I was contacted over the phone to participate with a health watch radio ad in my area, for four different announcements surrounding scheduling mammograms for Breast Cancer Screening. l never heard the ad. I've paid them via a check and a debit card for half of what we had agreed on. So, I'm out $210. dollars. I plan on disputing these charges. I don't know if I'll be successful recovering the money I'm out. I have been hit a number of times financially by trusting people. Obviously, I've got to just hang up or tear up anything even remotely like this scam in the future. People are looking for easy money and know their scrips well. Vague when they need to be too. Please avoid this Company completely! read more

Some salesperson called my company in February 2023. The salesperson pitched me on sponsoring a radio ad for veterans. I told him I was open to the idea but I would first need to research his company and verify the affiliation they had with the local radio station. I called 95.1 (they radio station they claimed to be representing). To little surprise the radio station hadn't heard of them. At that point I knew they were just scammers. The salesperson sent me an email (attached) the same day on 02/28/2023. The email was assuming a sale. Nothing wrong with that so far. On that very same day I replied to his email saying "After speaking with the radio station, while inquiring about your affiliation, I've decided I will NOT be doing any business with your organization". Call me crazy but I don't know any possible way they could consider that as authorization?? On March 23,2023 I received another email from RAI (Attached) where I again told them, "I told your rep we were not accepting your offer". Didn't think anything more of it until two days ago where they sent us a bill for $800 claiming we authorized their services on 02/28/2023. We have since filed a report with the FTC, The Ohio Attorney General's Office, and the Chicago Police. From the looks of it, this is a scam these people have been running for a while. Not only are they billing people for something they never had authorization to do, they are also claiming to run ads on radio stations that never aired. For everyone else out there that got ripped off by these people, I would urge you to report it the your attorney general's office, the FTC and the police. They'll keep scamming people until they're locked up. We've got to do our part. read more

I received a phone call in February about having my in-home daycare run an ad on a local radio station on the prevention of Child Abuse. I told the salesperson on the phone that I wouldn't agree to pay for advertising, but he could mail me in the information, and I'd take a look at it. I was trying to be polite. BIG MISTAKE. I received an invoice in the mail today for $490 along with a copy of the broadcast announcement they say will be played throughout the week of March 27. The announcement uses my home address. I will call the billing department Monday. I did not agree to this ad. read more

Radio Accounting Service - Bill for ad I did not authorize. - Advertising Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I was cold called since I have a business. The person asked if I would be interested in sponsoring a reminder to listeners about Breast Cancer detection with multiple radio ads, locally. Being in a health field career, I thought it would be beneficial to listeners and to get clients to contact me. I foolishly didn't do my research in this scam based company and NEVER heard one ad on the station I was told it would be aired multiple times. I did pay half of the money and could dispute it. I reached out to the initial guy who called me and he back tracked and avoided answering my questions. I'm now called often in a harassing manner with threats of damaging my credit rating. I just keep blocking the numbers they call me from. Hang up and block this SCAM based company if they contact you. read more

Very shady company. Do your research before they screw you as well. RAI has sales people claiming to work for radio stations in your area. If you agree and then cancel they will still hit you with a bill. A total of 9 adds over three days costs $325.00 a total and complete joke. DO NOT AGREE to anything they never accept your cancellation even in the cancellation time period. read more

My experience is the same as everyone else. Called me about running an ad on the radio for veterans. I told them to mail me some info. They never sent anything and I didn't approve anything and then the invoices for $410 start coming in. Then repeated phone calls from all kinds of different numbers begging for me to pay this debt or they send me to collections. I told them to send me something that shows I approved anything and they claim they can't send it to me, only to collections, but they would take $220 to settle. I said I don't owe you so why would I pay anything and they say ok $140. Clearly just trying to get my card info. They call and text constantly and they won't stop and it's been over 2yrs now! So sick of scammers!!! read more

This company is a complete SCAM. They pitched my significant other on the phone saying "they want to help support promote veteran businesses." He had a 10 minute long conversation with someone named Jay Carter about the opportunity. He never signed any paperwork, never agreed to any advertisements, never had any more conversations with the person. AND THEN BAM a bill hit him for $450. Literally we are on the phone with this company and they are not removing this bill. COMPLETE SCAM! read more

Do Not trust these people! They called my place of business and said they were doing a "breast cancer" fundraiser. I said sounds good, need you to send over all info to my email that I can get approved. NOT one single email, Months later received call from a very rude representative stating we owed to over 400 dollars. They "said" they did a radio ad for us! Also the ad they supposedly did was offering a service we don't even provide. I have gone around and around and they have literally hung up on me. We have been in business for over 10 years and very good rated company, Do not let these people push you around. My lawyer is involved. I'm perturbed i had to even check one star....they shouldn't receive an they are scamming people!! I intend to to contact the BBB and also put a review on every single search engine available, to help others not have this happen to them! read more

We have been "supporting the local" community by running ads for child abuse prevention, back to school safety, etc for YEARS. When it came time to file our 1099s we reached out to the area radio station only to be told that this is a scam out of Chicago. Naturally we are not going to pay them yet they continue to call repeatedly. This last time I received a call from our "account representative, Bobby" that we have worked with for years. She has always been super polite and a joy to work with. When I again politely informed her that we would not be paying because they are fraudulent she proceeded to say "BI*CH, GET OFF MY PHONE" and hung up on me. Class act for sure, beware and stay away from these people. read more

This slick salesman gets my boss on the phone (I'm usually there to screen them). He talks my boss into some scam radio ad. We have been asking for a copy of the ad since 4/27 and you can see the date now. What do you know? No ad, no response, no emails, no returned phone calls. Nothing. So now I have an invoice with nothing to back it up or even a recording of what they supposedly aired. Beware of the scam. Update: Finally got a copy of the ad. Not worth the ridiculous amount of money they charged for it. read more

This is such a scam. One of our employees who was unauthorized to make marketing decisions agreed to this ad. I didn't recognize the radio station it supposedly aired on so I searched the internet and what do you know? The station no longer exists and the owner died in recent months at the age of 96, having retired years ago. These people are so sleezy. I did get to hear a recording of our employee approving the ad and the subsequent conversation he had with the salesman. At the end of the conversation, he said, "Hey, if you see any vets out there, give them a hug for me!" I can't believe people take advantage of people sympathetic to veterans, as well as small businesses that are trying to stay afloat. I truly don't understand how they can stay in business!! read more

I couldn't select no stars so I had to put one down to put a review So they need to have a no star selection for review Total scam Never heard one advertisement in 3 years read more

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. The sales team working for this company will fast talk you and say anything to get you to buy a radio ad, "BEWARD". You will be billed for a bogus ad. read more

SCAM. They use the guise of supporting the troops or welcoming the veterans home to trick you into advertising spots on your local radio stations. In my case, they got the call letters and radio station dial number wrong, kept pressing that because she (Stephanie Bruno, a fake name I'm sure) was working from home she was hard to get ahold of and that I should just say yes now-- all obvious scammer red flags. I told her I needed to talk to my partner so I could get off the phone in order to call my local station to inquire about their Returning Veterans ads, Google the potential scam artist's number and call them back. The "operator" was the same woman I had spoken to and she was struggling off-script as "people don't usually return phone calls." I let her sweat as she tried to "find me on the call log" (I gave her a different phone number that I bet she was Googling in order to pull up my business name) before finally asking her to transfer me to someone who could answer the question why they were a bunch of scamming scumbags. She barely kept calm to tell me that was my opinion which I replied it is also a popular opinion of her fake company on the internet. She then hung up on me. My local small radio station was not involved and very upset this scam exists. How do these losers sleep at night? read more

-0- Stars This company called & sold me "Salute to the Troops" sponsored ads that were to be played on a local Classic Rock Radio Station. After some research, I found out that the station never played these ads & they do not contract with this company. Beware of this SCAM company & do not respond to them if contacted. If you want to advertise with a local radio station, they will contact you or you can call them directly. I am so glad that I didn't pay upfront as they had requested. read more

so yelp decided to remove my review hi ace, we wanted to let you know that we've removed your review of radio accounting service. our support team has determined that it falls outside our content guidelines (http://www.yelp.com/guidelines) because it lacks a firsthand customer experience. ---------------------------- my company is xmoddz which is a veteran owned company as me being the disabled veteran with a 30% rating and i was contacted by this company and they keep sending me bills for an advertisement that was supposedly aired without my consent is that proof enough yelp, or should i send you a copy of the bill from this company i am taking a screenshot of this as well read more

They ended up not even being contracted with the companmy they say they represented because when I called the station no one knew of them. Then they called over and over for 11 months trying to get me to pay their bill! Horrible customer service and their sales reps are very low educated as you can tell form their poor grammar and sentence structure. read more
