It is a nice place in front of the bay. Pretty quiet. No DOGS allowed. Nice! The receptionists are very hospitable and kind. The only thing that I need to remark is the cleanliness. Needs to be improved a lot. Now the breakfast is not as expected. From 1 to 5 stars a 2. Besides all of that if they improved the cleanliness and breakfast, it is a come back.

WATCH OUT THEY MIGHT SCAM YOU We were charged $350, without any warning or phone call for supposed "smoking" on the balcony. Neither, I or the classmate who I was staying with smoke, nor did we even go out onto the balcony. After attempting to dispute, they sent photos as "evidence" which are such poor quality you can't even tell what they are. Posting this so that this hopefully doesn't happen to anyone else.

Clean & cozy. Friendly & helpful staff. Excellent views: Lake Superior in front & harbor behind. Fun nautical lawn decorations, like ship's wheel & anchors. Children's playground, pool, hot tub, exercise room, all clean & well maintained. Great variety of foods for included breakfast, including gluten free options. Comfy seating area with tv in lobby, with nice view of harbor & playground. Gift shop! Even teenage grandson enjoyed himself!

One of the best hotel to stay in Duluth. The location is great. One of the only places you can book a 1 night during summer months or weekends. The pool was clean and warm. Hot tub was a bit small but still great that they had one. There's free breakfast so can't complain. There's also free parking. Management was friendly and helpful. I wouldn't really buy anything from the hotel shop (goggles were crappy) but it's nice they have one in case you need anything. Overall, great hotel and will keep coming back.

I recently stayed here for a weekend with my brother, his sons (5 and 3 years old) and my dad. We all loved it! The suite was updated, clean, large, comfortable, with picturesque views! We couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend the weekend, watch boats, relax, etc. The location, just over the Lift Bridge, was close enough to the hub of Canal Park, but just far enough for the area to be quiet, and for us to feel tucked away. The staff at the hotel (Eric was the manager most of the time we were there), was incredibly knowledgable, friendly and helpful -- even able to answer the questions my dad had about the ships out our window, and the shipping schedule! The Park Point Marina Inn has the charm of a cozy little getaway, with the amenities and service of a big city hotel!

We had a LOVELY TIME at this place, and we stayed during Covid. Excellent precautions were taken. When we checked in we were given a packet with hand sanitizer and wipes (we also brought our own) and we're informed of all going on. Our room was roomy and comfortable and pretty clean. I wiped everything down with Clorox wipes, and did notice that the headboards had finger prints, etc....so they hadn't been cleaned :/ but other than that things were good. The breakfast was a packaged grab and go situation... and they had a great evrning camp fire out back. Adorable place, loved the vintage images of Duluth everywhere, and the balcony and the view of Marina. We would definitely stay here again!

Even after reading bad, outdated reviews, we decided to give it a go. So glad we did! Snively's lounge on the first floor is cute and pleasant. We enjoyed our 2 for 1 beer credits included with our room. This is a historical building, there will be noise. But, we weren't disrupted. The Rathskeller speakeasy down stairs is too cute. They weren't playing any jazz (which is common I guess) during our stay, which was fine by us. My hubby and I were celebrating our anniversary, and we loved our choices. Parking is simple enough, across the street in a secure ramp for $12 a day. If you read any reviews that there is a stinky Japanese restaurant on site.....that is outdated info. We stayed in room 3, two twin beds, lower level, shared bathrooms (2)....both have showers and we never encountered both being in use at once. Beds were comfy and the bedding was soft. We will definitely be back. Personally, I like no windows; I prefer to sleep in a cave. Lol. The elevator was a nice surprise. I need my knees replaced; stairs are not my friend. Lol.

You walk in and you're struck with a bit of awe and the grandeur and old design of the place, it truly is beautiful. But, as it's such an old building , there are flaws. If you want to get to the ballroom, you have to use the elevator. This thing is SLOW. And there are no stairs that will take you directly up to the ballroom, they were closed off (not sure why). And not only is the elevator slow but it mainly alternated between the lobby and main level that houses the community center so good luck getting to the ballroom in less than 5 minutes. But, once you finally arrive the place is very nice. They have a cute little coat check and everything was set up in advance of the event we hosted. We also asked for an additional table for name tags and they obliged immediately. The drinks here are STRONG but you won't see me complaining. They even had some winter seasonal cocktails you could order that sounded nice. The sit down dinner began with a salad, which was fine, and then we were released by table to go to the buffet (which isn't a buffet because you can't go back, but is served buffet style). The food was amazing. I was extremely stuffed and then they passed out the dessert. The cake was more like a thick fudge but was also very good. The acoustics in the room, when many people are talking at once, are not great. It's hard to hear and equally as hard to get people to be quiet. Because of this and the terrible elevators, I was tempted to give 3 stars but honestly, the food and service is just that good. They were willing to cater to whatever we needed.

Without them I know the night would have turned stressful, with them it was relaxing and a breeze.
