As with all the rest, the pumps are clean and the electronics work well. Gassing up is pretty trouble-free most times. The squeegees provided in the pump area are terrible however. The rubber is hard so it doesn't wipe well. I walked around and tested several and they were all like this. Useless. The gas pumps are clean and in good working order. The pump touch screens, electronics, and pay-by-phone devices work most of the time without problems. The nicest thing about RaceTrac is the coffee! They have machines that grind on demand and so the coffee is always fresh. There are several different flavors/varieties and all are pretty good (even the decaf is decent). The store is clean and well kept. The bathrooms are better than average as convenience store restrooms go. If you go to RaceTrac regularly, download their app and sign up for the Rewards program. One of the people who got a po-boy said it wasn't regular mayo on the po-boy, but rather either tahini or tzatziki. Now mind you, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, but could be jarring for someone not expecting it. The falafel and baklava were mine. I thought that the falafel wrap was good: flavorful and saucy. It was a bit messy, but I seem to always make a mess when eating falafel sandwiches. I was excited about the baklava, but unfortunately it wasn't very good. Maybe it had been sitting for a while, I don't know, but the flaky pastry had lost some of its flakiness/crispiness and had become a bit chewy instead. One odd thing is that you get your food bagged at the checkout counter, which is separate from the food counter. This doesn't sound bad in theory, but meant I ended up carefully holding 3 hot sandwiches, a small takeout container, and a menu while waiting in line at the checkout counter. Last year I estimate that I drove around 45,000 miles total in my work and personal cars. That means that I stop for gas a lot. These frequent stops mean that I get to experience all the good and bad stations and share those experiences with you. So hooray for that. This station is located off of the Oak Harbor exit from I-10. It is much easier to get to if you're headed from New Orleans. Entering is relatively easy, and there are pumps a plenty. Getting back on the interstate is also easy. In fact, This is probably the best exit to take if you need gas. All nearby exits are a pain in the hindquarters. Inside there is a Subway and a fairly well stocked convenience store. It's clean and the cashiers are friendly. There is frequently a line to check out during peak times. So all these positives but still three stars? Yep. The bathrooms here are pretty nasty. Yes they have soap and usually have towels. But everything else is all janky. The floors perpetually have a wet look that doesn't appear to come from mopping. The trash can is always full and the whole place has the feel of a bar room bathroom. Despite the bathroom jankiness, I will continue to stop here since it's super convenient.

However, they sell E0 gas so I will gas up here if I am on that side of town. Lots of highway travelers stop in here - if you are eastbound on I-12 this is the last gas stop before you get into Mississippi. They don't have peak busy times.
