It's you're basic everyday 7 Eleven, but what makes this place great in particular is the convenience it offers nearby tourists. Anyone staying at the hotels across the street has immediate access to all of the snacks, treats and drinks 7 Eleven offers. That's huge because there isn't a whole hell of alot near the hotels. Food options in particular are very limited. Oh yeah, I also loved the fact that they offered gas at a reasonable price. I'm definitely a fan of this place. They have blocked off most of the entrances to the parking lot! So you can imagine the chaos. Their claimant is that they had a power surge causing the entrances being blocked? Seriously???? No! They are trying to control the number of shoppers! Why? Because the shelves in all the cold areas are completely empty! No food! Unless you want a cake! And they want to stay open and make money off the other crap. My thought is this Walmart/Sam's is a multi- billion dollar company. You can't get up and running to capacity in 3 days?! Cop out! So you block off entrances is your answer to this and create problems? I am calling BULLSHIT! It absolutely does nothing to complain to Walmart corporation on ANY problems. Their thought is we don't take or react to complaints. It is obvious stance they take , you don't like it here ...leave! This particular location is pretty messed up in general. Small store, less merchandise and high prices. I have always found it convenient because I live not a block away. Retail in Naples in general is pretty sketchy! The stores Walmart, Target and Sam's have hiring problems . Which produces chaotic , dirty stores, and no organization. And this is Naples! The town of beautiful streets and beach houses. While the store is neat, parking ample, gas station never crowded (and $7 car wash a must), they cater to more of an Hispanic community with many of the choices in can goods and spices. They do not try to go for the unusual gourmet type items that Costco carries. They do have the basics and I will note as a health conscious family, the Gary's Quick Steaks in the Frozen section are phenomenal and healthy (drain the fat) if your like Italian type beef. Meat is good, especially the Baby Back Ribs. However, all in all I go there for the staples. One more thing their app that enables you to scan your purchases and not wait in a check out line is great....BUT you still have to wait in line to exit the store which to me kind of defeats the purpose of using the app.

A girl verified they indeed had fuel and hung up. Got to the dock and tied up, no one in sight. I start filling one tank and the pump is barely pumping. Stopped, gave it time to prime (half a dozen times) but couldn't get it to pump. Still no one around. Get back off the boat and go find a worker to help. She said she would be right out and I returned to my vessel. A few minutes later she approached my boat dragging a different fuel hose. She stops 5' short of my stern, extends her arm out and shoulder height and pulled the trigger to FULL. Aiming ahead of herself onto their floating dock she exclaims that this one working better. As gas is now splattering all over me, my boat, and their dock I was in awe when she handed me the nozzle and walked back towards the office. Sad to see just how bad society has completely lost respect for our environment. I totally blame management for the lack of proper training and employing people that have no business working there. While here, my wife and I both ordered some smoothies. I can't recall the ones we had but they were memorable because we have always said, "next time back in Naples, we are returning here". A year later, we kept to our word and returned.... still delicious. Now it's been quite a few years since our last visit; even the location of the smoothie shop/stand was relocated but I had no worries the smoothies would still be great. No one was in line but we also noticed no one at the counter taking orders or making smoothies... no big deal, we waited for a moment. Now others are in line behind us and my wife was going to walk over to the main store and ask if anyone is available but then a girl appeared from a door to a back area.... With about 8 other people behind us at this point she didn't even acknowledge the line... the lady behind us yelled if anyone was able to take an order. She gestured one moment with her hands but was cutting fruit. Another girl came into the smoothie shop and also did not acknowledge the line.... With 8 other people in line, the lady behind us gave up and walked away. We were going to yell over to the girls (both cutting and/or prepping something else) but we were just annoyed at this point and figured it's just not worth it. Maybe an off day but poor service can sure ruin an experience....
