There is a wide range of instructors, but my faves are Anthony, Rena, and Eunice. I used to be a member of another Pilates studio, and the classes here have gone above and beyond that. Overall, I highly recommend taking a reformer Pilates class here. While I haven't used the other resources at the gym, they seem to have a good amount of cardio machines and weights, a basketball court, pool and sauna.

If I could put a zero to the review if I would…read more Whole situation was because after I was told by LA fitness when I got injured. my membership was freezed/canceled still had charges from the bank and I reported cancelled. Turned out they had two accounts of me. This is my updated review "I just learned that 'Christian' is the General Manager of this location. Honestly, as amusing as is this, explained a lot. As a small business owner, this entire situation is mind-blowing to me. Mistakes happen in every business. Billing errors happen. Miscommunication happens. What should never happen is a manager speaking to a customer with disrespect, constantly interrupting them, blaming them, and refusing to take accountability. If one of my employees treated a customer the way I was treated, they would be facing serious consequences immediately. Not because a mistake was made, but because of the attitude, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for the customer experience. What I experienced felt less like customer service and more like a membership collection machine. I called because I was physically injured and unable to use the gym. I was told by another employee that I was not being charged anything and that everything was fine. Based on that information, I believed the issue had been resolved. Months later, I discovered I had continued to be charged. Instead of taking responsibility for the misinformation, I was blamed for not checking my bank account often enough. The most shocking part was being told that I should have been checking my bank account every day. As a single mother running a business seven days a week, I found that response insulting, dismissive, and completely disconnected from reality. One bad employee can hurt a business. A General Manager can define it. I hope the Regional Manager reads this review because this isn't just about a billing dispute. It's about how customers are treated. accountability was nonexistent, empathy was nonexistent, and the focus seemed to be on collecting fees rather than resolving a legitimate concern. I genuinely liked this gym and intended to return once my shoulder recovered. Instead, I canceled my membership and will never return. Christian didn't just lose a customer--he permanently changed my opinion of this location and the LA Fitness brand. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience with LA Fitness in Chino." I suffered a serious shoulder injury and have been going through physical therapy. Since I was physically unable to use the gym, I called to freeze or cancel my membership. The employee who answered looked up my information and told me I wasn't being charged anything and that everything was fine. Based on that information, I believed the issue had been handled. They had two accounts of me based on where I lived and the number I changed. No further questions or concerns. Months later, I discovered I had continued to be charged approximately $40 per month. As a single mother working seven days a week, I don't review every transaction every day, and I trusted the information provided by LA Fitness staff. Afterward, Christian called me to discuss the account. Instead of listening to what had happened, he repeatedly interrupted me, spoke over me, very rudely and said it's illegal if I record. I didn't. and became argumentative. The conversation felt more focused on defending the charges and convincing me to keep paying than understanding why I had originally called to freeze my membership due to a legitimate injury. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of accountability. I was given incorrect information by LA Fitness, continued to be charged, and was then blamed for not catching it sooner. When I asked Christian what he would do if he were in my situation, he told me he would check his bank account every day. That response was dismissive, unrealistic, and unhelpful. I never asked for anything unreasonable. I wasn't trying to avoid paying. I simply wanted to temporarily freeze my membership while recovering from a serious shoulder injury. Instead, I received misinformation, continued billing, and poor customer service. LA Fitness may have a good gym, but customer service matters too. Also anyone knows how to deal with this situation let me know. This Christian had promised me a $40 refund and then he took it back. If I want to freeze I have to pay $10 anyway which was also okay. But his attitude poked me and I feel humiliated so I decided for that I would pay for the fee and walk away forever. Also, this is the gym that's in for your money. Please be careful.

My review is for my trainer Kevin Abandy. Just wanted to say he is a very knowledgeable trainer. He…read morewould first listen to your goals and also take into consideration of your current body conditions and injuries and work around that. Before the start of every single session he would ask how are you doing today to ensure he can address any issue you may have that particular day before starting. He does not want you to aggravate any injuries (he would also get on my case for over stretching due to my existing injuries haha). But a big thing for him is to instill having the right technique. Outside of the gym, he would text you the workout of the day, so you can track progress, tries to hold you accountable for having the nutrition, sleep, and would be very responsive to text or call anytime. The only knock on him is it's too bad he can't observe me on every single rep but that's because I signed up for his cheaper group session rather than 1 on 1 in which he also offers.

But this is not a gym; it is a training facility where you work with trainers to tackle your physical goals. Next, this is about my trainer, Kevin Abandy. Kevin has been my trainer for exactly 8 weeks now and he is awesome! I made the decision to get a trainer after my birthday to truly invest in myself. You can invest in your own skills and education, but the return is almost always indirect. But with a trainer, specifically Kevin, I gained 8 lbs of muscle mass and lost 8% body fat (approx. 13-lbs of fat) after 8 weeks of training with him. Also, at the start of my training, I had back pain (from past injury to T12) and knee pains (from under the kneecap). Through Kevin's program and coaching, my pain has been reduced to near 0 with full mobility -- like squatting all the way down and up with 200-lbs of weight on my shoulders with no knee pain. I would give a 1-star review to keep it from getting crowded, but it would be hard for me to not tell others about the good that comes out of this place. My mom is 70 and she's training with Kevin too! And the story is the same for her... knee pains - GONE. Back pains - GONE. If you're reading this and decide to get a consultation with Kevin, please let him know you saw Alex's review so he knows his method is making an impact.

I felt uncomfortable walking around trying to find someone to help me, and I texted at 6:37 PM that I was there. A trainer eventually approached me and was polite, but the overall experience felt disorganized and uncomfortable. When the manager came out, the focus seemed to be on how I entered and whether I rang the doorbell rather than the fact that I had a confirmed appointment and did not know their process. After I left, I received a phone call that felt more focused on explaining why the situation was my fault than resolving the miscommunication. This gym may be a good fit for others, but based on this experience, it was not the right fit for me.

But for me what really made the gym stand out is how awesome the people that work there are. Both Tristan and Robert (who both help manage the location) were extremely accommodating to me when I first started showing up and weren't at all pushy about trying to get me to sign up permanently, which to me is a good indicator that they actually truly care about servicing their clients and not making them feel like a "number". All in all, I would definitely recommend this gym to any fitness enthusiast- especially those who like to work out at both the late and early morning hours

I had to stop training for a while due to financial challenges and then COVID, but when I decided to seriously prioritize my health again about two years ago, I knew I didn't want a quick fix, I wanted something sustainable. Finding Emmanuel again at his own studio was exactly what I needed. He's helped me shift my mindset in the best way. Instead of focusing on the number on the scale, he's taught me to value strength, consistency, and overall health. I've learned so much about the importance of muscle, protein, calories, and how everything works together to create real, lasting results, mind body soul! Beyond that, the environment he's created is amazing. It's very family-oriented, welcoming, and supportive. All the trainers contribute to a positive atmosphere where you never feel judged or out of place, something that can be hard to find in a gym from a women's perspective. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, supportive trainer who genuinely cares about your progress and long-term success, I can't recommend Emmanuel enough.

They also have a sauna, which is a great perk, along with a body composition scanner that provides detailed insights into things like body fat, visceral fat, muscle mass, bone density, and more. It's a really cool feature if you're looking to track your progress over time. They even have a small fridge stocked with drinks in case you forget your water or want to buy an energy drink. Keira is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to. She takes the time to explain proper form, mobility, and functional movement, and she's honest in the best way, she'll give you the feedback you need while being encouraging and supportive. I always leave feeling like I learned something new, and I definitely feel like I got a great workout. Unfortunately, I…read moredidn't save what I wrote and now 6 years later, I have to admit I'm not going to remember all the full details. But everyone needs to be cautioned about the owner, Dayna Brooks. I simply asked a question about her playbook that I was using at the time and then got attached by one of her trainers, Regina Tenoyo, who was pretending to be Dayna texting me back from Dayna's personal cell number. Dayna even admitted that Regina was acting as her and that my question about the playbook was legitimate. It all went downhill from there when I had a hard time detaching away from my contract and unfortunately had to finish out one more month much to my dismay. She also backpedaled on payment terms that she had told me before. If you are not fawning over Dayna and lauding her, if you voice dissent in any way, you will be ostracized. She made it seem like I was the one that was hard to please when she is the one that is actually highly passive aggressive. She has the worst communication when there's any tension that is against her or any questioning of her. Pay attention to the 1 star reviews. Sure, they are not the majority, but again, for the women who Dayna experiences any tension from, she can't handle this and she will treat you like crap. That is no way for a business owner to treat their clients. You have been warned to stay away from Dayna and Drench Fitness.

Best things about Ambitious Fitness: 1) Pablo and his team (and I mean every single one of them) are incredibly passionate and love what they do, and it totally shows in their energy and the way they carry themselves. 2) They have this amazing ability to push you beyond what you think you can do. You would have never thought that this Asian girl who only played badminton and piano as a sport could deadlift 275lbs. 3) They make sure you will achieve your goals and get results.
