You can't be bored at this place! There's so much to do. We had a large (30 ppl) group of needy family members together for a dinner. The waitress Abby was amazing! She handled the group with efficiency and delivered food and drink with a smile. Thank you Abby! We hope to see you back at Skyline and be blessed with your service. read more

I came to this establishment and was truly miss treated! I just drove two and a half hours and ordered a drink was bowling ready to order food and was cut off for asking for bumpers for my girlfriend. Will never come back!! Staff allowed guests next to us screaming swearing saying racial slurs and staff seemed to be friends with the disruptive group! read more

I Came bowling with some family and Skyline was popping! It was very busy that Sunday, but the staff was able to sneak us in! Pros: they had a special where we paid $10/per person for 1.5 hours of bowling, a $5 arcade card, and a pizza. Cons: It was difficult to bowl due to the bowling lane being dark and many different laser lights happening all at once. Overall it was a good experience and I would visit again. 7/10 read more

Great time!! We had private room in back with bartender! My group had a blast! Food was great and service was amazing! Half the group preordered food ahead and that is definitely the way to go. read more

We make a habit of their Sunday Funday duckpin sessions with our family & also frequent during our daughters out-of-town volleyball league tournaments. I swear, everyone seems so happy to work here and it shows. Awesome bar and food service, clean & comfortable. The Bloody Mary's & beer selection are delicious and food is never disappointing. Easy location on the hill & forever fun memories. read more

I've seen both ends of the spectrum. Last time I was here I sat for 30 minutes and never got service so I left. This time I was greeted by 2 different servers within 5 minutes. Food is fantastic. I don't drink but the 2 for 1's from 3-6 keep the bar busy. I've tried a lot of the menu and haven't had a bad meal. read more

Ok I rarely leave reviews locally, but when I saw that skyline was only 3.5 stars on yelp I literally had to try to help people see a hidden gem in Duluth!! Skyline has in the last year or so made HUGE improvements and changes making it probably the best all around place in the twin ports. food, drinks, games, bowling, amazing staff and reasonably priced across the board!! Do yourself a favor, Go!!!! read more

I would give 7/5 stars if I could!! Joe is an awesome server -- super attentive and really nice and friendly! If I'm not in Joe's section, I'm gonna to hover over a table just to be in his section. read more

Thank you Skyline!! I want to give extra attention to server Emma for a fantastic job and being attentive to our party!!! Excellent Job! I also want to thank Stephanie J. Fantastic service by Jaimen! Fast, accurate and friendly! I give that guy 5 stars!! Oh, the nachos and bloody's are great too!

I was invited to this place by a local, probably close to his place. This dive bar is inside the bowling alley. It is a small watering hole. There is nothing special about this place. The wings were okay here. They have typical bar food. We had a couple drinks, which were okay. I believe they only have 1 person working so it could be an issue if busier, maybe. They do have TVs lining the bar if you like that. That is all I can say, pretty vanilla. read more

Had my wedding here. Will never recommend it again.. expressed my concern to the two people i could find and got ignored. Had lot of issues with the "manager of the night" they closed bar down 4 hours EARLY with no warning. Had our plan all set up but they failed to leave our dance floor clear so we had to move it inside and alot of guest didn't like it. Our bartender was set up to fail bit he still did a good job considering. We couldn't ever find anyone without searching to stock the simplest things .. food was not good either cooked and preped poorly . This place ruined my wedding day . UPDATE . Management blamed us . They were super rude and laughed at me on the phone when I asked about the tip they give themselves to be refunded . Manger refuse to listen to what I had to say because his staff is right. read more

This has got to be the nastiest place I have ever been to trash all over the floor. Bathrooms had no toilet paper or paper towels and the people there look at you like you shouldn't be there. Stay away from this place. read more

What was I thinking??? I saw the sign that said "Voted Best Pizza Buffet" and I bit. Now, I'm inside, committed to the buffet that was your standard slimy, greasy, mostly cheesy pizza slices (VERY slim, but hey, just take more), over cooked wings, nasty looking pasta and almost rock hard swedish meatballs when it hit me. These are the very same voters who elected a professional wrestler as Governor and a failed, lame comedian as Senator. Why didn't I run when I saw the "Voted Best" sign?? I guess, I'm just getting old. Anyway, the pizza was slimy, greasy, and mostly cheesy with few toppings. The swedish meatballs were overcooked and hard and I didn't have the swedish meatballs to try anything else. To top it off, they offered nothing but sodas, which I don't drink or else you had to buy a bottled water to accompany the buffet. $24 for two was a total ripoff. And to think I drove past the Pizza Hut lunch buffet and ended up here. Never again. read more

Get the giant order of nachos!!! The waffle fries are on par with bar/diner food (delicious, greasy option). This place stays busy in the evenings, but totally worth the wait. If you're bowling, stop in the restaurant early and out in your order while you bowl! read more

Facility is nice. Had a retirement party tonight and ordered pizzas for planned number of people which was paid for. Less showed up so had leftovers. Were told by staff that even though we paid for the food, we were unable to bring it home due to it being out for a hour and a half.-- part of contract. Had staff notified us that we were reaching the end of the buffet time, we could have sent it home with people earlier. I work for a major organization in Duluth and will not use this facility again--- food was mediocre at best. Paid a lot for what we received and not being able to take leftovers for our team who was working was frustrating. Unfortunately will not recommend others to book events here. Very disappointing read more

I was super excited to go here. I was going to eat in the inside bar seating area and then go and play some games in the other room. First time being there the servers hardly acknowledge me and my daughter and her friend. We sat down and no one even bothered to get us any help and even walked past us numerous times. Sat for 20 to 30 min and no help, not even a "hello have you been helped"? I was super disappointed. It was as if you had to be a regular to get served there or if your new and dont know how things work good luck getting any help! read more

Fantastic pizza and service was great! And you can go bowling when you're done. Great for the family and friends for any occasion Highly recommend! read more

i stop there once and a while like we love the happy hour. We were there when there was a shift change was trying to get the bartenders attention said excuse me when the bartender by the name of Adam said that he doesn't answer to that and after talking to your regulars they said he is so rude and one man that was going to order another drink said he wouldn't because he was working which I have heard before read more

In the Lodge, after volleyball, had to wait to pay my bill, $100+, because the poor guy was busy but there was a girl behind the bar, doing dishes, while 5 more groups lined up behind me. I understand she's just a bar back, but she could have gotten some help. Some training and customer service is needed. Girls out on deck busted their butts for us, I hope they get some of our tip. read more

Great local hangout. The food is ok but the people make this a great spot. In the summer they have a huge sand volleyball courts. They have leagues set up for all experience levels along with bag courts and leagues. Great time and place to be in the summer! read more

We were in Duluth for my daughter's 15th birthday. We went bowling at Skyline. It was AMAZING. All of the staff were wonderful. The pizza was delicious. And when the manager lady (sorry, I didn't catch your name) found out about my daughter, she had the bartender bring us CUPCAKES! Next time I am in Duluth area I will go outta my way to visit! read more

The lounge has a great buffet for lunch! Lots of options and excellent pizza with other healthy options. I'm not typically a fan of buffets, but this one is well serviced with fresh ingredients. The lounge has attentive staff and other great menu options, if the buffet does not suit you. I love their veggie flatbread with chicken or their grilled buffalo chicken wrap. Drinks have a good pour and bartenders are on point. Great quaint hangout that's a local secret! read more

Horrible service!! The bar wasn't even busy, 2 bartenders on and had to wait over 5 mins to get a beer. One of the bartenders got off work, sat on the other side of the bar and gave my friend and I dirty looks. She walked past us and mumbled something under her breath. A bunch of little kids working there that need to grow up. read more

Love the new venue; however, some of the new menu items are awful. **dont order the nachos. not your "normal" nachos. there's no cheese and looks more like a salad. read more

So unimpressed with the staff working on a Sunday night they close at 11 got there at 10:15 got drinks were served white claws unopened (working in the service industry I know this isn't legal) bartender couldn't wait to get off work so basically pushed us out of the bar. Asked for more drinks at quarter to 11 and some waters and he said "I would never do that 15 minutes before a bar closes" customer service?? Yeah definitely not! Don't bartenders want to make money?? Apparently not here! Don't go here at 10:15 and expect to be given decent service! read more

This bowling alley could not accurately transcribe our scores. Came here on Wednesday college night with a group of friends and told staff that our lane was not showing the correct scores for some players. We then got to switched lanes in order to resolve the problem, yet it didn't fix it. On the other lane our scores were still not accurate. One of my friends got a strike, but it didn't show up. Also the lane would not reset pins for us. It would a new persons turn and there would be only 2 pins set up. Really frustrating. Only plus was that the french fries were really good. read more

Great weekly happy hour deals. We went on a Wednesday late afternoon and had two-for-one drinks. There was a free nacho bar going on too but we had dinner plans so didn't check it out. Cozy atmosphere you wouldn't expect from this complex. Glad we checked it out! read more

Took ringing door bell 4 times and waiting 10 minutes before I could even get a hold of someone to talk to. Asked to see a menu, which took about 5 minutes for the guy to find one, which itself was dirty because of the building wide remodel. Outrageous prices. Excellent place to order from if you like terrible customer service and overpaying. read more

Who the flying fuck wants to wait 30-45 minutes for pizza? Because I sure don't. By the time I get my pizza I am already done bowling and almost out the door. The only reason I gave it to stars is because of the pizza and it was pretty decent read more

The staff was friendly, but management sucked! I think his name was "Corey", but rude and impolite to deal with. Didn't come off as a nice man to work for and seemed way to arrogant for a manager of a lame pizza joint. Will not return and will not give my money to them. Best Pizza in the Northland! Great place to have a beer & pizza with friends. Dave's nudges out Sammy's pizza as my favorite in Duluth.

I am not too big of a fan of bowling but wahoo! This place is as good as it gets! I came here with friends for a party. I had no idea that a bowling ally could contain so many other awesome things. This place had a volleyball court out back and some bean bag toss games out back. There was a full bar in the reserved party room and the bowling ally its self looked pretty awesome too. The food that I had there was absolutely fantastic and I think I also saw a keroke machine while I was there. They had a pizza buffet of some sort that I was not able to check out but it looked and smelled delicious. The service there was also extremely friendly. It's too bad that my phone was actually dead or I would have taken a ton of pictures. This place was awesome and I plane to visit again soon. Hopefully before winter so that I can enjoy playing some volleyball. I am super excited about my next adventure here. This place deserves 10 stars but yelp would only let me give it 5! I absolutely recommend it for people of all ages. Its got something for everyone in the family. read more

We went here after bowling at skyline. When we sat in a booth we were ignored for 10 minutes as the waitress chatted with regulars. Finally I walked up to her and asked her if it was ok to get food from the buffet. 2 adults and 5 kids. They charged my 9 and 10 year olds as adults. We all had the buffet. So it ran us 70$ for 2 adults and 5 kids. When I asked for water she told me they would have to charge me for bottled water as drinks were mandatory with the buffet. Pizza was super soggy, like the crust was wet so when you tried to hold it it just fell straight down. Thin crust but Crust was wet and limp. Salad was ok. Noodles in the buffet were dry and they didn't refill them with fresh. Very expensive for what we got. Will not be back. read more

Good service and good pizza! They did a very good job of making sure we had what we needed for our family gathering. We plan on coming back.

My fiancé and I were regulars at Dave's for a long time.We had a view of the bowling alley from where we sat.Sometimes the owner would go by the window and stare at my fiancé.The owners son would do the same but he'd also look at his watch like we were there for too long.I have several medical conditions where I need to sit for and extended period of time to give myself time to eat.Being a buffet there is no posted time limit to stay but we were made to feel like we weren't wanted there. We just ignored the glares and looking of the watch because there are a lot of ignorant people in this world and we figured that's what they are.Ignorant! Then all of a sudden we get kicked out one day.Owners son says he's afraid of my fiancé.We have never caused any trouble or were ever rude to anyone there. We've even shared our table with strangers when it was busy and when the Husky refinery thing happened there was nobody there and a fed-ex guy asked if he could sit with us.All sorts of tables he could have sat at but felt safe and comfortable with us.Does that sound like a scary guy to you?We liked a few of the workers there but the cook Roxie was never friendly! My fiancé even had workers from the back of the complex wave when they came to eat.Food there is descent but the owner and son are jerks! And I should mention that both myself and my fiancé are handicapped. read more

Went to Dave's Pizza with a group of people (20) from my work place to have a beer and pizza. The service was good but the Pizza was the worst, The pizza was both over done and wet and raw at the same time, we alerted the waitress and she said that was the way the pizza comes, I didn't just fall off the tomato truck and I have eaten my share of pizza. Next time our group goes for a pizza we will not go the Dave's! read more
