Getting a haircut is always a crapshoot is often a disaster. I called and got an appointment with Emily on her 2nd day there. She was great. She heard everything I said, talked me through all that she was thinking, and then checked in with me throughout the process. She really listened which can be uncommon. She is also a really lovely person. I walked out of there with a GREAT haircut and that doesn't happen often. I am ecstatic. I highly recommend Emily

I came in today and wanted to confirm that was the level of service I was getting. The gal at the counter said, "no, there is only the one stylist-Alayna- the owner and that is $72. They questioned me about my call and making the appointment. I said, okay, I'll do the senior level today with Alayna. Rather than provide good customer service or apologize for their mistake, she came over and said, "You know what, I'm not cutting your hair. I'm not going to do it." Their website is advertising services they don't offer and whoever made my appointment mislead me. I'm glad I didn't get a hair cut as the lack of integrity shown by the owner is enough of a reason not to give them my business. I miss the old Lemon Head!

Emma Dake is my gal. I'm a bit older with aging hair, so it's proven difficult to get just right…read more But Emma helped me start growing it out again. I wanted even more length, asked her to leave it as long as possible but to shape it up. She proceeded to elegantly raise her scissors... and just so, cut each section 1/4 inch. Her performance alone was extraordinary, like a cross between an angel and a goddess, slowly trimming the beast with such offhand beauty. Totally focused on the task, her movements were almost dance-like. When she was done, I swear she made my hair look LONGER than when I came in. Once you've had the best, just leave the rest!
