People are very friendly. They also do quick work usually the same day which is great if you really need your car. The downside is: they're going to pad the bill. If you need them to provide standard maintenance, they'll find a million other things to tack on to the bill. So just be careful & just have them fix what you ask to be fixed & nothing more. read more

Incompetent -- can't even change a tire. On TWO separate occasions, they broke a wheel stud while simply rotating my tires. Danny acted like there's something unusual about MY car. (It's just a Subaru, nothing exotic!) The reason that studs will break is from OVERTIGHTENING the lugnuts. I'm not even a mechanic and I know this. Steer clear of this place. read more

This is more than likely my favorite gas/service station to bring my vehicle. Danny (the man who runs the operation at Radburn) and his crew are the nicest people. I can always count on them to get my vehicle in diagnosed and taken care of usually all in the same day. They do honest and clean work. I bought my car in for tires and brakes and when I picked up my vehicle they had shined the tires and cleaned the rims. The gas attendants are funny and always make small talk and conversation, I usually leave the pumps in the morning feeing better about my day! To add the property is well maintained and CLEAN! Might I add there is a Dublin Donuts attached to the place and they rent out Hertz rental cars/trucks. read more

Outstanding service. This is my 'go to' for my car. All of the mechanics are friendly, knowledgable, experienced and honest to boot. I do highly recommend them. Really bad experience here, tried to rent a car only to find out the Hertz that runs out of the garage had been closed two months prior. Found out when I showed up to pick up the car, and also found out there had been many other people that day who tried and failed to rent a car... all because this Hertz location was listed as open on Yelp, Google, and on Hertz.com. Bad management here and a general disregard for customers - how many people's Labor Day plans and trips were upended because this place was too lazy to remove the listings and contact Hertz to have the page on Hertz's website shut down? read more

My go to shop for auto repairs and so much more. They rent hertz cars, sell gas and do repairs on all makes and models. While dropping off can be chaotic first thing in the morning(8am), they always get my car ready by the end of the day. O BIG THING, they have a Dunkin Donuts attached As far as gas goes, Exxon is the best quality, a little pricey, but I never have fuel related car problems. They have the most friendliest gas pumper, I think his name is Sunny, aptly so, I always leave in a good mood after talking to him. As far as service goes, I always request this blonde young man named Bob, he is fast, takes pride in his work, and will always tell you if some things can wait a bit. Very rarely do you deal directly with the mechanics, frequently you talk to Don, the service writer, he is a very frantic man due to his job, but he is honest as they come. While I have never rented a hertz car there, Victor is a pleasure to talk to and just listening to him talk to customers, I intend to rent there if necessary. Can things be improved on this business? Not to my knowledge, possibly more parking?? read more

I was kind of skeptical about ta service station that is connected to a gas station. However, this place took me by a surprise. The owner Dan is a very nice person that will treat you like a "customer" unlike any other service stations these days. I went in for a tire replacement as they are part of Tire Rack's selective garage. The good thing was that the tire came in the next day from Tire Rack, had it put on the next day after that. Their job is super fast and attention to details were superb. They polished my rims and put on the shiny stuff for the tires. Well my honest opinion is that the silicone on the tire shine will dry the tires so I don't like the idea but one time won't hurt! It's the thought that counts. If I were to get another tire from Tire Rack in the future, this place will be the one for me to install them. Thank you! read more

I am from Wisconsin and do a lot of my own minor car repairs. My son lives in Fair Lawn now, and I sent my son to this mechanic for a replacement of his wiper blade motor, since the first auto shop would not even do the job. I have run in to this before, since it is an older 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis a lot of shops won't even work on them. These guys quoted a reasonable price and got the job done in a day. My son was very pleased. He now has a "go to" shop in NJ. Dad would still like to do it himself but that is not practical. I told my son to take it to this shop every 5,000 miles for an oil change and inspection, and his car will last for years. read more

The old man who is supposedly the boss was a complete jerk, he was over charging for putting sensors in my jeeps tires. He was charging $280 so I called up my dad and told him. I then asked The so called boss if he can talk to my dad on the phone, my dad asked if he can cut us a break and he started yelling and bitching pardon my language, and he made it everyone else's business that was standing outside. I'm a big guy so I came up to him to give him a scare, that's when he shut up. All in rude,desrespectful, and terrible customer service. Oh and I got everything for my jeep done in $80!!! And he was charging extra for programming the sensor when in fact they come pre programmed. This place is the worst!!! read more

Radburn exxon is a rare find. They are very good mechanics and honest to boot. I have been using them for years without an issue. they may seem to cost a little more at first but in the long run they are save you money and you never feel you are being ripped off. I also use them for car and truck rental without issue. read more

They have taken care of my cars for years. Just had 2 tires (Michelin) put on my son's car and a full set of Goodyear's on mine. They were less expensive than tire rack, STS and Goodyear. And they are very careful with the cars when they are working on them. read more

I switch from winter to summer tires and vice versa each season. Tirerack listed Radburn Exxon as the top rated installer closest to me and I must say I couldn't have been more pleased with the customer service I received. Don and his team were super polite and courteous. I made the mistake of going to PepBoys for my previous tire swap which was the biggest mistake of my life, safe to say Radburn Exxon will be getting all my automotive business going forward.
