I had a good feeling about Mei from the beginning because when making an appointment there is a detailed questionnaire. At my first appointment she took the time to talk with me and was so compassionate and kind. I felt immediate relief after my first appointment and it just continues to get better each time. Mei offers Tuina Chinese massage, fire cupping, and acupuncture and you can book either a 1 hour session for one side or a 2 hour session for both sides. I always book the 2 hour sessions and highly recommend it! It's well worth the price as she provides high quality care. It is clean and welcoming inside and a very relaxing environment. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs pain relief, relaxation, and/or self-care. Whether you're kama'aina or visiting, definitely book a session!

Dr. Burton was referred to me by a friend that had suffered terrible injuries from a horrible car accident. This Dr. is genuine and caring for your well being. My friend was addicted to heavy narcotic pain killers. He started a holistic pain management with Dr. Barton and is now managing his pain with the help of natural herbs instead of the pharmaceuticals that can cause liver, heart and kidney problems. AI have visited Dr. Barton myself and have been tapering off two prescriptions myself and feel so much better. He is a wonderful, kind and compassionate Dr. Very hard to find on this Island. If you have problems with pain to back, neck head or depression or other problems like bi-polar etc.. The clinic has a weekly "Blue Card Clinic" on Thursdays from 10 am to 1 pm for medical evaluations and applications for State of Hawaii Medical Cannabis Licenses. Clinics are first come, first serve. NO APPOINTMENTS ARE MADE. (Second location is in Waimanalo, at the Native Hawaiian Model Agricultural Village of Pu'uhonua O Waimanalo). Come and meet with us. We are promoting Cannabis as a medicine (Medical Marijuana). We have a NEED FOR POLITICAL ACTION. SEE HOW YOU CAN BE INVOLVED. ALOHA. ABOUT Dr. David J. Barton M.D.: David J. Barton MD has been a physician for over 28 years. He is board certified in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine. Past board certifications include General Surgery (1992) and Plastic Surgery (1995). Lifetime member of the prestigious American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Present member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine and the International Cannabinoid Research Society. Military service: United States Army Reserve, General Surgeon, Medical Corp Officer, Major, 1990-1999, with temporary active duty in Desert Storm. Current Chief Medical Officer of Malama First, LLC., a non-profit organization for the enhancement of healthcare and well being in native Hawaiians. E-Mail: hawaiipain@gmail.com I was a practicing plastic surgeon until I developed neck pain and cervical disc hernias. I had two level neck fusion surgery which made things worse, a not too uncommon result of cervical spine surgery. I have lived in the "Pain World" for over 15 years. I retrained in Pain and Palliative Care at the University of Utah in 2003, completing a rigorous fellowship which allowed for my third board certification. I was an orthodox Pain Doc until I came to realize that there are a lot of holes in regular "western" or what I call "corporate" medicine. A lot of conditions and syndromes do NOT have good or satisfying treatments, and people and families are left to suffer. Too many of my patients just lived month to month on a handful of different types of medications, all of which were narcotics, or heavily controlled substances, leading to dependency. If the goals of improved functionality and well-being are of prime importance, then any substance or effective treatment technique is valid. There is NOTHING morally superior about pills and patches and pharmaceutical drugs, versus a plant that is well known for its safety. Some can even claim that "Herbs" are ordained of God. That is the bottom line: it is safer than nearly all the usual medications out there! I am not advocating that patients start smoking pot. There are other delivery systems and modalities which are quite promising in the reduction of pain, including ointments, lotions, tinctures, and edibles besides the use of vaporizers. The truth of reality is that the majority of patients prefer to smoke cannabis, which allows for easy tit-ration or metering of the dosage. Shortly, I will have up on this website a lot of the scientific and medical studies which show the exciting world of cannabinoids, and how they "fill the gaps" in the medical world of pain. I have an old website at www.ecpain.com if you would like to learn more about pain, and the various wisdom of coping with it. Another bottom line is the fact that those who suffer with chronic pain and other disabling conditions will do whatever it takes to obtain relief, even if it does not follow the dictates of the Federal Government, or the personal opinions of some law enforcement individuals, who might feel some special privilege in acting against medical cannabis patients, the law and the Will of the People of Hawaii. All Hawaiians must stand for what is right in protecting those who are the most at risk and least able to protect themselves. There is enough shame and fear in the world, let alone the world of disability and pain. There is a great deal of suffering in the world. Most politicians and regulators do not see it. Perhaps they are just not compassionate. Medical Cannabis can be the best answer for many of these poorly treated conditions.

This is where I was meant to go! Booked an appointment with the sweet receptionist and was welcomed by Dr. Annie. She listened, assessed, and offered some advice. I was a bit skeptical because no other acupuncturist has been able to live up to the standard and treatment I received from my home acupuncturist on Kaua'i. However, I have found a lifesaver in Dr. Annie in O'ahu. Went in with difficulty breathing and feeling clogged. No energy and so much tension in my neck, back, and lower back. Dr. Annie performed acupuncture, gua sha, and culling. AMAZING! I felt immediate changes in my breathing and energy/blood flowing more freely throughout. Thank you, Dr. Annie! Booked one more session before returning home, and have already recommended her services to my family members who live locally. New visitor and initial fee:$100 Added Gua Sha:$60 Used my Yelp discount (when you check in online):-$10 Total with tax and fees: $161 Worth all of it! Care. Compassion.

I had always love getting cupping because overall it made me feel a lot better and help with the blood flow. I've only ever did acupuncture once but it wasn't on my neck just my back, ankle, and arms. Today Dr. Annie Yang saw me and immediately can tell where I need care the most. I've never had cupping done on my neck before or acupuncture so this was a first. I also needed to do Gua sha per Dr. Annie's recommendation and I'm very happy I did. I'm too embarrassed to post my pictures but I will say I've never seen my neck this red and purple before no one has ever done it for me. I know my back and shoulders are usually purple whenever I do cupping and I definitely needed to go more often than not, but it gets pricey. I like that Central Earth Acupuncture actually takes medical as well so usually acupuncture is covered. I definitely will be coming back because I need to fix my bodies problems even if it's a little costly. After the first treatment, I feel a lot looser and when Dr. Annie was pressing on the pressure point where it was hurting on the left side, it doesn't hurt anymore like the pre-treatment.

Was provided a good long time with them once a month hour long sessions. The first gal - I had she was daaaaa BOMB - really got into all the areas that really addressed my issues - especially having hyper flexibility issues. Had my last session - and was told they would provide all the info over to the VA for renewal - Got the text to call up the VA Community Care Network to get it all reauthorized - I literally just got off the phone with the Community Care network and was told by them - all the proper paperwork was filled in and just a matter of time to get it all renewed. Every time I have come in - ALL the staff are so loving and supportive - I see the work that the physical therapists do with with the variety of clients they have. It is amazing to see progress in several people just being a "client" myself. They are so accommodating to time and issues - and if any schedule conflicts come up they are most accommodating to rescheduling within reason to make a new appointment. They use tons of modern equipment, new techniques and styles learned by tried and true methods. Just massage alone cracks so many of my joints it not even funny - (blessings and curses having hyper flexibility) but it eases up so much of my over all aches and pains and decreases my risk for further injury. I really think everyone overall needs to get a good chiropractic back cracking just to really see how often we neglect to care for our proper spinal alignment - it so important - I ensure to exercise as well walking, yoga, weigh lifting within my means - everyone should get to know their bodies better! These guys rock - on and Vets - they even offer meals to honor Veterans! Sadly I missed out on that meal - maybe next year - but I greatly appreciate the fact they offered it! 10/10 in my books!!!!!!
