Ok, want a dining experience worthy of inclusion in a modern horror movie? It's an experience you must have!!!! Go to the Milan TN McDonalds this evening. As soon as you walk through the door you realize their AC is out. I mean it was only 96° outside and but when you walk through the door you realize it's hotter inside. And by the way the swamp cooler was rigged up behind the counter with a dryer vent tube zip tied to it it's likely been that way for a while. Other than one lady (I'll get to her later) the oldest employee couldn't have been older than 16. The girl that took my order had the appearance of an actor of one of the earliest suspense horror films, Black Christmas. I don't want to be unfair by stating her appearance, she was not unattractive just that she jumped through a 50 year time warp and landed in a hell hole. She was also very pleasant and professional taking my order. And the boy making the sandwiches with his purple long hair just seemed to fit right in, posibly also stepping through a time warp from a film somewhere between The Longest Yard and Porky's. Got my cup and went to the drink station. The sweet tee canister was leaking at an erie and hypnotic steady flow almost as if in slow motion and ponding on the counter which seemed so hygienic that even the bacteria vacated. At that time the deli scene in Texas Chainsaw Massacre looked like best practice of food safety. That's when the one adult, a middle age lady (ok, based on situation probably still in 20s but looked older) who I assume the shift manager came out from behind the service station with an order up. Her body aged very prematurely and her face full of scabs like she had been scratching her meth bugs. She looked like she just stepped out of a west Tennessee drug house and was gussied up for her narcotics related mug shot. Finally got my order, and other than not having my chocolate shake was correct and the older lady quickly made it for me. So go back to the outside where it was cool and get in my truck and drive off. Eat my BigMac and fries and start in on the shake. Was my shake frozen? Nope... it wasn't even cold, not even a chill. The one time a McDonald's employee doesn't tell you the machine is out of order you are served a warm dairy drink But thinking positively because I drank it anyways... maybe enough Fentanyl residue dropped off the lady to protect me from food poisoning. Yes, a dining experience you should have... worth the risk as I promise you won't have ever had one like it before. Oh, their billboard on the road states Now Hiring, Competative wages Just if you take the job be sure not to drink the cool-aid at end of shift or else you may never leave. Let me emphasize the girl who took my order was very pleasant and professional. the boy with purple hair also seemed to be doing a good job So thumbs up to these two employees I should have given them my card and offered them a job to rescue them from the sinking ship. read more

Help is slow, rude and there is NO ONE cleaning. The place is nasty and the flies are so bad we were afraid to open our mouths! GROSS! Close the store or clean it up! read more

Tonight after working a 12 hour shift as a nurse in Jackson, I went by McDonalds to pick up dinner, the order was over $31.00 I live another half hour from the restaurant, I get in the house to feed my kids only to find that they shorted me 2 Fish sandwiches. So then I call McDonalds and the phone is busy! I have my child hit redial until they answer.....THEY NEVER ANSWERED THE PHONE!!! Evidently the manager knows how bad his employees are so he takes the phone off the hook! Meanwhile, I feed my kids and I get to go to bed hungry after working 12 hours plus driving an hour each way, I'm tired, I'm hungry and I was ripped off by McDonalds for 2 Fish sandwiches!! So no I would not recommend that restaurant to you or any working mother out there!! read more

Tonight, Tuesday(1925/ 7:25 pm) Walked into Milan McDonald's to get a McRib meal. After looking at the marquee for 8 minutes and an attendant waiting, I finally asked where is the price for the McRib meal??? He looked at the same sign I was looking at and could not find the price plus he could not quote the price.. THIS IS NOT GOOD!! After asking the the window cashier, she just looked at me and turned her back for other things. Finally a lady, probabley taking a break in the seating room, walked up and I asked her. I cannot see the price, yet there is promo about another additional sandwich for one dollar, $1.00. She said "that's Right!" But I replied, yet what is the price of the meal?? Blank Stares for a couple of seconds, then she said "$7.40". I said thanks but that is too much for a processed pork sandwich McRib." She said, "yeah, but for that extra dollar you get another McRib sandwich!" I ended up ordering a $5.00 McDonald's, two sandwiches for that price plus a small coffee. I got the order in by 7:35 pm but without coffee. The lady attendant had said "I will fix up fresh coffee and I will bring to you!" By 7.50 pm, I had not gotten any coffee, only two other meals went out over the inside counter to other McDonald's employees on break...I could see that the the old coffee pot still had no new coffee and the lady attendant was not working the inside cashier front and the six (6) to five (5) other employees were somewhere else but not checking on my order. At 7.52pm , I had enough,with my unopened sandwiches I returened to the counter. I said, "Where is the end of my order?? They put old coffee now in a large cup. " I am not going to eat or give business people who do anything but the business". Another lady worker shows up, TINA, refunded my money, $6.13 back and with no apologies, well I said, "I can't do business with people who aren't serious about the food service!" Later, four miles closer to home I drove to a BURGER KING and got the two sandwiches and coffee in five minutes and with $five dollars and thirty cents. Also this Mcdonald's' had a survey, you could complete for goood, GOOOD service nothing about the truth! the URL is to probabely for "padding" the bussinesses "lousy" service. itz, mcvoice. that survey won't help anyone but the survey' service contract. read more
