What if they had a crowd. We went to see Malcolm's List. It was us and one other pair. They other pair purchase their ticket online. Total attendance for evening showings was 6. The theatre was nice, seats okay, and sound/screen adequate. It is in the basement of a very old building so it smells damp. My husband and I were city dwellers most of our lives so we are no strangers to independent theatre and films, however Zeitgeist takes the prize. The first "preview" was a short on two lakes, Superior and one in Russia, made by teenagers. The actual films under preview were extremely "independent"; ones I'm sure will play in very few markets except major cities with film clubs. We hope Zeitgeist gets enough donations to stay in business and we are able to visit again next summer.

Overall, compared to Canadian theatres, I would consider the theatres in America to be an attraction and far more superior than any Canadian theatre that I have ever been in. Definitely worth it to have the experience if you ever go to America because it is completely different than Canada.

The tickets are discounted if you are taking a train ride. There are so many trains to not only check out on the outside but a lot of them you can climb aboard and check out the inside. How cool! They have the oldest known snow plow train in the world. So cool. Train Rides: Especially during the changing of the leaves time of year (autumn) make sure to book your tickets early & online cause certain train rides do sell out! The train ride was 75 minutes and it was fun to check out different train cars and the lower and upper decks of the coach trains. The leaves are starting to change color and they looked great. There's a place to buy treats inside the museum and on the train cars. You're also allowed to bring your own snacks and drinks on board too! Other than a huge chocolate brownie that was left on the floor of our seating area on the train that I cleaned up. We had a good time and even moved cars at the halfway point to get another view. Parking - there is free parking along the backside of the train museum if you score a spot otherwise there is a huge parking garage right next door.

Among a few other completely ridiculous mishaps in which the decc was responsible for the day of the wedding as well as during the wedding pertaining to prime rib that was completely uncooked... the worst of it all is that unknown to the bride and groom, a family member safely placed all gifts under the gift table... resulting in every gift being left behind after the wedding reception. The decc staff has placed blame on the bride and groom as well as the rest of the family/guests. They have not taken accountability at all whatsoever, which is very concerning being there is clearly a very dishonest thief working for them. The decc has completely ignored and disregarded all contact from the bride after the initial conversation where they proceeded to place blame elsewhere, extremely unprofessional. This place is completely ridiculous and I would not recommend for any reason. Will be sharing this experience with as many people as we can reach in hopes of saving others from having a horrible experience.

I said I liked the Celebration Ale by Sierra Nevada, then one of the gentleman ubruptly stood up and said "that reminds me I will show you out and lock the door behind you." The only explanation is, they must of thought I was a drunk because that's how I was treated. I perceived his FU tone of voice, and felt completely degraded to be ushered out the door. I wish I could of given them the zero star rating. The way I was handled gives me the feeling that this establishment has a superioriry complex. Your are mistaken the Lake is Superior, but your attitude was perceived as appallingly rude by this potential customer!
