Good food, good service, good prices every time we go there, which is usually once or twice a week. Highly recommended.

Food made wrong, the one older lady is very rude. They have tons of flies in their establishment. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Stopped for a quick breakfast. Decent breakfast bar. Fresh made food and outstanding biscuits! An in and out meal. But what we needed today.

It was a much needed night out of the house! BTW, if you haven't tried their loaded chicken, you really should give it a try!

Rhodes has the BEST cheeseburgers in west TN (and elsewhere?) - beyond a shadow of a doubt!! A massive half pound patty cooked to perfection, topped with delicious cheese and very, very fresh veggies! Oh, yes, their French fries and HUGE onion rings are some of the best we've ever had - anywhere!! Quite tasty, perfectly cooked, and not greasy at all. BUT - I MUST also mention the Rhodes breakfast menu!! Absolutely delicious country ham, sausage (both links and patties), and bacon are worth a stop - as are the eggs, omelets, and perhaps the largest pancakes you've ever seen!! No joke, these rascals are about 10" in diameter (sometimes hanging off the plate!) and more than 1" thick!! There are a variety of other breakfast items - but I never get past these!! Of course, with my breakfasts, I typically get their biscuits with cream gravy. Mmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmmmmm!!!! Great service from their staff! Stop by for a breakfast or cheeseburger - and you definitely will not be sorry!!!

Livingston's Soda Fountain & Grill delivered with a nice side of nostalgia. We started with an appetizer of Cheese Sticks. We then followed that up with some burgers. I got the Livingston's Burger, which was delicious, while my brother got the Ole Tyme Burger. And as if the burgers weren't enough, these burgers were served with a mountain of delicious fresh-cut fries. But the best part of our meal was at the end, when we were convinced to get two milkshakes, one for each of us. And I'm glad we did, as these were the most delicious milkshakes we had in quite a while, and I was sipping on mine all the way back to our hotel. In short, if you find yourselves traveling through Brownsville and have the time for a proper meal, I strongly recommend you take the detour away from the Interstate to stop at Livingston's Soda Fountain & Grill, and don't forget dessert, because it is the best part here. And if we find ourselves traveling through Brownsville around lunch or dinner time again, we will definitely come back to Livingston's Soda Fountain & Grill again.

The paint matches the tables and chairs, with two brown-colored, old-school restaurant booths located in a second room. A western movie plays on the television in the corner, and there are no carryout shelves, no WiFi, no frills. It's not what you come here for. But you will find lots of camo, long beards, and locals engaged in boisterous chatter with heavy southern accents. It's an authentic southern experience. The Saturday morning breakfast rush was just winding down at 8:45 when I walked in and took the only remaining seat. The other 45 spots were taken as the place was packed! It took 30 minutes to get my food, but I hoped it was worth the wait. The loaded hash browns contained a mixture of ham, peppers, onions, and one of my least favorite things - a melted square of despicable American cheese. The potatoes are closer to soggy than crisp which is a cardinal sin in the hash brown game. But the ham was really good. The sausage patties were obviously store bought and very unimpressive, and the biscuits were either picked up at the local grocer or simply underwhelming. The gravy was thick, but the wonderful texture was utterly flavorless. The entire meal was under $10 without the tip, so you get what you pay for. At least it's affordable.
