I see the games and activities that the children are engaged in. They are age appropriate and the children are very attentive to what they are learning. Also, I have had my 1 and a half, and three year old grandsons in the program. They are in diapers and have never had a rash when they go home. Also, my four year old granddaughter gets some help with potty training. In addition to that, they do up her hair in cute ways. This is a big deal since she won't let my husband or I touch her hair without screaming. I don't know how they do it, but I am so grateful that they do this. I guess I am meaning to say this preschool goes above and beyond my expectations. I cannot thank the teachers and director of the daycare enough. I love my grandchildren and they do too. I give them a five star review and if I could, I would go even higher. My granddaughter loves going to preschool. I want to see my teachers and my friends she says. It is also a very clean and I believe safe environment or the kids. I have witnessed the staff cleaning and disinfecting things when I pick up the children. To me, health and safety are the most important criteria for putting a child in daycare. The place has a lock with a code on the door to get in. Take it from a grandma, this is the place to bring your kids. They are just outstanding in their care for all the kids.

Artists Uncorkd communicated to me that I would receive a proof a couple days before the event. Great, all set! Then, something came up and I wasn't able to attend the event. I emailed to ask if I could get a refund and got NO RESONSE, I emailed again and got NO RESPONSE. The easiest thing to do is email someone back. So I wasted the $45 I paid and never got the refund. Even if they emailed back to say they can't refund the money, I would be fine with that, but NO RESPONSE seems intentional. UPDATE: Immediately after writing this review I suddenly got an email saying "you've been refunded, it takes a few days", no apology or explanataion. Wonderful! Would have loved that communication a week ago.

There were a few good teachers, but many teachers would leave the school after a few years due to the low salaries they received. Extracurricular activities such as clubs, sports, band are unorganized, and given little care from the administrators. Many of the students were very unhappy with their education. I thought it was because we did not want to go to school, but when I went to a new school, I realized that there was an unhealthy amount of hatred towards school by nearly every student at Elyria Community.

He can be difficult to get to nap but teachers have rubbed his back, read him a story, and let him take his time getting to sleep. He's now napping almost everyday there because he's getting that attention that he needs. Our last daycare was overcrowded but this one feels like the kids have much more space. My son gets to interact with children older than him on a regular basis and because of that I believe he has started talking so much more than he was at the other daycare. Santa came to see the kids and gave my son a little bear...which he could not stop talking about. He loved that experience. Besides the great staff that give me details about Liam's day, feelings, likes and dislikes, I know this place is great because of the positive changes I've seen in my sons behavior and abilities.

Lorain County Community College is scamming veterans…read more I attended this university from 2020-2023 on the Post 9/11 GI Bill. However, my benefits expired before I finished so I had to pay the difference on my student account. On Jan. 24, 2024, I paid off the balance in full which was $2,440.72, but I never received my diploma for over a year. When I went in to inquire about it on April 8, 2025, they said I still owed $400.45. I paid that amount in full but again did not receive my diploma. The Department of Veterans Affairs provided me with documentation confirming that Lorain County Community College owed me $211.67. They sent me a check for $188.78. Then apparently to celebrate 4th of July weekend, Lorain County Community College sent me a bill for $118.78 when I have not attended a class there in over 18 months and have settled this account twice now to the tune of $2,841.17. If this does not constitute a scam, it is gross and shameful negligence. For all I know, they will continue to hold my diploma hostage and they will continue to bill me for classes I took and paid for years ago. Shame on you, Lorain County Community College.
