You do not have to dream about going to some overrated giant store in new york city to get a boutique experience with a gorgeous dress. My daughter lives in Manhattan and chose to come home and shop at radiant. She had an idea in mind of what she wanted , and that's exactly what they pulled. She put it on and lit up and cried, we ordered immediately. When she received it , it fit her like a glove, absolutely no alterations needed except a few inches from the bottom for her shorter stature. The sales girl was very nice and accommodating. I am considered a "plus size bride" wearing a size 12. So to try & find me dresses to even try on was a struggle ( she put me in dresses that were size 16-24 which was totally fine and could be taken in, as they had a section with plus size dresses) however the selection was honestly... just okay. Rough experience. Aesthetically nice, but not on the inside where it matters. Our specialist made a few condescending comments to the point we walked out after 25 minutes. One comment insinuated the person I brought to the appointment was a grandma, no offense to grandmas, but it is not a comment that someone wants to hear. She also made an odd comment about people who online date but at least she acknowledged a lot of those individuals support her workplace... A lot of the dresses on the rack had makeup caked on the front inside. This was my first dress shopping experience so maybe that's normal and I won't fault them for how disgusting that is. The lady apologized and the owner emailed me but you never know if it is genuine or just trying to save face. Who knows, can't go back after such a horrendous experience. When I got engaged, I immediately knew I was coming here. I went to high school with the owner's daughters, as well as my bridal consultant! It was such a relief to see a friendly face when I walked in, especially since I had no idea Bre worked here. I managed to get in and out with my dress before they moved to the new location. I brought my mom with me for my appointment and it went very smooth. Bre let me walk around the show room to pick out 4-5 dresses, which seems harder than it sounds. After trying on all four dresses, Bre was patient enough to allow me to try on my two favorites again. My sister and niece live out-of-state, but we were allowed to FaceTime them while trying on the final two. Everything was finalized and went better than I could've expected. I was told the current turnaround time for dresses is 6-9 months, not including alterations. I ordered my dress in early October and it arrived right before New Years! My Grandaughter purchased her dress from Radiant Bride. The in Salon experience was good, no concerns there. The gown is beautiful. But then the consultant ordered her Wedding gown in a size 8. My Grandaughter is a size 2-4 at the most. The dress just hangs on her. When she tried it on, she was told that she would just have to get it altered, another cost on top of the cost of the gown. The cutest- but most stocked - bridal shop around Cleveland!! After going to a couple stores, I stumbled upon Radiant Bride's website. It was kind of a "eh why not" decision to make an appointment. The store is a cute little house that is so well kept and decorated. Inside they have 8 racks of wedding gowns. They are all separated by designer. Some of the designers are Essence of Australia and Allure. The rooms are well lit and really make the gowns sparkle. The workers are all SO friendly. They are SO helpful. I was lucky enough to have my consultant be the owner. She is the sweetest lady. She shared how she came to this place when it was a different bridal store and just thought how she would want to own a bridal store...turns out the current owner was selling and she was willing to buy! Throughout my appointment, which they all an hour and a half for, she was beyond helpful. She first allowed me to look through all the racks and pick out what I wanted to try on. She helped me get them all on and was very patient. She was not pushy at all. Toward the end of my appointment she went to grab some she thought I may like.. turns out she was soo correct! She took into account my budget and style preference. She made the day great. She grabbed some accessories and styled me up when I found my dress. I think it's a beautiful to place to look for your dress. It was located in rocky river on one of the main streets. There was parking behind the place and if it would be full you could find other parkings near by. The store was made in older home and gave you a feeling of the coziness. The hostess was super nice and kept pouring me champagne lol My girlfriend tried to choose dress from their selection. The selection was big! And some dresses were amazing. She tried at least 10 different dresses. The price range was from 1400-2500 and wait time was around 4-5 months. Although we didn't choose the dress, we found couple favorites. I want to first start off by saying that my experience at Radiant Bride was awesome. My consultant was knowledgeable and helpful around getting me into the right gown for me. Recently my fiancé and I have had a life altering experience. I requested a refund for my mother. My dress (very expensive gown) that my mother put 50% of a deposit down on, that hasn't even been delivered to the store and won't be until October, cannot be refunded and nobody at the shop will work with us on any sort of resolution. My mom and I contacted Radiant Bride and explained our situation. We had several back and forth calls and at the end of the day, they offered us nothing. We understood that due to the contract, we couldn't get the refund. But we offered solutions we felt were fair. We got the cold shoulder with no compassion or care that we are now out a couple thousand dollars and we do not even have the dress. I'm extremely upset for my mom. This is completely unfair and shame on the owner for not providing some sort of solution. I thought considering our situation we could work something out. I was wrong and I'm very disappointed. Not everyone can lose a couple thousand dollars and receive nothing and be okay. We didn't want this either. Life happens and we were seeking some understanding. I highly recommend Radiant Bride! The stylist that was assigned to me, Hope, was very helpful from the start- we communicated long before the appointment and this helped make the in-person appointment very smooth. She had already picked out all of my favorite styles and while I am extremely picky, I was able to choose my dress within the hour of my visit!, which I did not expect. Hope was very attentive to my questions (and very patient) and requests. As we were going through the different dresses that she and I picked out, Hope was able to hone into my final dress of choice, which I was extremely pleased about. I must also mention that I am only 3.5 months away from my wedding and they helped me order my dress on time! I visited a couple of bridal shops and this was my favorite from the minute I walked in. It was a cozy shop that makes your dress buying experience feel personal and intimate. I brought a large group of about 8 people with me, which is sometimes frowned upon on in boutique stores. However, we were welcomed with open arms offering whatever we needed to feel comfortable. Libby was so helpful giving suggestions on more dresses that I might like to try on, and was quick to answer any questions I had. She was also great at helping me get in the gowns before I walked out to show everyone. Well, as it turns out, they had the most beautiful dresses and I liked every single one. When I finally narrowed it down to two, I decided to leave and go to lunch to think about it. When I came back in, Libby let me try on "the dress" again to get a few pictures! Their stock was beautiful and reasonably priced. The majority of their stock can be purchased and customized and one designer that's been seen on say yes to the dress. They also have a small selection of discounted dresses that you can buy off the rack and if you're okay with buying a dress that's been tried on but never worn you can save yourself a significant amount of money and the one I tried on was super beautiful and not in bad shape. I loved finding my dress at Radiant Bride! It is such a cute little shop in downtown River. Ellen helped give my mom and I the best experience! I live out of town and was only able to make an appointment on Monday morning, after the Essence of Australia trunk show was over. Ellen kindly offered to open the store early so I could still shop the trunk show! I found my dress in under an hour! She also helped me try on veils and let my mom take pictures!
