Upon entering, 5 pups came to greet and sniff us excitedly. One really enjoyed puppy nipping (gently) random things like my purse, hair, and watchband. Another seemed quite content to rest his head in my lap. He was the sweetest little guy! I wasn't expecting any pups to be affectionate since I've heard Shiba Inu dogs can be standoffish. He wasn't the exception either. I saw at least 4 other pups cuddled up with patrons. The staff person was very gentle with the dogs and they all seemed to love him. All pups appeared quite happy and healthy. I would love to go back again and spend more time there!

It makes you feel like you're dining in a small reptile zoo. Tucked away in Central, Animojo offers East African comfort food with an earthy interior of a small little tree hut you're sitting in. If my friend hadn't brought me here, I'd have never found this place easily. They also sell a selection of art pieces handmade by Kenya, Madagascar, and Tanzania people in Africa to raise awareness of the place. I lived nearby and it was the perfect spot for grabbing a healthy breakfast before starting my day. It was also a great place to unwind while using my laptop after a long day at work. The french fries are also great. Food is fresh and seasonably chosen in terms of what comes in daily soup/salad options.
