This place is seriously filthy and run down. My room is missing a door to the dresser and has dried white liquid all over. Lots of dried food (?) on the wall where the garbage can is. Bed has a huge divot in the middle. Clock doesn't work. I can hear my neighbors full conversation through the walls. Sink doesn't drain. It's the type of place that you keep the lights off to stop seeing the next stain. Room stinks of old cigarettes. Bar was decent. Has black jack and pull tabs. Get 4 keys because you're lucky if 1 is working within the first 6 hours. Handle half broke on dresser but left like that. read more

I really enjoyed my stay here. I don't think you will be disappointed either. The room are too notch too. The bed are way comfy and the place is very clean. I really liked the bar/casino that opens up downstairs at 5pm. I heard the spicy shrimp is really good that you can order from the bar menu. Adam who is the card dealer in the bar is super nice!! I had a good time playing BJ with him. I stayed in room 906 and it's on the top floor across the hall from my friend huge wedding suite. I found a literal roach in the room and they kindly let us switch rooms but none of them were cleaned. The new room we switched to had trash from the previous guest. My brother is staying today. And the hotel would not give me and my friend free coffee at 415 am. Because we could not provide a Room number yet. Super rude and mean cuz he won't be in til after 7am. I won't visit now cuz it was 0 degrees legit.we had to walk to a strangers apartment to keep warm who was nice enough to keep warm aka aquard. We thought we could just wait and hangout til he got there. What a shit show. I called to try and reconcile she hung up on me 3 times. It's so dated. Literally you have to be joking. The carpet looked like it was from the eighties. A vacuum might help. Paper thin walls. I could hear people coughing in next room. It's so beat up. This review is only as to banquet meals. The food quality is poor at best. The food presentation is even worse. The food seems to be for an institutional setting. I have had three meals there at group settings that were poor. We had prime rib the last time. It was all well done and some of it was very thin. Many could not eat it all. I believe you can request one, but honestly.... if Super 8 can figure this out... -Weird bathroom. It's not that it's small--ours was just weirdly arranged, with the door barely clearing the toilet so you have kind of wedge yourself in the corner to get the door open and closed. It also doesn't have ANY sort of fan or ventilation, which is annoying after a shower and downright awkward if you have traveling companions. -Unclear parking situation. There are two garages that connect to the hotel--one is directly attached and the other is across the street, connected by a skyway. We didn't find any signs indicating which to use, but during our stay the attached garage's arm was up the whole weekend so we didn't have to pay. read more

The staff were great but the place was rough. The room was horrible between the musty smell mixed with urine stank and stains. Very dated and ran through. Literally put our things on the table, slept (kinda), woke up early and left... we were almost in Montana before we got the automated "check out" text. Tbh the vibes were much like that of the classic dingy motel room from a movie a character books on a long road trip at the beginning of a horror or thriller movie. The front desk staff was friendly and my kids loved the pool. Our room smelled like mildew. There was visible water damage in multiple spots and mildew surrounding the AC unit. The bathroom wall was wet, swollen and the tile was pulling away from the wall. The drops of water that are visible were there when we arrived and we did not shower. read more

I would never stay again. Go to the Marriott in Bismarck - part of my family stayed there and we stayed here as it was closer to the wedding and I'm regretful. The rooms were damp and moist, bring a pair of slip ons to wear in the room, the carpet is crunchy and feels damp. The doors are paper thin both to the hallway and to the pass through door that can adjoin rooms. We however were next door to strangers and when they talked, used their alarm, etc.. it sounded like they were in our room. We also had children running up and down the hallways all night and between 6-7am. I did call to complain but it was too late. There was zero noise mitigation. They also hold weddings so the chance you're on the floor with wedding parties is high - run! It means you will never sleep. We are exhausted after spending two nights here. read more

This hotel is tired!!! It's a good location, however there is street construction all around it currently. Our room was basically an 8'x10' box... you had to shut the door of the bathroom before you could properly enter. Our toilet ran all night long. The hallway was super stuffy and had an unappealing whiff to it. The parking ramp was so narrow that a full size vehicle has to do some point turns before making it around the corners. I can't imagine you would need to stay here unless you're going to a wedding, or by some chance end up in Bismarck. But needless to say, don't book through a third-party site (in my case, it was hotels.com) and expect to get anything close to what you paid for when you check in! As I said, I booked a King room for a long weekend and arrived to discover that a wedding was going on in the hotel, so they put me in some dumpy handicapped room. I was appalled when I entered the room! A huge, metal trapeze-esque contraption right over the bed, and the shower had no flooring separate from the rest of the bathroom (to accommodate wheelchairs). I called the front desk and first asked for another room (and was told there was none available) and then asked if the trapeze could be removed. No such luck. So, I explained that I found it to be dangerous (you could easily hit your head on it sitting up in the middle of the night), and all of the sudden, they came through with a new room. And it was much nicer. I dined in the on-site restaurant once while I was there. It was empty and sad - and this was on a wedding weekend! The location is central to many things downtown, and the parking is free, but I can't think of much else about this hotel that I found acceptable. read more

The lobby is nice and the presidential suite our friend had was pretty nice. The guest rooms were reasonably priced, but that's about the only positive thing to say about this hotel. Rooms were small and dated and definitely could have been cleaner. Additionally, one of the nights we stayed, there there were 3 instances of someone screaming profanities in the hallway between 1:30 and 2:30 am. We asked the front desk about it but they said they knew who had done it but "couldn't catch them," which seemed to be an odd reply. Another night the parking garage, elevator, lobby and 4th floor all seemed to smell like weed. I would not stay here again. read more

Hotel room was not impressive as the carpet was very stained and had not been shampooed or clean for quite some time. There were several bright pink spots on the carpet. The wood was chipped and coming apart on the dresser. There was dust all along corners of the room and just did not make you feel that it was clean. What a scam. They supposedly offer discounts if one is utilizing services across the street at the hospital. I didn't know this when making reservations. 108 bucks online. When i checked in, informing them of my hospital visits, they lost my reservation. Hmmm....Imagine my surprise at the "discounted" rate at 107 a night. Add to this no shower curtain in the room. The towels were used to wipe up the floor. I enlightened the front desk. The curtain was replaced but no towels....until I went down at 9 o'clock PM and had to get towels. I complained but got me nowhere. Avoid if possible and shop around online. This is another example of today's America, profit before customer service. read more

Okay, this might be probably one of the only good hotels in this area. So I'm going to give this hotel the benefit of the doubt. But I've stayed at some amazing Radissons and this isn't one of them. The staff is incredibly nice and I needed a room with a fridge that they even switched me so a small suite room. Thank goodness because the original room with 2 double beds was awful, and was dark and creepy. The queen size bed room with a couch and kitchenette was a lot nicer! The beds are comfortable and clean and they have an indoor pool and jacuzzi. But seriously this gym is sad! I've seen Howard Johnsons with better gyms than this. But if you're here for a short visit, this is probably the best it can get. There is a good bar downstairs and local bars down the road. What an odd combination of old (very old) and not so old. I had a King room and it was huge. That's a good thing. It was decorated nicely, but even though it had been 'recently remodeled', the furniture had seen better days. The fire sprinklers were probably original. They were huge and rusted. The bath amenities were good. There was even a small shower pouf. I gotta say, I'm a pouf kinda of a guy. I really dislike showering with a wash cloth. So much so that I travel with a pouf. I buy them and then leave them in the hotel because there's no easy way to get it dry before I have to pack. Anyway... I saved a pouf because Radisson provided one. It was tiny, but it worked well. All the products in the bath smelled nice. The door and shower placement was a bit awkward and the toilet was about as low to the ground as any I've ever used. The bed was a sleep number bed! I was impressed, but i have to tell you, in general, what a horrible idea! A person has an option of 100 'numbers'. Now how crazy is that going to make a person. "Hmm, 45 is too soft. Should I try 46 or 47 or maybe I should just jump up to 50. Oh darn, now that's too firm." Seriously, the makers of this mattress should consider giving the user an option of 1 - 10. I mean, on a scale of 100, how much firmer can 46 be than 45? The wireless network rocked. Free parking right off the lobby... another plus. So I can deal with some of the anachronisms particularly since the hotel is walking distance from where I come to work and also smack dab in the middle of a number of decent restaurants. I'm returning next month and could have stayed elsewhere, but chose to stay here again. read more

Where should I start, place needs a complete revamp. TV didn't work, had to try and open door 3 times before I could get in room, this happened numerous times, got hot coffee spilled on arm and leg at breakfast.... I have to say the attendant at breakfast was very accommodating and picked up my breakfast but that didn't take care of the stain on shirt and slacks. The Bellman brought up new batteries but that didn't help the TV situation but very pleasant and helpful, said he would put a note in my folio but never heard anything from Front Desk. read more

Old, dated and stinky. The rooms are dated and not cleaned very well(pubes everywhere- yuck). The hallway smelled like dirty feet. The noise is intolerable- the a/c is old wall unit and is loud when it comes on. The soda vending and ice machine is right in the hallway so most rooms will hear the loud clanging. The toilet randomly made loud noises all night. The door slamming and hallway noise will wake you. I travel for business and most hotels will offer a quiet floor and a better room. No love for the business traveler here. Finally, we tried to have breakfast in the lobby. It took 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee and we waited another 15 minutes for breakfast order that never came, so we cancelled and left disappointed and hungry. I think I'll stay elsewhere next time and suggest the same to you. read more

Dated hotel that is showing its age. Small rooms with many imperfections on the walls and furniture. The door to the room doesn't seal to the floor so hallway light stares you in the face all night. Bathroom is clean enough. Parking structure is a rental car death trap with sharp turns and concrete walls. Breakfast is the only bright spot which is why this place gets two stars. read more

This hotel is dated and dumpy, but the room is clean. However, there is a peculiar smell to the room. There is quite a bit of road noise from motorcycles and cars as the hotel is located downtown, off East Main Street. I booked through Priceline, not knowing which hotel would be chosen for a lower rate. Priceline ratings are much higher than Yelp in reference to this Radisson. During our vacation, we stayed here in town for 2 nights. We had gotten a deal online at the last minute and we suspect that's why we were given the lousy rooms. Our room had no bath towels in it. I had to call and have them sent up. As other Yelpers noted, the rooms are a little on the cramped side. The furniture is just too big for the room. They provide you with Serta Sleep Number beds, but ours did not work properly and both of our remotes only worked on one of the beds. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. The trains going by at night are terribly noisy. I can deal with that though. It's the outside hallway that we could not deal with. It was absolutely horrible. We heard every noise out there and got hardly any sleep both nights. To make matters worse there were drunks out there both nights that kept screaming and arguing. Someone kept trying to get into our room too. We called the front desk and complained. They finally sent someone up to quiet them down. But, it was really terrible. On the positive side, they offer a lot of channels on their TV. A few movie channels even. They give you 2 complimentary bottles of water on the desk. The complimentary soaps smelled great. We ate breakfast at the little restaurant downstairs and it was very good. My favorite part of the hotel was the jacuzzi, or what they called whirlpool. It was fantastic. Definitely a plus for their hotel. It is located by the indoor pool. The pool I found to be just ok. It's a little hard to get in and out of (small ladders on each side instead of steps leading into it). I felt that whole area could have been kept up a little better. There were used towels all over and the chairs all askew. The first night I went to it there were no clean towels there. I had to go to the front desk and ask for some. I am not sure if I would not stay here again, considering we really got no sleep. I will say it's located in a convenient location though. read more

Pros: I promised the GM Lyle I would post a review. I was pretty nervous about staying here for a recent business trip after I read all the horrible reviews. Instead of calling my office and cancelling, I decided to just voice my concerns to the staff when I arrived. I was picked up from the airport promptly buy a gentleman named Mike ( if I remember correctly) and anytime I needed to leave/run an errand, Austin was there and very kind. We had a great convo on the way to the grocery store. Upon arrival I expressed my concerns to Lacey at the front desk and she assured me she and the rest of the staff would do everything to keep me happy and make sure I enjoyed my stay. Lacey did not disappoint! I travel often for work and wish the hotel staff were as kind and helpful as Lacey. I needed a room with a fridge as I have meds that need to be refrigerated and she made that happen without hesitation. The restaurant staff were extremely attentive as well. I wish I could remember all their names. There was gentleman named Dean who helped me rearrange my banquet room after my company failed to give them the appropriate setup. My room was clean and spacious and quite comfortable, although I didn't have a sleep number bed. That didn't bother me since I've never had one. Picked this hotel because it seemed to be the largest one in town to host our delegates. Having traveled a lot for work, I must say I was not impressed with their service. They don't seem to be used to handling groups or meeting and they don't have a system that flows. Their employees are not very proactive in keeping the hotel looking and feeling inviting. As far as room service, it failed for me, as well. I ordered twice and twice it was not right. I unfortunately left my joggin shoes behind and called them to work on them shipping to me, it took me calling three times and two weeks before I heard back from the Housekeeping department. read more

Location is great as far as that goes. Bars and restaurants are within walking distance. A theater literally across the street. Although, the hotel itself is pretty bad. The whole place just seems old and dirty. We initially checked into a room on the 6th floor. The entire floor smelled like mildew, as did our room, along with what we think was stale smoke. So we requested another room. They are tiny, and the Sleep Number beds are terrible! Would you like your air mattress hard as a rock, or deflated so that you bounce every time you move? Unless you want the convenience of being downtown, I would definitely stay some somewhere else. read more
