I came in today and wanted to confirm that was the level of service I was getting. The gal at the counter said, "no, there is only the one stylist-Alayna- the owner and that is $72. They questioned me about my call and making the appointment. I said, okay, I'll do the senior level today with Alayna. Rather than provide good customer service or apologize for their mistake, she came over and said, "You know what, I'm not cutting your hair. I'm not going to do it." Their website is advertising services they don't offer and whoever made my appointment mislead me. I'm glad I didn't get a hair cut as the lack of integrity shown by the owner is enough of a reason not to give them my business. I miss the old Lemon Head!

She got it close, so very close. If I was to be in CO longer, or if I ever visit and need a haircut, I will definitely try to get an appt with Ellie's Place. It usually takes a few cuts to really get a feel for my type of hair (thick and coarse and bleached). Then, on a previous visit, she repaired a very bad cut from a different vendor there in town. I think I've decided that most women wear their hair long in Durango, so cute short cuts are not very common.
