We have always found the store to be clean and well-stocked and have not experienced any problems or issues. On our most recent visit this past Saturday afternoon, the store was busy, but the restrooms were clean and stocked, my wife got coffee, and I purchased a fountain drink. We were in and out very quickly and used the self-checkout kiosk. I understand at peak times and crowds things may get different, but with our experience, I would still stop here and recommend it to others looking for this type of store location.

I checked the GasBuddy and these folks, despite the super convenient location, had the cheapest gas in the vicinity by a couple of cents. Very nice and wide pump area with over a dozen two-car lanes. (Yes, please pull to the forward pump.) No trash on the ground, a very tidy gas station. And a bonus star because not only did they have good squeegees at the pump, but the well was filled with soapy water! [Review 15934 overall - 435 in Georgia - 1439 of 2021.]

This gas station is competitively priced against the other gas stations in the area, but they also have a Yogurt shop inside its main area. There are many pumps available and the machines are very easy to use. There is a lot of room to park, if needed..compared to other areas that are so cramped up. Only reason it lost a star is because of its location. Though conveniently located if you are going east...if you are going west, it would be much more difficult to get to. In addition, making the turn out of the gas station to get on I895S is a very short merge lane.

After dark, the parking lot and fuel pumps are very well-lit, and it is a safe place to stop. My wife will often stop here late when she works a late shift at one of the local medical facilities on Jesse Jewell, and she has not ever had any issues or felt unsafe. The store has large, clean restrooms, and the store is well laid out so you can find what you need and get in and out quickly. Inside the store, the aisles are wide, and despite lots of people, you never feel crowded or rushed. QT offers a huge selection of different fountain drinks, frozen drinks, and hot coffee. In addition, they offer hot food items, pizza, roller grill items, and all the snacks you can wish for. The staff are always friendly and helpful if you find something needing stocking or replenishment. They work hard to keep the trash cleaned up and the store moving. The cashiers run very quickly and are normally operating two POS terminals to keep the lines moving. There is seldom any wait. When using Apple Pay, I can get in and out in less time than it takes at most other locations.

This is QuikTrip store #708 and you can find it just off I-985 exit 22 (US 129 south / SR 11 / US…read more129 Bus. north (Athens Highway)) in Gainesville. This is an older QT and, therefore, gets three stars from me ("A-OK"). The best thing about this QT is it's got 20 pumps so it's on the upper end of the QT spectrum in metro Atlanta when it comes to filling station size. You'll most likely never have to wait for a spot here, especially since there's a newer station across the street (more on that later). While the pumps are still fully functional, they're old and not as nice compared to the pumps at newer QTs. The screens are harder to read. This isn't a big deal unless you're spoiled by the pumps at newer stations. As for the convenience store, it's an old school QT retrofitted with contemporary offerings like made-to-order food from QT Kitchens. The restrooms are smaller and more cramped; and in my experience, they're also not the cleanest. The service, like most QTs, is good. A newer RaceTrac has opened across the street. It's one of RaceTrac's current generation "RT6K" stores. I haven't been there yet, but if I'm ever in this part of town again and need gas, I'll be going there instead. The RT6K stores are RaceTrac's answer to QT's "Gen 3" (current generation) stores, so it's probably better than this QT.

The station is always clean, and there is always a gas stall available. It would be nice if they accepted android /apple pay...would give them that 'extra edge' over the rest!
