What an AMAZING experience!!! I did my due diligence by looking for preferred gowns online. This was my first stop and I really was going to see what I liked and what fit my body type. I went as far as to create screenshots to take with me to see if there were comparable gowns in my price range. My heart was set on this one particular gown and as luck would have it, they had it in stock, just not in my size. No biggie. I tried on the bigger size they had. Not what I was expecting, so that was a hard no. My stylist then pulled another gown that was comparable to one of the screenshots and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! I tried on a few other gowns that were beautiful but none compared to this one. Needless to say, I said "YES to the Dress!" My stylist, Sydney and her colleague, Autumn were absolutely amazing. I had such a strange time here. I made an appointment but the store was almost empty when I came in. I don't even see a salesperson or someone to greet us for a few minutes. Once we found someone and were led to the back, I was helped by a woman that didn't have much experience or tact. I don't think I got to try the dresses that I wanted, even when I explained what I was looking for. The saleswoman brought me a few interesting gowns, but only 2 of the 8-10 were actually what I was hoping for. While she was helping me change, she asked me if I wanted a corset bra top. I said no thanks - while not small my ladies don't need help. She then asked what my bra size was, which was just strange when you have already started trying dresses on and are standing basically naked in a changing room. To top things off, she stopped bringing me dresses I wanted, but did bring me a dress she liked - even though it was not the color, style or cut I wanted. My drive to the closest location is 40 minutes. upon arriving I was told they accidentally booked me for a fitting, instead of a styling. so I was unable to try on dresses and had to reschedule. I did just that. I scheduled two days out at a time of their choosing. I get an email the day before stating that they have overbooked and need to reschedule me! not only is this unprofessional, but it is putting a rain cloud over what should be a happy experience! read more

Went in to get the girl child a prom dress. Sh a decided THIS WEEK she wanted to prom that's in 2 weeks! I digress. We went to David's Bridal to see what they had. Of course they had many dresses but she was looking for a particular color and style. Again, prom is in 2 weeks. So she found few dresses to try on. Once the dressing room was opened, the staff was nowhere to be found. I helped her zip up, find new sizes, etc. No one was there to see if it needed to be altered (luckily no). Not the type of service I'm used to at a David's Bridal. When we renewed our vowels, and we went to a location to find new dresses, I got so much help. It was awesome. This wasn't that. I just shrugged it off. When we got to the register, the lady was adamant that we sign up for their Diamond program. I only go into this store when I need to which has been twice in 6 years. Signing up for stuff is just going to send more emails. They asked who helped us. NO ONE! Again, I digress. As we were leaving, another family came in looking for prom dresses and they were getting a lot of assistance immediately. The hubs said don't worry about, we got what we came for. My consultant, Morgan was great when I was picking out my dress. That's the only positive thing I can say about this store. The management is trash, and alterations is a disorganized mess. I scheduled an appointment for 10:30am, arrived on time and was told the alterations employees were not present yet. I waited 10 minutes before a manager came over and told me there was a mistake and I needed to come back later. I couldn't return later, I scheduled at the appointment time I chose for a reason. I don't even want this dress anymore and I would never recommend this store to anyone. read more

I would stay far away from the North Olmsted location. They have low stars for a huge reason. It was a complete nightmare getting 2 bridesmaids dresses for my 2 daughters here. The alterations lady stained, marked up the dresses in pen, body shamed one of my daughters to cover up that she took in too much material - my daughter was in tears. They ordered replacement dresses that came in 3 sizes too small and had to be rush shipped. Long story short, we went thru 3 dresses per girl, 7 alterations appointments for each girl. I had to pull my daughter from college to go to the excessive alterations appointments, I pulled my other daughter from softball games to go to excessive alterations appointments, myself taking vacation time to work this. AND they WILL hang up on you if you hold them to the date of the wedding. You HAVE to walk in there in person to make sure they do their job...but that takes time out of your day, vacation time, and God help you if your daughters are out of town for this. After every screwup you get thrown in the back of the line for alterations so girls who got their dresses months after you get priority. It comes a time that the wedding date is dictating the urgency and we should have been first priority to get our dress in time for the wedding...but the North Olmsted manager will get mad at you and fight you on this. It took us multiple people involved to push the manager to do her job. DOCUMENT everything in writing. After getting my husband, mother in law, and mother of the bride involved we finally got the dresses back 2 1/2 weeks BEFORE the wedding! We were working all of the issues for 8 MONTHS and we had plenty of time...but David's bridal kept making serious errors at every step of the way. Steer clear of this place...they do not care if you get your dress by wedding time. MAKE sure to thoroughly examine the dress for huge oil stains from the sewing machine (which they cannot get out btw). NOT worth the stress. My daughter's teacher had the same issues BUT at another location so this all is probably a company wide issues. Please please please GO SOMEWHERE ELSE if you want your dresses for your wedding date. read more

I set up a same day appointment at the David's Bridal- North Olmsted location. I was not expecting to find the dress of my dreams here. In fact, this is the first time I would be trying on gowns. I thought DB would be a good place to start and figure out what style I like. From the minute I walked in, everyone I came in contact with, had a smile on their face. I was sent over to look at the dresses for a few minutes, and I was impressed by their variety. They have a style for everyone, although I was only interested in 2-3 of them. I was set up with Anne, who was absolutely delightful. I showed her a photo of an A-line gown I was previously interested in, and although it was an online only style, she directed me to a few other options. It was the second dress I tried on, and I was just in love right away. Anne was pleasant and had a smile on her face during my entire appointment with her. We tried various belts, veils, etc until I found the ones I truly loved to go along with the dress I chose. I also met with Suhad in Alterations who with her expertise, helped perfect the dress and accessories. She was so kind and sweet. I felt like I've known her for years. She did not shy away from her honest opinion which was what I really needed at the time since I came to my appointment alone. Both ladies were so pleasant and made my experience memorable. I cannot say enough good about this store and those who work here. I had two appointments scheduled for the day, the first at David's. As a plus-size bride-to-be, I was quite nervous about the appointment. When I went into the store I was surprised by how many dresses were available - and all were available to try on in my size. Our consultant was Dakota - and I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone, regardless of size. She suggested that I pull three dresses and she would pull two additional 'wildcards'. Well, one of her wildcards ended up being exactly right - so much so that I canceled my second appointment and purchased it! I've seen some reviews of the salon that were unfavorable, but I would like to say that this experience was absolutely the best and I think it's worth it for anyone to visit. My fiance and I stopped in David's Bridal show a few days ago to look around for gowns and accessories. We found a box that said, "RING SECURITY" how fitting considering my fiance's a security guard at RMFH as his second job. Today, February 10, 2022, he went to buy it for our wedding and the sale's rep was very rude. She followed him through the store and followed him to the register and waited by the door. The girl that ranged him up at the register was very polite and kindly apologized for the sales reps behavior. Onto the brides maids. I honestly don't have enough words to describe how AWFUL our experience was. The associate who was supposed to help us was Kate. She knew nothing about the dresses, wasn't interested in helping us, and seemed SO bothered every time we asked her a question. She did not once come over and ask if we were doing ok. I personally had to go find other dresses and run around barefoot in the store like a mad woman. I wish I had two more hands so I can give this experience four thumbs down...Kate, if you get the chance to read this, you need to realize that this day is some women's most important day of their lives. Guys, this dress is STUNNING. It was already about 600 dollars off but when we expressed a little discomfort with the price Nyisha went to her manager and got us an extra 10% off. One of my very best friends lives in Ohio so I went to help pick out a wedding dress with her. She is one of the sweetest most polite girls you can imagine. Yet, the employees at this store were so rude! The service is beyond bad. I would NEVER recommend anyone go there as the employees can't be BOTHERED to help! What is that all about? Why would anyone want to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars in a place that ignores you? It's one thing if they're run ragged with customers. It's another when there are plenty of employees but none are motivated to do more than the bare minimum. I felt really bad for my friend. Every girl wants picking out a wedding dress to be a good experience. Yet, they made the day memorable for all the wrong reasons. The David's Bridal back in my area of California is nothing like this. A person can walk in the store and not be greeted by indifference. Get it together, management! I went bridesmaid dress shopping and since we were the only ones in the store, we got lots of attention. At the same time, the attention was not helpful, friendly or supportive. One particular staff member "helped" and just made us feel bad about ourselves. We asked a manager to not have her assist us anymore and though the manager stepped up, the first girl still sat and stared at us the entire time. After lots of back and forth, we finally figured out the dress we wanted. Then we got up to the register and ONLY after we asked about ordering online were we told that dress isn't even made anymore! They were actually going to put our "order" in online without checking!!! So, why did we go through and try on dresses and look at color samples? It was a completely wasted hour because then we had to go completely back to the drawing board (the color we wanted wasn't available in the dress we wanted...actually, the color wasn't even offered anymore!). I wasn't the one getting married but my poor friend who was, felt so bad for us! She's supposed to be getting things done for her and things should be easy! Not at David's Bridal. read more

This was the second attempt for an alteration with David's Bridal since July. I had a mother-of-the-bride dress that needed alteration for an August wedding and booked an alterations appointment with the Strongsville store. On the morning of the appointment, I received a call from that store to say that they couldn't keep the appointment because their tailor called off sick. So I had to reschedule, which turned out OK, I guess. Fast forward to today. My granddaughter is going to homecoming and needs her dress altered. I tried the Strongsville store again and set up an alterations appointment for September 17. Homecoming is October 29. David's bridal requires a 4-week window, so I thought we were good. Surprise Surprise, they canceled that appointment at the last minute and told me they had nothing else that would get the dress altered on time. It was suggested that I contact the North Olmsted store, which I did immediately and set up a September 17 appointment, which was also canceled, so I rescheduled for today (September 24) at 10:00 AM. Just this mornining I received another call telling me that two of their three tailors had called off sick, so I would need to reschedule, which was a lie because someone from the store called last night to see if I could reschedule (so it wasn't a sudden calling-off sick situation). I was able to get a 2:30 appointment for today, so we'll see how that goes. I hope they don't tell me it's too close to the date I need the dress. Anyway, what kind of business model do they have that allows for appointments to be made then canceled at the last minute? They obviously don't care about the customer's time or time frame for needing the alteration done. Why do they offer alterations if they don't plan to do them? And do all of their tailors call off sick every Saturday? Well, I've learned my lesson about David's Bridal and won't be going back, ever. I'm going to have to do my homework to find a reliable alterations business, which hasn't been easy. For some reason they don't exist in the Cleveland area. read more

I went here on a rainy Saturday and to my surprise it was not as crowded at first as much as I though it would be. The girl who greeted us at the desk was very friendly, she told me where the special occasion dresses were, and when we needed a fitting room she could let us in. I was disappointed that the selection in the store was not nearly as plentiful as it was on-line. And I was not really a fan how it was organized by style...It really threw me off, I don't know it just didn't work for me. They did have an OK sale selection. Which is where I ultimately ended up picking my dress from. I will say that when their dresses go on sale, it is a decent price. I was not happy though that when we went to try on the dresses, the fitting room area was like WWII for a mirror. I mean I'm talking battle of the bride, brides mom and me Plus guests, all fighting for mirror spaces secretly judging how each other looked. There was plenty of room down the hall, why didn't they have this better organized?! ugh. Anyways, I found my dress and I was really happy. This is the second David's bridal location that I have tried to trust with making things feel exciting and special. I booked the appointment online for my bridesmaids dresses, it asked how many people would attend, I put that in the system and they just reached out, 5 days in advance to tell me they can't accommodate everyone and we will have to split it up to different days. I have girls flying in to be here for this. When I mentioned that I wish I knew this before, the girl on the phone said "mmm it actually said so in your confirmation email." I am in tears. I found what she was talking about, it's a PDF they separately attach to the email saying to contact them if you have more than 4. Why wouldn't they call you right when you made the appointment? There is no accountability, they just push everything on the bride to be rather than own up to their faults. So poorly managed. It's so sad, David's bridal is really just accepting more and more bridal parties than they can handle and then trying to find a way to make it easier on themselves. Please do yourself a favor and don't even try with them. I went to Luxe Redux in Pinecrest for my dress and they spent 2 whole hours with me, getting to know me, being excited for me, and accessorizing my dress. Go there instead! If you are looking to get a dress under a budget and don't want to be coddled, David's is the place. Otherwise, go elsewhere. My first trip to DB was to look for my wedding dress. The atmosphere was that of a carnival (screaming babies, ringing bells, caterwauling sales staff), and the store was packed. To be fair, the woman helping me was pleasant but obviously stressed and rushing around. Despite having an appointment, we waited 15 minutes for a consultant before being left to sort through the dresses ourselves. My only two requests were 1) no obnoxious glitter and 2) all lace, yet they had not one dress in the store to fit my that style. The poor consultant seemed to be overtaken by the demands of the brideszilla in the changing room next to me, so I didn't want to be demanding for her attention, though it often left me struggling trying to escape piles of fluff. The style issue is fine; I understand they can't stock for everyone's tastes. What I don't understand is the stores lack of organization. My second trip was for a bridesmaid dress. The bride and I were left waiting 10 minutes again, despite having an appointment. The atmosphere was a little better this time- less of a zoo. The consultant asked what size I was, so I told her I'm normally a 0 but if sizes were petite or ran small, perhaps a 2. She replied (and I quote), "Most people flatter themselves by saying they're a 0 or 2 but are actually a 4. I only have a size 4 anyway." The 4 was falling off of me, so she measured and discovered--surprise-- I am a 0 and will probably be in need of alterations to take it in more. She still suggested I get a 2 in case I gained weight (I haven't since puberty). Is this a ploy to get more money from alterations?? Pardon me, ma'am, for my self-flattery! I'll take the 0 and go elsewhere next time. Revision: I called to see if the bridesmaid dress I ordered came in since it had been two full months and was told that they called three times and emailed because it had been in for a month. The phone number was entered incorrectly, and I have no idea where the email went because I have about three dozen emails from David's Bridal in my mailbox, but they are all spam--nothing about the dress. Amazing experience every single time I go in! I've been to the north olmsted locations 4 times now since January. The first time I went in with my 2 bridesmaids (3 at that time) and the lady there was very helpful. I had specific styles picked out and she made sure to show us all of them and get the girls into all of them too. The second time I went in with my mom and had a wonderful stylist to help us out and happened to have her again when I went in the third time too for my bridesmaid to find a new dress, same great experience that time too. The fourth time I was in for two seconds and it was just to get a swatch so that the associate at mens warehouse would actually help me. David's bridal was actually closed when I went over but all of the stylists were there still and had seen me have a giant meltdown in front of their store so they opened the door for me and got me tissues and the swatch I really needed. Purchased a wedding gown here back in January. It wasn't a great experience. Despite a weekday appointment, the girl helping me seemed like she was rushing. It felt like she gave up on me midway through and just got pushy. She acted like I was wasting her time by wanting to try on other dresses. I ended up purchasing a dress I will never wear because it's not my style. Ultimately, that was my fault. I should have been better about saying no, and not felt guilty leaving without purchasing anything. I was ready to just put all that behind me and wasn't going to leave a review but then I got an email from a Mary Kay consultant who said she got my information from DB. I am 100% not okay with my information being shared! Overall, this was just not a positive experience. If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. I scheduled an appointment for just my maid of honor and myself to hopefully find her dress for my upcoming wedding. The ladies we dealt with at the front desk were amazing. We were told to walk around and start pulling dresses we like and our consultant will be with us shortly. Now, my MOH is not a size 2 and we knew it would be difficult to find dresses that would fit her but our consultant Colleen was not only disrespectful but made comments referring to her size and it just going to be "difficult". We told her what we were looking for and she pulled ONE dress that was everything we said we did not like and ushered my MOH into a dressing room. Colleen then turned to me and goes "Well, I am just going to start pulling dresses for someone else. Let me know if you need anything", then walked off never to check in on us or talk to us anymore. Not only was my MOH embarrassed/down because of how the consultant made her feel but I was beyond annoyed that I scheduled an appointment just to have someone treat my friend like crap because she didn't fit into "a perfect size". I "said yes to the dress" at David's Bridal! I brought 4 ladies with me to my 12 o'clock appointment this Sunday. The store was surprisingly empty and my consultant, Alexis, was ready for us as soon as we arrived. I brought in pictures of 5 dresses I wanted to try on but they only had 2 in the store. This was a little bit disappointing but we moved ahead with the appointment. Alexis was fabulous at reading my reactions and tailored her dress picks accordingly. She was able to find one that looked very similar to the dress that I loved but they did not have in stock. She wasn't pushy and was very patient throughout the process. I tried on 6 dresses in my hour-long appointment. Alexis even helped us try out a few bridesmaids dresses after my appointment time had ended. I'll start by saying if I could give this place 0 starts, I would. I would not recommend this store, or any David's Bridal, to anyone. Let me tell you why.. I am extremely disappointed with David's Bridal in North Olmsted, OH. I purchased a wedding dress on 4/15/16 in a size 10 during the $99 sale. I liked the dress and the stylist told me "it fit just perfect, contact alterations if you feel it should be taken it at the waist". Today, 5/5/2016, I had an appointment with the alterations department. I was told the dress was too big, the entire dress would have to be taken in to fit me properly and the only other size available was a size 4. The size 4 dress zipped and fit well except being extremely tight in the bust and there was not enough fabric to let out in the bust area to fit properly. I asked for the manager because instead of altering a dress to be taken down a few sizes, I would like to simply exchange it for something of equal or greater value. According to the manager all sales are final and I am not able to exchange for a dress that fit properly. I was told that "because you purchased this dress during the $99 sale if you exchange it we would not be able to recoup any money lost in the transaction." Although confused by this logic I have no other choice but to walk away from David's Bridal and refuse to shop here again. This is extremely disheartening since I am having an elopement wedding in less than a month and would have also purchased 2 flower girl dresses from this store for my twin step daughters-to-be. I am now forced to begin shopping for another wedding dress with a wedding booked less than a month away and I think your customer service is less than unsatisfactory. Again, I will not shop at David's Bridal anytime in the future and do not recommend anyone else to. read more

Horrible. I went in to get a bridesmaid dress and everything was fine. They were very attentive and really focused on me. When I came back for the dress about a month later though, I didn't get a single look or ANYTHING from them. When I asked for alternations, they told me to sit and wait for someone. From the phone call to schedule the appointment to check out, I had an absolutely incredible experience at David's Bridal. Niyesha (I hope I am spelling that right!) was the most wonderful consultant. I didn't know what I wanted, but I knew what I didn't want!
