the 2 rooms were treated since l had reserved both. That said, that was the only, and albeit small infraction. The staff was amazing and front desk was always helpful with restaurant suggestions and overall friendliness. The 301 restaurant was tasty, order the mushroom brie grilled cheese and add shrimp to your Ceasar salad. All delicious. Booking through Booking.com we got a voucher for 2 adults for the All American breakfast for each day of out stay. Nice bonus. Very tasty. Would definitely come back although parking sucks. If you have mobility issues, it's a long walk from the lot and they could use valet service. read more

Decent lake view if you're on an upper level floor like I was. Room service is really good. Free hotel shuttle. Restaurant and lounge. Cons: To get a good lake view you must be on floor 5 or 6. Walls are PAPER THIN...not kidding. A gentleman was blowing his nose at 5am and I thought he was outside my door. It went on for over 5 minutes so I went to the door to ask him to move along and when I opened the door no one was there. That's when I heard it again and realized it was the room next to mine. I heard people out in the hallway at all hours as if they were standing in my room. The hotel allows dogs, which is great until you can hear them barking at 3am. I could also hear the people above me. The restaurant is good, but overpriced and lacking in options. It would be great if the rooms had a fridge and microwave. This is not my first choice for a place to stay in Duluth. However, I would stay here again as long as I could stay on an upper level, lake view floor. read more

We were here to visit my wife's Grandma and used Starwood points for a free night. The staff were amazing and the bartender very cool but the hotel has tougher parking for families, is pretty dated with the carpets showing stains and wear in a lot of spots and the room had a weird smell? We stay at a lot of Starwood properties and I haven't found this to be the norm but even the premium members lounge was a bit strange compared to other properties. I stayed here on my last two visits to Duluth and I will keep coming back. It's a bit of a hike from Canal Place, but they do have a free shuttle till 10. The rooms are big and comfortable, the hallways/doors a bit noisy. Large LCD TVs, coffee in room, big desk, plenty of amenities. There is a bar and expensive restaurant. Big fitness center. Attached to the back of the hotel is public parking - they will give you a validation ticket to exit and its free for guests, connected by a skyway. Contrary to others - there is a fridge in the room, but no microwave. The TV is huge and has expanded cable. read more

Where this hotel excels is the staff - from the welcoming check-in to the amazing bar/kitchen that put together something right as they were closing, to the unseen cleaning staff that kept the ENTIRE hotel spotless. This is probably the nicest hotel in Duluth outside of Canal Park. While after 10 years, it is showing a bit of age, it is still clean, comfortable, and has some of the best service I have experienced at a hotel in Minnesota. Parking is free. Yes, I said free. That is something you don't usually find at a hotel in a downtown area. Yes, the walk from the ramp to the hotel lobby is long (down a long hallway, across a long skywalk, down an elevator, down a long hallway, around a corner, and now you've made it) but if the parking is free I am not complaining. The rooms are nice. Aging a bit, yes, but nice. I have been told that they have begun to fully remodel rooms, but for now I was in a room with a beautiful view of the lake but without a single USB port to be found. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, the water in the shower was hot, and there were plenty of towels. As for the amenities outside of the room, I experienced the pool, which was kind of small but wasn't crowded full of kids. The fitness center looked well appointed but I didn't find time to utilize it. The lobby bar had a full bar and lots of local craft beer options. The bartender was attentive and friendly. Overall, a great hotel. Make it your first choice on your visit to Duluth! read more

This place was great! Very dog friendly and they gave us an upgrade on our room as we had a dog and had a super friendly staff!! Dogs are kept on the first three floors so others that are not "dog people" can be on floors without them. The rooms were very well done and clean, great beds with high thread count sheets, great pillows and down comforters. Towels were plush and bathrooms large. Location was awesome. 5 min walk to Lake Superior shore and walking trail. Close to many nice restaurants, shops and bars. Right across street from Duluth Trading Co!! Parking was attached by skyway. Wonderful Starwood property with an amazing location! We had a quick one-night stay here. I used SPG points for a free stay, since the rate was $150+ for the night. As a platinum traveling with my parents, we opted for a "suite" with double beds and a sofa w/ pull-out bed. Unfortunately this was on the non-lake side, but it was still a slightly larger room than the average guest room. We weren't too picky, but I would never call that room a suite - - more like a deluxe room. The room itself was in flawless shape... still looked brand new! Comfortable beds, the sofa bed was not too comfortable (but few are)... There was always plenty of staff on hand, and they were always super friendly! Club Lounge was open for breakfast from 7:00am to 9:30am and for hors' doeuvres from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Dry breakfast with some cereal and a few pastries, appetizers were more like crackers, cheese, and some cookies. The club lounge is on the side of the building, so it had somewhat limited lake views. Parking complimentary - - always nice. But you have to go through a couple elevators, walk through the sweltering skywalk, and then back through to get to your car. (I was alright with it...but somewhat cumbersome.) The location could not have been better! Plus this town is so walkable - - we walked everywhere! Let me just start out by saying that the excellent employees are what truly drives this review toward the five-star rating. From our arrival at the hotel and throughout the entirety of our visit, my party and I (4 of us in all) receive respectful, friendly and most of all, professional service. All members of the staff were impeccably dressed and groomed, were smiling and willing to be of assistance and always said hello. The hotel is located within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Although it is not directly on Lake Superior, the lake side rooms provide a beautiful view of sunrise. The one disappointing issue we found with the hotel was the parking situation. It is necessary to park in a ramp, walk through a sky way, take on elevator to the lobby, walk across the lobby and then take another elevator up to our room. However, considering the size and the narrow streets of Duluth, we were just happy to have off-street parking! The public areas including the lounge, bar, front desk, pool/hot tub, elevators, rooms and hallways were clean, well-lit and comfortable. One of the worst experiences in a hotel can be the beds...but not here. It was like sleeping on a cloud with fluffy pillows, multiple layers of linens and clean sheets. There were also plenty of towels for our entire group. Shortly after arriving, we discovered there was a slight miscommunication about our reservations. While I won't discuss the exact nature of the issue, suffice it to say that the manager, Ryan, provided us with an acceptable alternative, apologized profusely, and offered other "perks" for our trouble. I was satisfied to accept a reduced rate on our room (which was given to us); however, Ryan was not. Shortly after we agreed on the room rate, we heard a knock at the door. There, we were presented with ice cold milk and warm, gooey chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies, along with an apology note. So unnecessary, but so appreciated! As I stated at the beginning, the staff truly made our stay an amazing one and I would absolutely recommend this hotel and/or stay here on my next trip. read more

From my recent visit to Duluth, I've learned two valuable lessons: First, visiting Duluth in January is apparently a bad idea unless you have a sadistic nature and like to watch your own ass get frozen into a popsicle for fun (in that case, start your own TV show--I promise I'll watch) Second, visiting Duluth in the same hotel as the junior hockey stars in January makes for a rotten dingoberry on top of your already horrifyingly cold experience. Despite the pessimistic sounding intro of my review, I still warrant Sheraton Duluth a shiny 4-star rating for my experience. The inviting elegance of the hotel complemented well with the excellent service from the staffs. I came here strictly on a business trip and scored a room for only a hundred bucks a night. As expected of a Sheraton, my room was impeccably clean and stylishly decorated. If it wasn't for the loud kids and their parents, I would've been MUCH more satisfied with my stay. Another room for improvement is in their transportation staffs. For some reason, the drivers I've seen weren't that nice or professional in their mannerism. I felt as if I was being driven around in a school bus rather than a paid service. In any case, I would go and stay there again on a weekend when there's no kiddie tournament. read more

Honestly? One of my favorite hotels in the world. In downtown quaint Duluth of all places. The quintessential mid west experience. Location is perfect to walk to canal park or any of the nearby shops and restaurants. The views of the lake are breathtaking, both winter and summer. And the fun surprise? While branded a Sheraton, the property is built out at the level of a high end Westin. Rooms have bathtubs, tile bathrooms, some with fireplaces. It's an amazing gem. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. If walking out the front door of the Soho Grand onto west broadway is the ultimate New York entrance to your day, walking out the door of the Sheraton Duluth is the ultimate mid west entrance to your day. Stay here. Get a high floor lake view room. And make a little time in your schedule to look out the window and enjoy a spectacular room. read more

This hotel, in addition to being in a charming downtown location, is connected to the hospital. My son was in intensive care. There was no idea when he would be released. This hotel not only gave us a great rate, they graciously extended my stay as long as I needed, even though it was a holiday weekend and they were full!! Everything was spotlessly clean. Pod coffee was Starbucks. Body lotion was divine. No view really and a little teenager noise at night - I could've cared less. Thank you, Sheraton Duluth! read more

First time at this hotel in Duluth Rooms look redone recently and mine is quite large Easy free parking structure is attached and great for the the winter weather. Restaurant is open until 11 with a bar menu and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. And an Irish pub right across the street too! read more

Dingy, filthy, and downright gross. Stayed here for business. If it was my choice I would have booked elsewhere. After I complained they gave me a different room but the hotel, itself, is completely run down. Not worth the money. No fridge, no microwave. Waited at the check-in desk at least 5-10 minutes before anyone showed up. read more

DON'T Waste your money here $$$$$$$$ The Sheraton Duluth Hotel restaurant which serves AMERICAN style is not worth dining at. the real reason I wrote this to tell you the honest truth about this restaurant. Restaurant 301 don't waste your time eating there. 1: takes to long for the food to arrive. 2: When you get your food it poorly done. 3: It doesn't matter if you send the food back because it comes out the same as what you sent back. 4: The steak it was over cooked both times. Chef Thomas Malone has no clue how to cook. I had on piece of the second steak and paid $34.00 for a steak that was terrible. Im a Platinum Elite with Marriott - Starwood and spend 80 nights a year with this brand of hotels this by far is the worst dinning experience I have had in ten years. read more

Stayed here with my son during a basketball tournament. The rooms at decent. Not as nice as a typical Marriott. Shower had some mold in the corners which is kinda gross. The carpet also had some huge stains on the floor - which I felt like I should wear my shoes around the room. (Room 536) The sheet on the bed had a rip in it also. On a positive note the TV was huge and awesome if you like watching Tv ... Not a huge fan of the location cause I felt like probably not the safest to walk around at night. Lots of pan handling and a few suspicious characters around the Parking ramp. The gentlemen at the front desk told me it was safe to walk with my son to canal and I definitely don't think it would have been a safe walk for a women and child at night. Work out room is mediocre but sufficient. Pool isn't huge but probably will do for a quick dip for kids. Restaurant and bar look good and this would be convenient for business travelers. read more
