My Samsung S23 Ultra took a bad fall. Part of the screen's pixels died and the camera stopped working completely. I brought it into Campus Mobile Solutions, and CJ had it fixed in about 1-2 hours. I grabbed some food and caught up on work while I waited, and by the time I came back, it was ready to go. What stood out most was his honesty. He was upfront about pricing from the start, with no surprises and no upselling. The refresh rate was way too slow and there was a noticeable lag when I swiped through my phone. There was also a substantial difference in the colors on my screen. I immediately brought it to his attention and he said "that's normal. It will still work just fine" and offered no solutions to my problems. The next day I noticed something else not quite right about the screen; it's absolutely draining my battery life on my phone. My 15 pro max used to last all day of constant use and still have battery left at the end of the day. Now if I look at a text or scroll less than 5 TikTok's it will eat 10% of my battery. As far as the speed of the repair, if you really need something fixed fast I guess I would recommend them for that. If you want a quality repair with quality parts, find someone else to do the work.

When a woman from The Piano Shop responded to my inquiry, she began the call by saying, "I have nothing but bad news for you. Lester pianos were low quality pianos when they were made and this one is at the end of its life. You need to just walk away or find someone to take it to a dump." Yes, I kid you not, these were her opening words, my introduction to The Piano Shop. I told her I was not about to 'walk away' from a piano that's been in the family since the 40s (we are not concert pianists or Steinway owners, but maybe that's the clientele The Piano Shop prefers). She proceeded to tell me "We are only licensed to move pianos in Illinois." I told her we ARE in Illinois, right in Champaign. She actually tried to argue and, in an irritated tone one might use with a misbehaving 3-year-old, said, "No, the piano is in Indiana". She hadn't read the message properly, which clearly stated it had been moved to Champaign. After a short silence, she replied that she now saw that that was the case and said they would be able to move it for us for $175. I am totally willing to pay that, but it isn't going to be to The Piano Shop. After that insulting, smug interaction, I'd take the thing apart and haul it in my car before I'd hire them. If you are in the market for a snooty, condescending piano service, you're in luck. Perhaps The Piano Shop should consider updating their website to include the verbiage "We only accept work on expensive pianos that we deem worth it."

Getting a wax proof seemed to be standard at Champaign Jewelers, and had it not been perfect, Jamie would have had no problem sending feedback to make sure it was. She even researched where one of my rings came from so that same supplier could help match my custom ring's details! They also fixed the prior damage to my wedding ring! I later got the license plates delivered by mail. A week after buying the car I took it on a small trip to Chicago and back, and several warning light lit up. I called them immediately and they told me to bring the car in tomorrow morning. They took the car and fixed everything I had asked for, no questions asked, quickly, and most importantly free of charge. The problem turned out to be a faulty sensor, and the car has been running perfectly ever since. I gave them 5 stars because they delivered everything they promised, were fair and honest, and this is what matters the most when buying a car.
