I just drove two and a half hours and ordered a drink was bowling ready to order food and was cut off for asking for bumpers for my girlfriend. Will never come back!! I was invited to this place by a local, probably close to his place. This dive bar is inside the bowling alley. It is a small watering hole. There is nothing special about this place. The wings were okay here. They have typical bar food. We had a couple drinks, which were okay. I believe they only have 1 person working so it could be an issue if busier, maybe. They do have TVs lining the bar if you like that. That is all I can say, pretty vanilla. read more

Had my wedding here. Will never recommend it again.. expressed my concern to the two people i could find and got ignored. Had lot of issues with the "manager of the night" they closed bar down 4 hours EARLY with no warning. Had our plan all set up but they failed to leave our dance floor clear so we had to move it inside and alot of guest didn't like it. Our bartender was set up to fail bit he still did a good job considering. We couldn't ever find anyone without searching to stock the simplest things .. food was not good either cooked and preped poorly . This place ruined my wedding day . UPDATE . Management blamed us . What was I thinking??? I saw the sign that said "Voted Best Pizza Buffet" and I bit. Now, I'm inside, committed to the buffet that was your standard slimy, greasy, mostly cheesy pizza slices (VERY slim, but hey, just take more), over cooked wings, nasty looking pasta and almost rock hard swedish meatballs when it hit me. These are the very same voters who elected a professional wrestler as Governor and a failed, lame comedian as Senator. Why didn't I run when I saw the "Voted Best" sign?? I guess, I'm just getting old. Anyway, the pizza was slimy, greasy, and mostly cheesy with few toppings. The swedish meatballs were overcooked and hard and I didn't have the swedish meatballs to try anything else. To top it off, they offered nothing but sodas, which I don't drink or else you had to buy a bottled water to accompany the buffet. $24 for two was a total ripoff. Facility is nice. Had a retirement party tonight and ordered pizzas for planned number of people which was paid for. Less showed up so had leftovers. Were told by staff that even though we paid for the food, we were unable to bring it home due to it being out for a hour and a half.-- part of contract. Had staff notified us that we were reaching the end of the buffet time, we could have sent it home with people earlier. I work for a major organization in Duluth and will not use this facility again--- food was mediocre at best. Paid a lot for what we received and not being able to take leftovers for our team who was working was frustrating. Unfortunately will not recommend others to book events here. I was super excited to go here. I was going to eat in the inside bar seating area and then go and play some games in the other room. First time being there the servers hardly acknowledge me and my daughter and her friend. We sat down and no one even bothered to get us any help and even walked past us numerous times. Sat for 20 to 30 min and no help, not even a "hello have you been helped"? I was super disappointed. The lounge has a great buffet for lunch! Lots of options and excellent pizza with other healthy options. I'm not typically a fan of buffets, but this one is well serviced with fresh ingredients. This bowling alley could not accurately transcribe our scores. Came here on Wednesday college night with a group of friends and told staff that our lane was not showing the correct scores for some players. We then got to switched lanes in order to resolve the problem, yet it didn't fix it. On the other lane our scores were still not accurate. One of my friends got a strike, but it didn't show up. Also the lane would not reset pins for us. It would a new persons turn and there would be only 2 pins set up. Really frustrating. Only plus was that the french fries were really good. read more

I am not too big of a fan of bowling but wahoo! This place is as good as it gets! I came here with friends for a party. I had no idea that a bowling ally could contain so many other awesome things. This place had a volleyball court out back and some bean bag toss games out back. There was a full bar in the reserved party room and the bowling ally its self looked pretty awesome too. The food that I had there was absolutely fantastic and I think I also saw a keroke machine while I was there. They had a pizza buffet of some sort that I was not able to check out but it looked and smelled delicious. The service there was also extremely friendly. It's too bad that my phone was actually dead or I would have taken a ton of pictures. This place was awesome and I plane to visit again soon. Hopefully before winter so that I can enjoy playing some volleyball. I am super excited about my next adventure here. This place deserves 10 stars but yelp would only let me give it 5! My fiancé and I were regulars at Dave's for a long time.We had a view of the bowling alley from where we sat.Sometimes the owner would go by the window and stare at my fiancé.The owners son would do the same but he'd also look at his watch like we were there for too long.I have several medical conditions where I need to sit for and extended period of time to give myself time to eat.Being a buffet there is no posted time limit to stay but we were made to feel like we weren't wanted there.We just ignored the glares and looking of the watch because there are a lot of ignorant people in this world and we figured that's what they are.Ignorant!Then all of a sudden we get kicked out one day.Owners son says he's afraid of my fiancé.We have never caused any trouble or were ever rude to anyone there.We've even shared our table with strangers when it was busy and when the Husky refinery thing happened there was nobody there and a fed-ex guy asked if he could sit with us.All sorts of tables he could have sat at but felt safe and comfortable with us.Does that sound like a scary guy to you?We liked a few of the workers there but the cook Roxie was never friendly!My fiancé even had workers from the back of the complex wave when they came to eat.Food there is descent but the owner and son are jerks! We went here after bowling at skyline. When we sat in a booth we were ignored for 10 minutes as the waitress chatted with regulars. Finally I walked up to her and asked her if it was ok to get food from the buffet. 2 adults and 5 kids. They charged my 9 and 10 year olds as adults. We all had the buffet. So it ran us 70$ for 2 adults and 5 kids. When I asked for water she told me they would have to charge me for bottled water as drinks were mandatory with the buffet. Pizza was super soggy, like the crust was wet so when you tried to hold it it just fell straight down. Thin crust but Crust was wet and limp. Salad was ok. Noodles in the buffet were dry and they didn't refill them with fresh. Very expensive for what we got. Will not be back. read more
