As I'm driving north tomorrow, I don't want a six pack to carry. I just need one beer. Thankfully, Texas alcohol law lets convenience stores sell beer and this Circle K was on the way. In fact, it is the last such store on the way out of Cleburne towards my hotel. Easy parking in the front. The gas pump area is tidy with a half dozen pumps distributing Valero fuel products. There was no trash in the lot. Inside, a tightly packed convenience store with the usual snacks and drinks. Coolers with sodas, juices, water and yes, beers. A few open spots on the shelves for some candies and drinks. Definite supply chain issues here. Beer choices included the usual macro beers and I grabbed a tall boy of something light. Great Tiger Mart location! I had to go in and get a state inspection and actually had failed the…read moreinspection. Well the fellow testing it was very sensitive about it and came to show me what was wrong and explained how it could be fixed. Well luckily it was an easy problem and I was able to get it fixed without paying any more into the work I had done previously. I came back day after next and was able to get the test re-done free of charge and passed. I haven't had many interactions with the other employees, but my other reactions have all been positive and the store seemed clean. I would re-visit this location again happily if needed.
