It feels like Loomis - a splash of chic, a splash of country and antique; it feels both comfortable and welcoming. Next, the ladies. My personal stylist is Sarah, I adore her and am always happy with the magic she performs on my thick head of aging horse hair, but all of the women working there are so down to earth, fun and talented, canigetanamen?! Often times you walk into a salon and feel that the stylists are judging you (or is that just me?), but that is truly the OPPOSITE VIBE at Bow + Arrow. If Sarah ever left the area (don't you dare or I'll find you....) I would continue going to B+A with any of the highly qualified and professional ladies there. At the consultation, I was told they'd check their schedule and get back to me that evening. I even said that if it ended up being the next day, that was completely fine. Instead, I didn't hear anything until I followed up, at which point I was told there wasn't anything available for at least three months but that they were still trying to find something. After waiting another week, I followed up again and never received a response. I completely understand that you're busy and that your schedule may be full. What I find disappointing isn't the wait, it's the lack of communication. As someone who was prepared to invest both the time and money into this service, I expected the same level of professionalism and follow-through that was asked of me. Being left to repeatedly follow up without a response feels disrespectful, and unfortunately it has left a poor impression of the experience.

She is also very knowledgeable in hair coloring. My daughter tried to turn her hair from brown to blonde on her own and Kasey fixed it in one color treatment. Oh, she fixed it all right. Now it has holes in it, and it's just horrible, and It's almost impossible to fix. I have learned a valuable lesson. Never ever go back to the same hair dresser because if she messed up the first time, she will fix you the second time. It's just hair, and it will grow back.

I know skincare and hair/makeup artists seem expensive, and you may go back and forth on whether it's worth the price or not... but you get what you pay for and I'll tell you that it's worth it! Michele was on our vendor list and when I saw that she specialized in both hair and makeup AND esthetics, I immediately picked up the phone. Having done many weddings before mine, she did tell me that I'd probably want to have some fake lashes just so they'd show up in my professional photos. One of my biggest fears when I was first searching for a makeup artist was that I wasn't going to recognize myself in pictures or look like me. Michele made sure that didn't happen! When my brother first saw me, he cried and told me that he was so happy that I still looked like myself, which was so sweet!
