My favorite Slurpee was mixing the Cherry and Coke flavors to make a Cherry Coke. Today we were in the area of this 7-Eleven location at 9750 Walnut Hill Lane for a family member's birthday. I had read earlier in the day in the Dallas Morning News, that there would be a fun date experience so we decided to stop in on our way to the birthday party. I'm so glad we did!! This 7-Eleven location is amazing!! It's so clean and modernized! It was set up as a fun "date experience" and boy was it ever fun!! They had a DJ, photographer, photo-op spot, very kind and friendly people helping make and serve up the free Slurpee's in your choice of flavors. After the photographer took your pic, they could send it to your phone and also print it off! How cool is that!?! I will definitely be coming back here very soon because it was such a fun and tasty experience. Nothing like a Slurpee on a hot Summer day! The selection of teas at this convenience store rivals Central Market. During the 2021 snowstorm, a line of dad's stood by as this place made batches upon batches of taquitos. I have gone inside on Christmas Day, and the workers are still so enthusiastic that you wouldn't even think that they were at work. I called the store multiple times because I was trying to find out if a specific AC unit was available , but my app was not working. Each time I called, I was repeatedly placed on hold until I eventually had to hang up. I finally selected the option to speak with another department and asked to speak with a manager. I was kept waiting for about 10 minutes before the call was disconnected. At that point, I decided to drive to the store myself. When I arrived, there was no line at Membership, but the two employees working in the department were standing there talking to each other. I explained to a manager what had happened with my calls, and they didn't seem particularly concerned. They told me they would speak with the employees in Membership. What made the situation even more frustrating was that while walking around the store, we ran into the same manager again, and he was also on his phone. I understand that employees may have legitimate reasons for being on their phones, but after repeatedly being unable to get through to the store and then experiencing this in person, it was extremely disappointing. As a paying Sam's member, I expect better communication, accountability, and member service.

First, let me say this is kind of a "divey" gas station, and it's just my style. Like I said, there's a phenomenal taco shop inside (see my review for Del Sur Tacos). So I usually grab a fountain drink to have with my tacos. They have giant fountain drinks for $2 or so, and they have a great beer and wine selection as well. I'm not sure if you can drink beer inside, though. They also have a bunch of automotive stuff like oil and such, and you can get your fill of scratch-off and lottery tickets, or blunt wraps if you fancy. :D Best of all, they take Apple Pay! The smaller sizer equates to a very full house when inside shopping, getting eats, or using the extremely clean bathrooms. When we came through it was on a weekday and not one of the busier weekends. SO many people in such a small space and it's like bumper cars weaving their way through a maze of humans. Then bathrooms are smaller, but still very well kept and clean. The products are all the same, a lot with their signature logo. They have the bbq section, deli, sandwiches, pre made snacks, cookies, and all of the paraphernalia that is Buc-ee's. Gas is usually fairly inexpensive as well. Great place, just smaller, so be prepared to dodge some folks not only in the parking lot, but also in the store.
