It is one of the small, box type stations with 4 gas pumps, two on either side of the store. Getting in and out of here can be difficult especially when traffic is bad. Due to the size of the store, the selection is not great. Since it is kind of old, it is not the most sparkly store in the area. In general, it is clean and things are in good repair. I rarely see trash outside, and the trash cans always have room in them. The employees are usually polite and seem to be reasonably competent. I always feel safe stopping here. The gas is not the cheapest in the area, but in the morning, it is a good pit stop for snacks and drinks or a little gas.

My friend and her husband ordered the Hot Sausage Po' Boys, and those looked much better! With that said, the place is a little sketchy. I've been a few times and sometimes the card scanner on some of the pumps won't work and there always seems to be people just lurking around for no good reason. Also, the little "latch" on the pumps, that you hook so that your gas pumps without having to hold it, doesn't work on any of the pumps I've tried, so be warned if touching all over a gas pump is an issue for you. I've never had any of the food, but they have fried chicken if that's your thing.

I said to the cook, "La Cena es grande" - which she appreciated. (There is a very strong Spanish influence around here - and we are headed for Texas and Mexico - and I am working with my Duolingo Spanish app.) I heard a very impressive conversation between the Middle Eastern owner and a black guy who seems to be a business partner of his. There was not a squeegee or water at my pump. Otherwise, a really good operation. I would come back in a second.

The days they are open are awesome because they're a well stocked convenience store and also serve food, during the lunch hour. The staff is very friendly and always available to assist. The store and the parking lot are always very well kept. The store doesn't accept credit/debit, but there's an ATM available outside of the store. They also sell gasoline and their rates are usually lower than other gas stations. I would definitely recommend stopping by, when they're open. I would suggest the store post concrete business hours on a window or update their profile so that the proper expectations for their hours are understood.
