There are a few gems here that are extra polite and always have a smile no matter the time or the weather. This goes for both the inside staff and outside staff. Even the customers seem happy and conversational! It's our go-to for that very reason.

They Are Open When You Need Them…read more We were running on fumes after searching for an open gas station for 30+ minutes while driving home from Newark International Airport (EWR) and thought we were going to need to call AAA for some gas while we stopped to eat at Broadway Dinner in Summit. The staff at the restaurant told us that we were less than half a mile (.2 miles to be exact) to a 24/7 gas station. Thankfully, after our meal our car started and made the 1 minute drive to Summit Petroleum. This place was like an oasis in the desert for us as the rest of Summit was a gas station ghost town. The prices here are higher, but I gladly payed them because no one else was open at 1 in the morning. Does this place need to be your go-to cheap gas station in Summit, no. Is this place open when every other gas station in Summit seams to be closed, YES! This place is now on my radar for late night fill ups while driving back home from EWR or Broadway Dinner ;)

The other day, an employee flat out refused to give a receipt for a fuel purchase, which I require for business and tax purposes. The jackass of a fuel attendant told me that "the machine timed out" and that I couldn't get one, despite the fact that it had only been 30 seconds since he'd removed the nozzle from my car. I've never had this issue with other employees at this station, or at any other gas station for that matter.
