But one of my colleagues suggested that I give this spot a try. Compared to the other shops, I was surprised that they had a huge selection. This store doesn't look big from the outside, but it sure is on the inside. It felt like aisle after aisle of a good mix of all brands. I went up and down the aisles to look at styles and found a style I liked. I was in luck here, I found a style and my journey was coming to an end. On top of finding a style I liked, they were having a sale that I could buy one and get one half off. Needless to say, I got two of the styles in different colors and headed to the counter. The big thing here that irked me was the line at the register. There was a full on line for checkout with only one register open. The employee was working as quickly as she could, but what was off putting about it was that there was another employee mere feet away. Acting like he was blind and couldn't see the line while going through shoes at the counter.

So I walked in about an hour before closing just to look around. I saw some cute ugg-type shoes…read more(but much nicer than uggs) and tried them on for fun. I loved them. But the shoes were display shoes and the actual boxes of shoes were not around. So here is the fun part. Even though there were 3 employees in the store, and I was the only customer, I could not get help. I even found a 2nd pair that I wanted to buy on the spot as well, but again it was out of place and it is a huge store so I didn't know where the corresponding boxes stacked by size were. I also had a question as to whether both were part of the buy-1-get-1-half-off special, but honestly I like them so much I would have bought them anyway. 1 guy was on his head phones and gave me instructions not to bother him until I found what I wanted. Another guy pointed at something and then ran to the back to straighten or something. And a girl, another employee there, ignored be even though I said "excuse me" three times to get her attention. After I gave up and walked away, the girl looked up, looked at me like I was crazy to try to talk to her, and gave me the Gen Z stare on steroids after I was half way across the store. As I said, I was the only customer in the store. I realize none of those kids wanted to be there, or wanted to work, and were probably trained by mgmt to ignore customers and just straighten or get ready for closing an hour ahead of time, but I finally gave up and left. Maybe I'll order them online, or from another Off Broadway, or find look-alikes elsewhere since everyone is selling pretty much the same styles. Gee, I wonder why in-person sales are down? Just close the effing stores if you don't want to sell anything.

I was so tired that I had accidentally chosen men's shoes to try on. The employee explained one of the styles was unisex and helped look for a smaller size. I was handed two pairs of women's shoes that were exactly what I wanted. Sketchers has a free awards program. There are coupons and perks throughout the years. Each purchase at the mall earns points through Simon's award program. The Sketchers shopping bag is a a great soft cinch sack.

They were rude and definitely didn't want to help. When my 4 year old told the woman at checkout that he was wearing his new shoes she said "I would have figured that out from the box". We were the only people in the store, so I know his brief attempt at an exchange didn't inconvenience her. We also waited an inordinate amount of time at the register with two employees waking by us more than once without saying anything.

I suppose I could've order them online, but for whatever reason I didn't. Anywho, fast fwd to today and we stopped by this Vans Outlet at Arundel Mills, and they actually had my size! Salesman was friendly and helpful, as he brought out a plethora of size 15s in different styles, but I stuck with the OGs. They also have a HUGE selection of styles, and a nice selection of shirts and socks, as well. Lots of discounts, including buy one get one 50%off.

Now there are two near me and I had to check it out. First as a VIP member I had to return a pair of shoes within 90 days of purchase. This was my first time after many purchases and it was no hassle at all!!! I expected some hassle but the staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. I like the store ... clean and great layout. A chance to feel clothes I've heard so much about ... I wear orthotic as a preventative to injury and they have a new custom made quickie orthotic that is price competitive to my off the shelf (dr schols at cvs) inserts. Gonna check it out. 9.27.24 I am on the…read morefence about how I feel about this location. I have been a customer for many years. The staff are super friendly and helpful, however, they are understaffed. At my last visit in August, I waited a while before an associate assisted me with a scan to do an assessment of which type of shoes I should purchase, stability or neutral. I requested that the scan be emailed to me, but it never was. Over the last week or two, I tried calling to request it. I tried calling closer to closing thinking it would be lighter for them to assist me. The line went unanswered after many rings. This week, I decided to call at 10 a.m. this past Monday when they open. Cerise answered and put me on hold for 12 minutes. I hung up and called again. She said it was busy and got my info and said she would return my call in 15 minutes. 15 minutes came and went. It's now Friday and still no call. I even left a voicemail later this week. The automated system said calls are returned in 24 hours. Apparently that is false. I decided to go into the store at opening and finally got what I needed. Shawn, the manager, was friendly and helpful. Two recommendations I have is that they need to hire more staff and do a better job of answering the phone and returning calls. I gave them three stars because the service when I am in the store is exceptional.
