I decided to try this location…read morefor the first time after reviewing a few Yelp suggestions and also reaching out to another location that was booked through October. This is where I was meant to go! Booked an appointment with the sweet receptionist and was welcomed by Dr. Annie. She listened, assessed, and offered some advice. I was a bit skeptical because no other acupuncturist has been able to live up to the standard and treatment I received from my home acupuncturist on Kaua'i. However, I have found a lifesaver in Dr. Annie in O'ahu. Went in with difficulty breathing and feeling clogged. No energy and so much tension in my neck, back, and lower back. Dr. Annie performed acupuncture, gua sha, and culling. AMAZING! I felt immediate changes in my breathing and energy/blood flowing more freely throughout. Thank you, Dr. Annie! Booked one more session before returning home, and have already recommended her services to my family members who live locally. New visitor and initial fee:$100 Added Gua Sha:$60 Used my Yelp discount (when you check in online):-$10 Total with tax and fees: $161 Worth all of it! Care. Compassion.

VA outsourced me to these folks to address a lot of chronic back issues I have cuz VA couldn't…read moreresolve the issues. Was provided a good long time with them once a month hour long sessions. The first gal - I had she was daaaaa BOMB - really got into all the areas that really addressed my issues - especially having hyper flexibility issues. Had my last session - and was told they would provide all the info over to the VA for renewal - Got the text to call up the VA Community Care Network to get it all reauthorized - I literally just got off the phone with the Community Care network and was told by them - all the proper paperwork was filled in and just a matter of time to get it all renewed. Every time I have come in - ALL the staff are so loving and supportive - I see the work that the physical therapists do with with the variety of clients they have. It is amazing to see progress in several people just being a "client" myself. They are so accommodating to time and issues - and if any schedule conflicts come up they are most accommodating to rescheduling within reason to make a new appointment. They use tons of modern equipment, new techniques and styles learned by tried and true methods. Just massage alone cracks so many of my joints it not even funny - (blessings and curses having hyper flexibility) but it eases up so much of my over all aches and pains and decreases my risk for further injury. I really think everyone overall needs to get a good chiropractic back cracking just to really see how often we neglect to care for our proper spinal alignment - it so important - I ensure to exercise as well walking, yoga, weigh lifting within my means - everyone should get to know their bodies better! These guys rock - on and Vets - they even offer meals to honor Veterans! Sadly I missed out on that meal - maybe next year - but I greatly appreciate the fact they offered it! 10/10 in my books!!!!!!

I would still come here even if I had to pay out of pocket. AMY!! Is AMAZING!! As someone on a fixed income; this MATTERS. Aloha original review: I was excited to see Dr. Lipat from her website, reviews etc. but was very disappointed when I actually saw her in person ...WHY? Because she says she is a chiropractor as well as energy healing, etc.--so I expected a more thorough evaluation and varied treatment. But after telling her I had a health challenge and was just coming off traditional treatment, wanting to get my energy back, and that my neck was out and hurting...she informed me she only does mainly 'energy healing' now. So, I lay down for her session, only to realize she was reading a form, doing vague muscle testing and going down a list I assume was for every patient. She checked what was good/not etc from that. She READ prepared affirmations then, for an hour? Then sprayed me with some Bach flower remedies. All I got out of this very $$$ (170.00) hour was a guided meditation I could have done at home. I gave her a hug and HOPED somehow she DID something. I love alternative medicine, am a retired surgeon who grew up in Hawaii and used Chinese Medicine al through College, Japanese magnets from Mom, herbs etc all my life--and energy healing too. I can FEEL energy healing and got ZERO from Dr. Lipat. So I waited 3 weeks, as she said it takes time to 'assimilate'. NOTHING. Dr. Lipat must educate herself more about my type health challenge as many of the items she said were good for me were NOT. High glycemic things, under cardiac/hormones she wrote 'hormones'--which means WHAT? Helping Foods? Many HIGH starches, glycemic foods that FEED my disease, Some of the BEST herbs were not checked at all, rec's high starches were recommended...etc etc etc. I feel, IMHO, that her personal do's and don't are imprinted to sway her testing because SO MANY of what she said were 'bad' are NOT for what I have. But common consensus says they are. (Ex: all nightshade veggies are bad) Whole grains 3/day? WTF? This FEEDS my disease! And what was good was not mentioned, what was BAD was recommended! I'm sorry--she seems like a VERY nice Human, but her treatment was a total waste for me; many of her recs would be dangerous for me, so I'll PASS here. Nothing personal; just NOT for me. At least I gave her a shot. I just was very disappointed from all the glowing reviews--she definitely has her 'fan club' on Yelp! aloha

A dear friend had let me know that she had shared some experience, and that if I wanted to give it a shot I should go in and ask Antonio what he thought. After watching him work during a community acupuncture event I finally had the courage to ask for a treatment. He made me feel comfortable and at ease with my fears and assured me that we would go slow. Ever since that first treatment I have been hooked. I also highly recommend getting cupping and gua sha especially if you have chronic pain and inflammation or any issues with lymphatic drainage. Thank you Antonio for giving me my faith in acupuncture again! Would absolutely recommend even if you're afraid of needles. He has a very light touch and a calming presence.
