SCAM ALERT! This has been an absolute nightmare of an experience. I decided to go through this man to buy a pool table because he sounded intelligent and knowledgeable. He helped me find a table I liked, and went to pick it up for me with the promise of fixing it and refelting it, and told me it would take him a week. I would get the table that Friday, six days after he picked up the table, with new bumpers , new felt, new pockets, and new sideboards. I then did not receive the table until the 15th of april. (He picked up the table march 29th) This should have been my first sign, but I had unfortunately already sent him the full amount for the table. After he came and set it up I texted him letting him know I was unhappy with not just the wrong felt color, but also with the "fixes" on the table. He then responded saying he couldn't do the job right because the money I sent him hadn't cleared yet, which showed he knew he left me with a shit table but was hoping I wouldn't say anything. He promised to come back and fix it and felt it the correct color but never responded or came back. This man is a scammer and a liar. Take your business elsewhere!! Literally anywhere else. NIGHTMARE !!! I had them recover and install new cushions but had to have them come back out and refit the cloth they didn't make it tight enough and came loose .. then .... the glue separated from rail cushions in several places and had them come and re glue the cushions to the rails, then ... couple months later it happened again in different places, they came out again and had to re glue .... then of course after the warranty the cushions separated from the rails in several new places Obvious quality problems. He asked me to send him a text message with all the information which I did after the call. On the day of the move, my husband texted him and Daniel confused our move with someone else. I found Daniel on Yelp and I strictly went off the high rating 4.5 stars he averaged and he is second on yelp for pool table movers by star ranking near me in Gilbert Az. Big mistake I should have taken a few minutes and read more reviews including many of the ones that aren't recommended by yelp for what ever reason but they are very similar to my experience. Anyway long story short he moved a table for me he recommended get the bumpers fixed. I was hesitant at first as I did not know if I really did need to replaced them or not. As stated by other people his demeanor changes if you don't want the extra work that he "recommends" from friendly to rude. He has a lot of experience but he's working with a guy with 0 or appears to be zero experience or very little of any. And my table shows the areas where the rookie worked on it so I asked him if he could comeback to honor his word about setting up my rug which arrived a few days after he moved it for me like he said he would when we made the deal. He has been giving me the run around for over a month that he's sick yet he's still doing table move jobs. I'll be posting pictures of the text on here as well as making a complain to the better business bureau. It is unfortunate that I paid him 380$ and got a half done job. BUYER BEWARE. I believe Daniel seems like a scam artist, had a horrible experience buying a used table through him. He was supposed to store, move and set up table, balls and sticks. On delivery day he claims the balls were stolen at the gas station. I highly doubt this. He said he'd get us new balls the next day. Then comes the first excuse - balls will take a few extra days to deliver. After multiple attempted calls and text he stopped responding and claims his phone broke. After not hearing back from him for days, we decided to stop by his "store address" (which is really his home) and talking to his gf or sister- he immediately called (what a coincidence) but of course with more excuses. Moral of the story, we finally got our balls (which weren't even new) going on two weeks after delivery, plopped on our doorstep with a note of more excuses... he couldn't even look us in the eye.After looking at previous reviews I guess maybe he needed more time to "steal" someone else's balls. Who's knows... Very unprofessional and sketchy as hell. Now he has threatened to sue us with defamation of character if we do not take this review down within 7 days. We were ripped off. "Mr Daniel Marquez" somehow managed to wreck our Olhausen pool table the day it was to be shipped. When we asked to "see the ruins" he told us it was "already in the trash," His personal goings on always came before his answer to our many calls, and he was argumentative when we did catch him on the phone. What he did send us was a cheaper table (we had it appraised by pros) with burgundy felt. Just moved to Arizona and unfortunately had hired very questionable movers. They didn't take our pool table apart correctly and refused to assemble it. They left it and all the pieces in the garage. Lance and his partner (I didn't catch his name) arrived promptly at 9am and started the tedious job of trying to figure out what our incompetent movers had done. Lance discovered that almost all the hardware was missing! I would have understood if they told me they couldn't complete the job. But instead, they went to Home Depot and Lowe's to find the hardware which they also had to modify. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND expectations!
