Good food good service. First time here but we will be back. Flatbread was really good and the duck egg rolls. Over all a nice place with clean and nicely decorated bathrooms. We enjoyed it.

Friendly service at the bar and drinks were good, not watered down. Enjoyed my visit, will go again.

Great place! Good staff. The pizza things could use better quality cheese, but overall great!

Sat at the bar. Good food. Friendly service. Just what we were looking for while visiting friends in Milan.

Grew up in Milan and now live in Long Beach, CA. I can tell you when you move away from these parts…read moreone of the unrequited cravings you have is for an authentic Tennessee pulled pork BBQ sandwich with hot sauce and cole slaw (ask for that on a sandwich in California and wait for the funny looks). Milan and great BBQ are synonymous in my mind. From the time my family moved to Milan around 1962, The storied Silver Kitchen was the popular spot for the best pulled pig sandwich around. I'll forever remember the big hickory burning oven's you could see cooking up the next batch of perfectly smoked deliciousness. I also shall not forget the delicious feeling of naughtiness I got from eating in a place that served beer. OK, so after sharing my bona fides on Milan BBQ History this review is to recognize Smokin' Hot BBQ as a worthy successor to Robert and Joannne Appleton's legendary Silver Kitchen. Mark, the Smokin' Hot owner (LOL, I just called him that because I'm sure no one else ever has) is someone I've known since the first few months my parents settled in Milan back in '62. I've watched from afar all the hard work he has put into creating a great product and growing his business. On trips home my tastebuds always lead me to the SH drive-through. This trip home I've eaten several times in the new sit down restaurant and got great service and food each time. I'm sure they have some kinks to work out and I'm sure they will. Highly recommended--a favorite with locals. And they serve beer.

Good bbq, and fries are really good but don't order a rib "sandwich". I've had rib sandwiches from…read moreother bbq places and it's meat from ribs cut up. I ordered a rib "sandwich" and got a piece of a slab of ribs on Texas Toast. Definitely NOT a sandwich and worse yet, ribs were dry. I still like this place but will just stick with the bbq for now on.

If you read any of my past reviews even the ones from little george's or forget about it or thai…read moretanic back when the restaurant first opened to chowder pot and from all the reviews I'm doing now than you know I'm 100% honest in each of my reviews. With that said let's get started. I just finished dinner at Lee's. Now my family and I drive by this place all the time so my dad and I figured we'd stop in. The interior made me a bit wary about the food. It had me thinking it'd be your southern fast food and no love would be put into the food after all the interior looked like a Burger King/McDonald's type of place. Then the food came. I could tell from the first bite of my chicken fried steak they made love to it. They could've gotten those frozen Tyson chicken fried steaks, you know the ones I'm talking about. But I'm glad they didn't. The batter was nice and crispy and had some heat to it and the gravy also had a bit of a kick to it. The coleslaw was very good too it was the mayo I think. Don't quote me on that. I always get the mayo and vinegar coleslaws mixed up. Always. The biscuits were good too. They reminded me of the kind you get at Boston Market and I haven't had a good biscuit in a while.

It was just OK and little bit over priced. One of the rotisserie chickens from Walmart are better…read moreand cheaper!! I wasn't impressed and I heard a lot of talk about how good it was. That was it just talk!!
