Having so many ppl in any shopping situation would have been overwhelming anywhere so I don't recommend that in general. But RR welcomed us into their homes and was able to show us many styles of both men's and women's clothing. They were patient in explaining the different types of clothes and materials. When we left 3+ hours later, they had taken great notes on what we wanted (colors, sizes, styles) and told us they'd order more items for us to come back to look and try on. Happy to report that when we went back, we had a full outfits for the family. My husband and son had custom made outfits (due to specific sizes needed) to match my beautiful saree which also coordinates with my daughters outfit. They had a blouse stitched for me with a beautiful keyhole design. In fact our experience was so good, we recommended RR to more family members. Including the pre wedding activities along with the wedding, I believe our family purchased about 20 complete outfits. We even found our jewelry and accessories there. So if you're looking to purchase some Indian clothing at a good price while working with some friendly and kind people, give Ron and Ranjita a call. You won't be disappointed! Nothing on the internet seemed representative of what I wanted to wear. It was even harder to shop in person as I didn't know which stores would be homophobic or which stores would welcome me. Finding B Anu Designs was like finding a beacon of light. Anu's team was welcoming and made me feel safe. She was able to capture the essence of my vision and transform it into something beautiful. I wanted something masculine but extremely feminine at the same time. I wanted something traditional but also modern. I wanted an outfit that I could feel gorgeous in and comfortable. Anu was able to deliver that and much more. In addition to my wedding outfit, Anu designed a series of outfits for me and my wife to wear at my sister's wedding. We wanted something coordinating in an obvious, but elegant way. Anu was able to deliver just that with our reception outfits. Throughout the process, I do wish there was more communication during the design phase. One of the blouses came back with a design we were not so fond of. We had voiced this concern to Anu and she listened and responded immediately. She was able to quickly rectify the situation and assuage our anxiety. My husband and I came in to see Anu's selection at the shop in early March. She was so sweet to let us just walk in after hours on a Friday night at like 8pm, that meant a lot to us. We were having a rush wedding in under 2 months, so we assumed we would only have time to buy outfits off the rack and not get anything custom made - but Anu made it happen! She worked so hard and got our outfits to us by mid-April! I walked in with barely any vision of how I wanted my lengha, I just knew I wanted it simple and light pink and in my tight budget, and Anu really took it from there. She took this simple lengha design that I liked and turned it into a full on bridal lengha! At first I was just going along with whatever she liked, but it really was a "trust the process" experience. She made my entire bridal piece look incredible. I especially cannot rave enough about how gorgeous my dupattas were. Anu also created my husband's sherwani, shawl, pagh, and juttis. She dyed all the fabric together so there wasn't a hint of difference in the pink between our outfits. Everyone loved how well our outfits complimented and matched each other. Listen lady - no one cares if you have a body or money. What is importance is values and how you treat other people. Instead of showing off your body ( saggy boobs and discoloration on face) and showcasing your possessions, on insta get some manners from somewhere. We ended up getting an outfit and she quickly said, you can save money by venmo or zelle, so there is no paper trail or tax issues. Let me report you to IRS!

When I finally did pick up my outfit, I noticed that some of the gold foil pieces on my outfit were missing off of my lehenga skirt. She said she could work with the designer to provide the pieces but never followed up or responded to my messages. The designer thankfully worked with me to send those pieces directly. I agree with other reviewers that Komal's communication is terrible and inconsistent. It's hard to get status updates, confirmation on prices, etc. I worked with several high-end designers and medium-end ones directly through their teams and had good experiences doing that. This is what I'd recommend that others do. Komal does not provide written invoices or payment confirmations, leading you to have to Venmo or Zelle often thousands of dollars, with limited visibility on the status of your order. It's tricky to trust this kind of merchant with limited paper trails and similar reviews to immune for momentous occasions like your wedding.

Kiran Battu Doesn't care for business or customers. definitely doesn't care for money and lost my business. I called Samudra sarees took an appointment and reached at @7pm to buy a dress for an upcoming office event. I called while parking my car, and I was told to knock on the door for somebody from their home to attend to the door. In spite of confirming an appointment, this lady was not home. I knocked at the door, and somebody came by the door ( visible through hazed glass) and left without opening the door. When I try to ring the doorbell again it did not work though the light was going in circles (probably a setting to disable on RING). But I saw another camera to the right side of the door that illuminated for a bit and then went off (Either somebody was watching through the camera - or- it was motion enabled ). 6 mins passed and I called again to let Kiran know that nobody bothered to attend the front door. She said she is somewhere out running some errands and that her mom will open the door for me. I waited patiently until 7:15 pm and nobody opened the door. I am super annoyed by this time, I saw a car pulling out of their driveway with a bunch of people and nobody bothered to ask me why I am standing in front of their door. I messaged the lady that I'm leaving at 7:16 she called me at 7:36 PM that she opened the door and don't see anybody. Wondering how can a sensible person expect people to wait in front of their door for 30 mins. the funny part is she messages me after 1 hour blaming me that I was at the wrong address because she doesn't see anybody at the door. I responded back asking her to check her cameras, she has installed RING on the left side and a camera to the ceiling on the right side of her front door.
