Rabid has become my safe haven away from stress, social media and plain life! Staff isn't just staff, they're family and treat you as such which nowadays is rare to find anywhere! No cliques or rude stares, just encouragement & adjustments made to your specific abilities. A great place to work on yourself with like minded people. 10/10 highly recommended

I have been a member of several gyms over the years but Rabid Training is in a league of its own. It's more than a gym, the owners, Casey and Nichole have created a community that makes you feel like a family. The facility is always clean. The coaches take the time to explain and demonstrate the workouts and each movement to prevent injury as well as modifications. It has become my second home. I absolutely love this place! If you're looking for a place that motivates you to show up and work hard, this is it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Lisa M

Look no further. This is the gym, your second home. Gym owner Casey Arredondo has high standards for all her coaches. My husband and I have been coming here since day 1. I do my group workouts on one side and he gets 1 on 1 training on the other side. I also love that it doesn't matter if you are a pro or a beginner, they will make sure you are welcomed and spend time with you to teach you the basics. Come and check out for yourself! You are not just a number, you are family!

Rabid Fitness Training is an awesome gym with great coaching and an even better community. The workouts are well-structured, challenging, and scalable for all fitness levels. The coaches actually care about form, progress, and accountability -- not just running you through a workout. If you're looking for real coaching and a motivating environment in Chino Hills, I highly recommend Rabid.

If I could put a zero to the review if I would…read more Whole situation was because after I was told by LA fitness when I got injured. my membership was freezed/canceled still had charges from the bank and I reported cancelled. Turned out they had two accounts of me. This is my updated review "I just learned that 'Christian' is the General Manager of this location. Honestly, as amusing as is this, explained a lot. As a small business owner, this entire situation is mind-blowing to me. Mistakes happen in every business. Billing errors happen. Miscommunication happens. What should never happen is a manager speaking to a customer with disrespect, constantly interrupting them, blaming them, and refusing to take accountability. If one of my employees treated a customer the way I was treated, they would be facing serious consequences immediately. Not because a mistake was made, but because of the attitude, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for the customer experience. What I experienced felt less like customer service and more like a membership collection machine. I called because I was physically injured and unable to use the gym. I was told by another employee that I was not being charged anything and that everything was fine. Based on that information, I believed the issue had been resolved. Months later, I discovered I had continued to be charged. Instead of taking responsibility for the misinformation, I was blamed for not checking my bank account often enough. The most shocking part was being told that I should have been checking my bank account every day. As a single mother running a business seven days a week, I found that response insulting, dismissive, and completely disconnected from reality. One bad employee can hurt a business. A General Manager can define it. I hope the Regional Manager reads this review because this isn't just about a billing dispute. It's about how customers are treated. accountability was nonexistent, empathy was nonexistent, and the focus seemed to be on collecting fees rather than resolving a legitimate concern. I genuinely liked this gym and intended to return once my shoulder recovered. Instead, I canceled my membership and will never return. Christian didn't just lose a customer--he permanently changed my opinion of this location and the LA Fitness brand. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience with LA Fitness in Chino." I suffered a serious shoulder injury and have been going through physical therapy. Since I was physically unable to use the gym, I called to freeze or cancel my membership. The employee who answered looked up my information and told me I wasn't being charged anything and that everything was fine. Based on that information, I believed the issue had been handled. They had two accounts of me based on where I lived and the number I changed. No further questions or concerns. Months later, I discovered I had continued to be charged approximately $40 per month. As a single mother working seven days a week, I don't review every transaction every day, and I trusted the information provided by LA Fitness staff. Afterward, Christian called me to discuss the account. Instead of listening to what had happened, he repeatedly interrupted me, spoke over me, very rudely and said it's illegal if I record. I didn't. and became argumentative. The conversation felt more focused on defending the charges and convincing me to keep paying than understanding why I had originally called to freeze my membership due to a legitimate injury. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of accountability. I was given incorrect information by LA Fitness, continued to be charged, and was then blamed for not catching it sooner. When I asked Christian what he would do if he were in my situation, he told me he would check his bank account every day. That response was dismissive, unrealistic, and unhelpful. I never asked for anything unreasonable. I wasn't trying to avoid paying. I simply wanted to temporarily freeze my membership while recovering from a serious shoulder injury. Instead, I received misinformation, continued billing, and poor customer service. LA Fitness may have a good gym, but customer service matters too. Also anyone knows how to deal with this situation let me know. This Christian had promised me a $40 refund and then he took it back. If I want to freeze I have to pay $10 anyway which was also okay. But his attitude poked me and I feel humiliated so I decided for that I would pay for the fee and walk away forever. Also, this is the gym that's in for your money. Please be careful.

But this is not a gym; it is a training facility where you work with trainers to tackle your physical goals. Next, this is about my trainer, Kevin Abandy. Kevin has been my trainer for exactly 8 weeks now and he is awesome! I made the decision to get a trainer after my birthday to truly invest in myself. You can invest in your own skills and education, but the return is almost always indirect. But with a trainer, specifically Kevin, I gained 8 lbs of muscle mass and lost 8% body fat (approx. 13-lbs of fat) after 8 weeks of training with him. Also, at the start of my training, I had back pain (from past injury to T12) and knee pains (from under the kneecap). Through Kevin's program and coaching, my pain has been reduced to near 0 with full mobility -- like squatting all the way down and up with 200-lbs of weight on my shoulders with no knee pain. I would give a 1-star review to keep it from getting crowded, but it would be hard for me to not tell others about the good that comes out of this place. My mom is 70 and she's training with Kevin too! And the story is the same for her... knee pains - GONE. Back pains - GONE. If you're reading this and decide to get a consultation with Kevin, please let him know you saw Alex's review so he knows his method is making an impact.

I've been working with Mia for almost 6 months now and have dropped about 5% in body fat and gained 7% in muscle mass. I would have never considered myself "overweight" but knew I needed to lose a few pounds. I've tried the traditional membership gyms but always found that I would lose interest or motivation. When I started inquiring about personal trainers, Mia was very prompt at answering. During our consultation I did a body fat scan and was shocked to find out that I was nearly 25%. We talked and I learned that it was less about the weight and more about body composition and fat/muscle percentages. Due to my work schedule we were able to meet twice a week for an hour a session. Mia adds good variety to our workouts and I definitively know that I push myself more during our sessions that I normally would have if I were doing the workouts by myself. She also places an emphasis on nutrition and offers advice on what to eat and what to stay away from. The last couple of years my diet has gotten progressively worse, and she's been a great help in getting me back on track. I've noticed that I've started making much healthier choices in the foods I eat. still have a ways to go but would highly recommend Mia for helping you get you to your goals!

I had to stop training for a while due to financial challenges and then COVID, but when I decided to seriously prioritize my health again about two years ago, I knew I didn't want a quick fix, I wanted something sustainable. Finding Emmanuel again at his own studio was exactly what I needed. He's helped me shift my mindset in the best way. Instead of focusing on the number on the scale, he's taught me to value strength, consistency, and overall health. I've learned so much about the importance of muscle, protein, calories, and how everything works together to create real, lasting results, mind body soul! Beyond that, the environment he's created is amazing. It's very family-oriented, welcoming, and supportive. All the trainers contribute to a positive atmosphere where you never feel judged or out of place, something that can be hard to find in a gym from a women's perspective. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, supportive trainer who genuinely cares about your progress and long-term success, I can't recommend Emmanuel enough.

The manager was so rude and dismissive when I tried to ask a simple question, acting like helping members was an inconvenience. The gym itself looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. Several machines were either out of order or clearly worn out, and the ones that did work looked unsafe to use. For a place that charges a membership fee every month, you'd expect the equipment to at least be maintained. On top of that, i  was told i couldn't use the three-day free pass because I had been a member back in 2005 at a different 24 hour fitness. The manager insisted it stated that on the pass, but when I looked it up myself, it said you just couldn't have been a member within the last six months. Being turned away over something from nearly 20 years ago made no sense. What made the situation worse was how his attitude completely changed once he realized we weren't going to sign up on the spot. He became cold and basically turned us away, saying we couldn't even work out. He even suggested we go try another location and "maybe they'll let you do it there." Overall, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Between the poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, outdated equipment, and the way we were treated, this was one of the worst gym experiences I've had. I definitely wouldn't recommend this location unless some serious improvements are made.

But everyone needs to be cautioned about the owner, Dayna Brooks. I simply asked a question about her playbook that I was using at the time and then got attached by one of her trainers, Regina Tenoyo, who was pretending to be Dayna texting me back from Dayna's personal cell number. Dayna even admitted that Regina was acting as her and that my question about the playbook was legitimate. It all went downhill from there when I had a hard time detaching away from my contract and unfortunately had to finish out one more month much to my dismay. She also backpedaled on payment terms that she had told me before. If you are not fawning over Dayna and lauding her, if you voice dissent in any way, you will be ostracized. She made it seem like I was the one that was hard to please when she is the one that is actually highly passive aggressive. She has the worst communication when there's any tension that is against her or any questioning of her. Pay attention to the 1 star reviews. Sure, they are not the majority, but again, for the women who Dayna experiences any tension from, she can't handle this and she will treat you like crap. That is no way for a business owner to treat their clients. You have been warned to stay away from Dayna and Drench Fitness.

I was going through such a tough tough time both mentally because of the loss and physically from being pregnant. I had done everything from boot camp, yoga, and cycling. You name it, I've done it. While checkin out my friends posts and stories on Instagram, I kept seeing posts for a facility that opened up in Chino Hills, Self Made Training Facility with Pablo from Ambitious Fitness. I contacted him and the rest is pretty much history. Myself, my husband, niece, nephew and son all train with Ambitious Fitness. Best things about Ambitious Fitness: 1) Pablo and his team (and I mean every single one of them) are incredibly passionate and love what they do, and it totally shows in their energy and the way they carry themselves. 2) They have this amazing ability to push you beyond what you think you can do. You would have never thought that this Asian girl who only played badminton and piano as a sport could deadlift 275lbs. 3) They make sure you will achieve your goals and get results. My results: Being only 125 lbs in college, it was hard to believe I would get to as much as 168lbs and 36% body fat, but I did. After a year with Pablo I got down to 148lbs and 19.1% body fat at my lowest. I am more physically fit than I ever was and mentally stronger. Hit Ambitious Fitness up!!
