When we entered the store we saw several items throughout the store displaying 60% off. Well my wife found her shoes now she is loading up on other bargains at the 60% sale price. Hopefully for me she doesn't find too many bargains. Well one of us will definitely be coming back after payday.

We went to Belk to exchange or get a refund since he's only worn them 5 times. They no longer had his size so we requested a refund. They said that they can't tell how much we paid being it was over 30 days. The sandals were regularly $65 and we got them on sale for $48 when we purchased them. The store would not credit our Belk account for the $48. Their system would only allow a refund of $17 on a gift card since we didn't have the receipt. If we had known the sandals were going to split like that we would have kept the receipt. I feel that their excuse that the system can't find pricing if over 30 days is total bull crap and a way for the store to profit and the consumer to be out of money for sandals that only last 5 times of being worn. We will no longer shop at their store. They should be able to look up anything that I charged on their Belk Mastercard. You have lost a loyal customer for such horrible customer service.

I'm thinking of starting a critics page. Calling out s*** that I encounter every day. I'm so fed up…read morewith it I have to find an outlet. People suck. Here's my latest Facebook rant: Just a comment from today's visit. A woman was in the store and she really liked a small lamp that was donated to your store to bring joy to others, donated to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others. I believe that's the concept of your store or maybe even to spread the joy of the original our Lady of Hope, possibly to give hope to others?. Lamps are half price today. Anyway, the ladies in the front to middle-aged ladies with short light brown hair, were haggling with customers. I listened to iher denying people the daily discounts for items donated.to you to spread the Gospel. For all 40 minutes while I was in the store. When I was readying to check ou, the lady who liked the lamp came up she said " I can't believe it, I'm so lucky- the lamp is half price I can get it." But the lady behind the counter said "oh no that's from a different section of the store and it has to plug in, so technically its not a lamp." The lady obviously really wanted the lamp but she obviously didn't have the money to pay full price. So she said "oh but it is a lamp because lamps don't necessarily have to plug in." The clerk was unmoved. The lady left without her lamp. Very sad. I thought maybe there was a chance here for a slight lesson and I walked up to them while they were talking poorly and very loudly about the lady who wanted to buy the lamp as some shyster who was " just trying to get it for cheap.." they failed to see the need. They failed to be Ladies of Hope. So I mentioned to them "would you like another perspective? If you are going to volunteer in a Christian thrift store shouldn't you model christ? Especially to customers who may not go to church and you might be the only church or Christ they see (or the only Lady of Hope (term used lightly here) some of your customers might ever meet? The response from the lady who refused the sale said that she's "only a volunteer and doesn't have the authority to model Christ!" She has to sell it for what it says it is even if she is determining what it is........ I mentioned to her that it is fairly ludicrous for any believers to say that they do not have the authority to model Christ, but by this time they had started turning on me. As they started ridiculing me I left the store. Just for the record, if this is what you're teaching in your church why would anyone want to go there? How will you answer to Jesus for the people that you've turned away from him? Isn't that more valued than the two or three dollars off the poor lady wanted to pay? And how will you answer the souls that you allowed to fall through, after those ladies of Hope treated them with no hope. I'm praying for that lady. Had I got there before she ran out I would have bought it for her myself...

I hate to say it but they also lack any Four Seasons or Beverly Wilshire Hotels or any formal dining options as well as covered parking for my Lamborghini.... But that's okay The Pavillion at Port Orange is a great shopping venue it's not pretentious, it's not Rodeo Drive and those of us in the area appreciate its not all that. Look I can find those high end place when required and admit I enjoy shopping at those places occasionally but it's not necessary for everyday living. If I need a vegetable steamer or pair of flip flops I can come here dressed in my beach shorts and tee shirt do a little shopping and grab a decent lunch and not mortgage my house on the beach. This outdoor shopping arena was much needed and the developers did a great job providing a little of everything for everyday living and although there isn't any valet parking there is ample parking and no traffic jams. I still get a laugh out of the roundabout that seems to challenge a few but I think that was the intent.
